Excellent shopping experience! (Finland)
I've had a great experience shopping on Amazon.de! I ordered several products with delivery to Finland, and everything went smoothly. A wide selection of products, competitive prices, and an easy ordering process. Everything arrived well-packaged and in excellent condition.
I genuinely don't understand why there are so many negative reviews. My personal experience has been nothing but positive!
I'm very satisfied with the service and will definitely order again. Thank you, Amazon!
AMAZON
AMAZON: TWO ORDERS, TWO BROKEN PROMISES, AND AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE!
I have over TEN YEARS of professional experience in customer service, and I genuinely struggle to understand how a company as enormous as Amazon can operate with such an astonishing lack of accountability, professionalism, and respect for its customers.
I am temporarily staying in Denmark and deliberately paid significantly more to purchase this product here rather than in Germany, specifically because Amazon promised delivery within 48 hours.
FIRST ORDER:
Promised delivery: 2 days.
Actual outcome: After TEN DAYS of waiting, Amazon declared my package LOST.
EIGHT DAYS beyond the original delivery promise, just to be told that the package had disappeared!
And then, as if wasting ten days of my time wasn’t enough, the initial refund offered was LESS than what I had actually paid.
I had to argue with customer service to receive the correct amount.
SECOND ORDER:
Amazon’s representatives encouraged me to reorder, assured me the same problem would not happen again, and provided €10 toward express shipping.
I trusted them.
Another 48-hour delivery promise.
Another failure.
Now, instead of two days, Amazon estimates that my second order might arrive on NOVEMBER 9 — approximately SEVEN DAYS after ordering.
SEVENTEEN DAYS OF COMBINED WAITING FOR TWO ORDERS THAT WERE EACH SUPPOSED TO TAKE JUST TWO DAYS!
And that is assuming the second package actually arrives.
Because based on my first experience, I am seriously concerned that Amazon will simply make me wait several more days before announcing that THIS package has also been lost.
I sincerely hope I am wrong.
But at this point, why should I trust another delivery estimate?
AND THEN THERE IS CUSTOMER SERVICE.
An endless parade of representatives, repeated explanations, meaningless apologies, and absolutely no meaningful resolution.
Representatives kept changing during conversations, forcing me to explain the entire situation from the beginning again and again.
After more than a decade working professionally in customer service, I understand perfectly well that mistakes happen.
What I cannot accept is a company repeatedly making promises it fails to fulfill, while leaving customers to deal with the consequences.
CUSTOMER SERVICE IS SUPPOSED TO RESOLVE PROBLEMS, NOT BECOME ANOTHER PROBLEM.
Amazon’s support system made an already unacceptable situation even more exhausting.
I paid extra for faster delivery.
I gave Amazon a second chance.
I spent countless hours contacting customer support.
And what have I received?
One lost package, refund complications, two failed delivery promises, and another uncertain delivery date.
THIS IS NOT CONVENIENCE. THIS IS A COMPLETE FAILURE OF CUSTOMER SERVICE AND LOGISTICS.
The irony is extraordinary.
A company that built its reputation on fast, reliable delivery cannot manage to deliver a single product to Denmark within the timeframe it repeatedly advertises.
If November 9 becomes yet another failed delivery date, will Amazon simply apologize again and offer another refund?
Because that is exactly what happened the first time.
I am tired of apologies.
I am tired of promises.
And I am particularly tired of being treated as though my time has absolutely no value.
AMAZON, YOUR CUSTOMERS DESERVE BETTER THAN THIS.
After more than ten years in customer service, I would be embarrassed to see a customer treated this way by any organization I worked for.
TWO ORDERS. TWO FAILED PROMISES. ONE LOST PACKAGE. NO CONFIDENCE LEFT.
One star is far more than this experience deserves.
ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL.

Amazon became corrupted and money stealer stealing second hand items as new, allowing sellers to SCAM people. Also, it doesnt let me publish review that it states that product is used, damaged and opened.
I get used product for extremly high shop price i can find locally, and they SCAM me.
Be carefull about Amazon.

I got a keyboard from their refurbished department as there was the only one available. Stopped working after 3 months. Only solution I got was to send it back which takes 3 weeks, then wait for my money back, then buy it again (more expensive) and the delivery another 3 weeks. Bad customer service.
Dreadful delivery
Amazon.de delivery is so bad that is doesn't even merit one star. The reasons are simple Amazon doesn't give its delivery drivers enough time to do the job properly and it doesn't pay them enough so your parcel will most likely end up in a post office a long distance from your home. Amazon make the situation even worse by placing absurd restrictions on the goods it will deliver to its lockers. Apparently an electric toothbrush might catch fire so it can't go in the locker for a few hours ! I would be happy to pay the real cost of delivering reliably to my home but this is not an option.
I cannot begin to describe how…
I cannot begin to describe how disappointing and frustrating my experience with Amazon Germany’s customer service has been.
After years of receiving fantastic service from Amazon UK, I am genuinely shocked by the difference in standards.
I live in Denmark and shop through Amazon Germany because Amazon Denmark does not exist. I have been an Amazon Prime subscriber and have never had any issues using my Danish bank card to pay for my subscription or purchases. However, recently, I discovered that I could no longer rent or buy movies on Prime Video without a German-issued credit card, which, as someone living in Denmark, I obviously do not have.
What makes this particularly frustrating is that Amazon has no problem accepting my Danish card for Prime membership and regular purchases, yet somehow the same card is unacceptable when I want to rent or buy a film. It makes absolutely no sense to me.
As a result, I cancelled my Prime subscription yesterday.
To make matters worse, my attempts to resolve the issue through customer service were an absolute disaster. I was transferred between four different representatives, having to explain the same situation from the beginning every single time, without anyone providing a solution.
The callback service was equally frustrating. Despite the app informing me that Amazon was calling, my phone never rang. When I explained this to the last customer service representative I spoke to via chat, she simply refused to acknowledge that the callback system wasn’t working. Instead, she repeatedly assured me that I shouldn’t worry because Amazon would call me back.
That call never came.
What disappoints me most is not simply the payment restriction, but the complete lack of effective customer support, accountability, and willingness to listen to a customer.
I understand that policies and regional restrictions may differ between countries, but there is no excuse for such a poor customer service experience.
After years of being a satisfied Amazon UK customer, I expected a comparable level of professionalism from Amazon Germany. Unfortunately, my experience has been the complete opposite.
Overall, an incredibly disappointing experience and a spectacular failure in customer service.
I really like amazon
I really like amazon, they can have great bargains and their deliveries are fast. When you have a complaint they resolve stuff and try their best to please you.
But for the love of God:
STOP USING DRAGONFLY, THEY CONSISTANTLY LEAVE PACKAGES UNATTENDED IN THE HALLWAY OF A GIANT APPARTMENT COMPLEX. WE PAY DELIVERY COSTS AND AMAZON PAYS THEM. THEIR JOB IS TO BRING IT TO THE FRONT DOOR.
Dont call me from Germany to Denmark…
Dont call me from Germany to Denmark AND on a Sunday just to say that my package will arrive as promised ..
Smooth experience and good product
I had a good experience ordering from Amazon. The pajama set arrived on time and in good condition, and the quality is good overall. Everything went smoothly with the order and delivery. Overall, I’m satisfied with my purchase.
Unbelievably bad service
I ordered a package which supposedly arrived to a neighbor but when i asked the neighbor he said he didn't recieve it. Customer service is shitty and it's practically impossible to talk to a real human, they tried their very best to keep you stuck in AI and useless "customer help" websites. Unbelievably shitty service, zero respect to customers. Will never order again, it would be easier and faster to personally buy items.
Chaotic deliveries and it seems I am not the only one
I told Amazon I wanted to return a mattress.
I told Amazon I still wanted to think about a different mattress before ordering a different one.
Amazon chat ignored me and sent a replacement.
In another Chat Amazon said the previous associate had made a mistake and that no replacement would be sent and delivered.
Then I received a message from Amazon telling me a replacement was on its way. I contacted Amazon again. I was told everything was OK and I didn’t need to do anything.
On 27.10.2026 a replacement was delivered while was at work.
Yesterday I contacted an associate again. She wanted to read the history. I wanted to return the mattress. Then she disappeared.
The mattress is waiting to be picked up.
I think this is very poor Service.
Really hate them
Really hate them, nothing is ever easy with this company.
Amazon.de refuses to complete my refund despite free returns and provides no proof of the alleged payment
Amazon.de repeatedly claims a refund was paid but refuses to provide proof
I am extremely disappointed with Amazon.de's handling of an unresolved refund dispute.
Order 306-9610098-2517165, placed on 9 September 2026, was paid in full (€133.04) via iDEAL.
After returning all three items, I received only €123.76 in refunds, leaving €9.28 outstanding.
Amazon's A-to-Z Guarantee team repeatedly claims that an additional €14.00 was paid on 5 October 2026. However, this payment never appeared in my bank account, and Amazon has failed to provide any transaction reference or documentary evidence of the transfer.
Even Amazon's own Order Details page shows only €123.76 refunded.
I have contacted Customer Service numerous times. Each time, the case is forwarded back to the A-to-Z team without a meaningful resolution.
Most recently, Amazon requested customs clearance documents for my €9.28 claim, although the dispute has absolutely nothing to do with customs charges.
After weeks of repeated calls, contradictory explanations, and unsuccessful investigations, I still have neither the missing refund nor proof of the alleged €14 payment.
I am asking Amazon.de to assign this case to a competent payments investigation team, trace the alleged transfer, and resolve the outstanding €9.28 refund.
This is no longer just about €9.28. It is about accountability, transparency, and the repeated failure to investigate a straightforward payment discrepancy.
I am extremely disappointed with Amazon…
I am extremely disappointed with Amazon and its customer service.
I placed an order that I have not yet received, and the prices of the products subsequently dropped significantly. I contacted customer service to ask whether I should return my order and purchase the products again at the lower price.
The representative told me there was no need to do that, as I would receive a refund for the price difference after receiving my items. I trusted this information and decided not to return the order or place a new one.
Now, Amazon is refusing to refund the price difference.
Had the representative simply told me that a refund was not possible, I would have returned the order and reordered the products at the discounted price. Instead, I relied on the information provided by Amazon’s own customer service, and now I am being denied the solution I was led to believe I would receive.
The most frustrating part is that this entire situation could easily have been avoided if the representative had provided accurate information in the first place.
I should not have to pay more simply because I trusted Amazon’s customer service. Nor should I have to waste my time fighting for a fair resolution after following the advice given by one of their own representatives.
This experience has seriously damaged my trust in Amazon. I expected honest communication, reliable customer service, and a company that takes responsibility for the information its representatives provide.
Extremely disappointing service. I would strongly encourage Amazon to review how this situation was handled and take responsibility for the misleading information I was given.
Amazon has developed into a chaotic
Amazon has developed into a chaotic, non-trust worthy and completely irresponsible entity for Consumerism.
I had contact with the support several times upon repeat delivery issues, lacking any updates, or any given solutions. The only option repeatedly is, receive a refund and replace the order.
It's a mess. 3 times the same order, 3 times waiting for amazon to issue refunding and this they do by every item separately over a period of 14 days..
Incompetency in Amazon DE’s customer service
My experience with Amazon's customer service has been incredibly frustrating. What should have been a relatively straightforward delivery issue has turned into an exhausting process of navigating automated systems that seem designed to redirect customers rather than actually help them.
I ordered an item on 3 October 2026 for a total of €15.15, including shipping. The parcel was not delivered to the intended recipient. My Amazon order page nevertheless stated that it had been delivered to the mailbox on 6 October.
After contacting Swiss Post, I eventually visited a post office in person. An employee showed me the tracking history, which indicated that the parcel had been returned on 9 October. Neither the employee nor I could establish where it had been returned. I only discovered what had actually happened after making repeated complaints.
I subsequently realised that I had entered my own name rather than the recipient's father's name in the delivery-address field. I understand that this may have prevented the delivery person from matching the parcel to the name on the mailbox, and I acknowledge my part in that mistake. However, this does not explain why the order page continued to show the parcel as delivered when I had not received it, nor does it resolve what happened to the returned parcel.
The most disappointing part of this experience has been Amazon's customer-service system.
I tried to find a way to contact someone who could investigate the delivery and help me obtain a replacement or refund. Instead, I was repeatedly directed through automated menus and irrelevant support pages. The chatbot offered predefined buttons but no apparent way to explain my situation in my own words. When I selected product support, I was redirected to information about the product itself rather than the missing parcel.
I then tried the seller-support route, only to be directed towards the brand's support website, which was also irrelevant to my delivery problem. The order's return centre was no better: it presented a list of reasons for returning an item, such as disliking it, finding it faulty, or receiving the wrong product. None accurately described my situation, because I had never received the item in the first place.
At every stage, I felt as though I was being sent in circles. I was trying to resolve a specific issue, but the available options kept directing me towards processes that did not apply. I spent time navigating these pages without getting closer to a resolution.
Customer service should make it easier for customers to explain unusual situations, not force them into predefined categories that fail to account for them. Automated support can be useful for simple questions, but there must be an accessible way to reach a human representative when the automated process is clearly not working.
I am not claiming that every part of this situation was Amazon's fault. I recognise that the recipient-name discrepancy may have contributed to the failed delivery. My complaint is about the lack of a clear, effective way to resolve the issue afterwards, the discrepancy between the delivery status and the tracking information provided by Swiss Post, and the amount of effort required just to try to obtain an explanation.
A customer should not have to visit a post office, make repeated complaints, navigate multiple irrelevant support pages, and still struggle to find a way to explain what happened.
Amazon needs to provide a more accessible route to human customer support, clearer communication about returned parcels, and a straightforward process for resolving orders marked as delivered when the customer has not received them.
At present, my experience has left me deeply dissatisfied with Amazon's customer service. The system may provide plenty of help pages, but having information available is not the same as actually helping a customer resolve a problem.
They sell used goods as new.
I purchased an ASUS RT-BE88U router, which was advertised as new. Upon registering it on the manufacturer's website, I discovered that it had already been registered three months ago in another country. Consequently, the item is not new as claimed, but used. Amazon only offers the option to return the product. Unfortunately, the price has increased in the meantime. So, I will end up paying the price difference, returning the old router, and going through the installation process all over again for a new one.
I used to be so happy ordering…
I used to be so happy ordering different things from Amazon and highly recommended it to friends and familie. They were concerned if something went wrong but i told them that they had the best customer service..NOT anymore unfortunately. Have a problem with a n item that was not exactly as ordered. I've tried to send emails, chat and even found s place to write and send.. Twice! Never heard back. I'm so disappointed..

Broken coffee machine with awful costumer service , i will never buy something again
Terrible service
Terrible service. There’s absolutely no real feedback. Every time I try to resolve an issue, I only get standardized chatbot responses, which don’t apply to my situation. It’s impossible to reach a human representative. I wasted a tremendous amount of time and energy, and I still haven’t resolved the issue.
