Staff was unwilling to help. Reaching out to customer service when not speaking Italian is an almost impossible task. They just try to get rid of you by making excuses that are clearly nonsense. Products might be okay but the service is very bad. I feel disrespected as a customer and will definitely discourage friends to go there.

I am very disappointed by MediaWorld…
I am very disappointed by MediaWorld Italy. The physical shops does not have enough live stock for smart phone models. The staff is extremely slow, and unattended. Since I could not find what I am looking for in their shops, I ordered online to pick it up from the shop. But the order is delayed without any updates communicated. The expected delivery date is passed but they are still not giving a new expected date. I cannot plan myself, when to go, when to receive the phone... I am disappointed and I do not understand how an order could be in 'preparation' for 7 days? I do not recommend this shop.

This time service was very bad.
Telling me I could return at 7 pm, you really did!, you took my phone number ... and then I returned at 7 you told me the pc was not ready. And telling me then I wasn't phoned yet, so if I could come back when phoned and told the pc was ready the morning after. For that you had to write down my phone number again btw ... when I picked up the pc the morning after I came home and part of the powercable was missing!
So I had to return again to the shop for the cable. No friendly face there ... and no sorry or apology.
Excuse me ... but I am a (returning) customer, so treat me like one.

€104.52 MEDIA WORLD ITALY held since July
Chinese owned MEDIA WORLD ITALY. It is owned by JD (China) They acquired control of Ceconomy a German company they have not paid back my money.
Go direct to the companies if you like a European product why order via China? I ordered directly from the European companirs after this chaos and I have the products.
Media world Italy has been the worst online service I have ever experienced, with virtually no customer service from actual human beings.
The products were never delivered. Media World Italy eventually acknowledged the terrible service and cancelled the order, but they still have not returned my money. They have had my money since 17 July 2026.
There is no access to a real person — just AI, forms and generic emails. When something goes wrong, there is nobody available to actually deal with the problem. You deal deal with it.. tough luck!
MediaWorld partners with other companies to fulfil orders, but some of these partners are clearly incapable of delivering products properly. MediaWorld’s attitude seems to be: “We wash our hands of it — you sort it out with the partner.”
Even worse, their website showed that my products had been delivered or were on their way, when in reality they had not even left their partner. I spent three weeks waiting for products that never arrived, based on information that was simply wrong.
This is the fundamental problem with a company that has removed real human customer service. AI and automated systems are only one part of the process. When MediaWorld’s own systems make a mistake, there is nobody there to understand the situation, take responsibility and actually fix it.
And meanwhile, they still have my MONEY €104.52
Still chasing still don't have my money.
