I find useful to have an overview of my expenses and make use of the discounts and cash backs available. The app is mostly intuitive, so I don't need to spend too much time to understand the features

Nice app, many discounts and vouchers! Especially nice to buy coffee at the supermarket and then receive 50% of the price back :)

Save money on everyday purchases with Woolsocks Woolsocks is a free financial & cashback app designed to help you save money effortlessly on your everyday spending. One of the easiest ways to save is by buying gift cards for popular brands directly in the app and earning instant cashback on your purchase. Users often buy vouchers for brands like Amazon, Zalando, IKEA, H&M and many more. You can use these vouchers immediately at your favourite stores while automatically getting a portion of your money back. Woolsocks also lets you earn cashback in other ways. You can receive cashback on groceries by scanning your receipts, and you can earn rewards when shopping online by clicking through Woolsocks so your purchase is automatically tracked. With the Woolsocks browser extension, you’ll also get reminders to activate cashback when visiting supported online stores. In addition to cashback, Woolsocks helps you reduce your monthly expenses. The app can help you save money on subscriptions and compare better deals for energy, internet and insurance, often with extra cashback when you switch. If you choose to connect your bank account, Woolsocks can automatically organise your spending, show your subscriptions, and give you a clear overview of your finances in one place. Connecting your bank account is optional, and many users simply use Woolsocks for cashback and savings. You can also store and scan your loyalty cards in the app, replacing physical cards with one convenient digital wallet alongside your vouchers. For users who want to go even further, Woolsocks offers the opportunity to earn Stockpoints, which can be converted into real investments when opening an investing account. With optional investing plans, you can even automate small monthly deposits and start growing your money over time. Our mission is simple: to make saving money easy, rewarding and accessible for everyone.

Account blocked for months, no response anymore

Account blocked for months, no real answers, funds still held

I have been a loyal Woolsocks user for over a year and a half, an intensive one at that, and this is how I get treated. Since June 2026 my account has been restricted because it was supposedly linked to other accounts. I do not know any of the other email addresses they mentioned and never have.

I have asked repeatedly, at least six times now, for concrete proof of this link (IP address, device ID, payment details, anything). Every single time I get a generic macro response about “suspicious activity” with zero specifics. My last message from mid August has not been answered at all.

My funds are still sitting in my account and they will not release them or give me a clear reason why. For a company that markets itself as trustworthy and transparent, this has been the exact opposite. Genuinely disappointing after being such a loyal user.

Their partnerships are fake

Their partnerships are fake. They happily pay out a few cents, but the moment you qualify for actual money (€25 cashback from Samsung), they come up with excuses to deny it. Complete scam and totally untrustworthy. Do not link your bank card or share your personal data with this app

blocked when i wanted to payout

Had accumulated alot of balance on woolsocks. Decided to payout. They block mine account. Saying I misused their magic gift card program. Was using to order clothing and returning the ones that dont fit. They say i was abusing it for ordering and refunding. I contact with support. Used their app for multiple years. They would not revert back the cashback that they felt were not legitimate so instead they blocked my whole account.

Cashback policy is misleading

I purchased a travel bag from Amazon.nl on 22 August 2026, which clearly falls under the "Kleding, schoenen, sieraden, horloges & baggage" category advertised at 10.50% cashback.

However, I received only 0.07% in cashback, instead of the expected 10.50%. It was not categorized under any of the options.

When I contacted support, they informed me that Amazon does not accept cashback claims from third parties.

This is frustrating because:
1. The category clearly included baggage items
2. I followed all their instructions for successful tracking
3. Yet there's no recourse when the system fails

Woolsocks should either: improve their Amazon tracking accuracy or adjust their terms to be transparent about this limitation upfront.

I cannot recommend this service for Amazon purchases.

Only out for your data

I would get a 5 euro coupon for a website i was using. But first i had to download the app, then i had to make an account, then i had to accept all their mailing and cookies, then i had to connect my bank account and then i had to make a f*** purchase first.

Hi Bram, thank you for your feedback — we understand your frustration and we're sorry to hear the experience felt like a lot of steps just to get your coupon.

To clarify how the reward works: the €5 coupon is transaction-based. To receive it, you simply need to make a purchase at the store and pay with the bank card linked to the app. Woolsocks will automatically detect the transaction and add the reward to your Cashback Sock — no manual claiming needed.

We know connecting your bank account can feel like a big ask, but it's what allows us to recognise your purchase and process the reward securely and automatically.

If you have any questions or need a hand getting started, feel free to reach out to us at support@woolsocks.eu — we're happy to help!
