I have a Flex Link Micro S LTE about 2 years old, started taking only night pictures and now with a full battery will not even turn on. These are not cheap and should ABSOLUTELY work for longer than 2 seasons!! But I've had enough...I've been on with customer serivce for days and just now when I've reached my limit they want to escalate. They can't get beyond "Policy" and help a customer with a camera that should have lasted longer than 2 seasons!!...and I would offer the CSR name but convenienlty that is not avaiallbe and I'm guessing so the responses can be robotic and without empathy and not be held responsible. Probably the last time I purchase a Spypoint camera and the last time I will ever recommend a Spypoint camera.

Everything about my experience sucks! The cameras, the costs, the customer service is the WORST with ZERO respect for your time and effort. 3 cameras and 3 years and all for nothing but frustration.

I would do 0 stars but it wouldn’t let me. Do not use this company they will rob money from you like they did me and then say they can’t refund any money beyond 30 days so if you don’t catch it like me because you cancelled and did t think a company would steal from you 5 months of charges and they know it was being charged without consent.
I will be dragging there name through the mud and posting YouTube videos shaming them they will regret stealing from me!

I own 2 LTE micro lites and a flex M spypoint camera. After my last update both LTE cameras now continuously take pictures until the battery dies or my plan is used up. They will not warranty even though they worked fine until the last update. So they talked me into getting a flex M. I should have known better 1 month after warranty it doesn't work. And the solar panel I got for it the port for cable melted. I used it for 6 months and they wont warranty. I will never buy spypoint again. The hoops they make you jump through to warranty something is not worth the time. I have been notified they are requesting more information in the reply they sent but I have not actually received any contact information or direct message from spypoint. I also refuse to spend 3 hours on the phone trouble shooting with them when they ask me to put fresh batteries in and make sure I turn it on. 3 times they asked me to remove batteries and try to turn it on again. I said if you ask me 1 more time to take the batteries out to trouble shoot I am done with this conversation. They asked me a 4th time to try again, I hung up. I will no waste my time dealing with them for warranty when they constantly give you the run around. I would rather take 5 minutes to write an honest review of the horrible product and even worse warranty.

I own almost a dozen of these cell trail cameras and I purchased them so I could use the same platform to view the footage in one place and only use one app. Well everything the cameras seem to fall short on reliability. When I contacted customer service to find out the issue they would always say that it was my sd card and that it had to be a certain one with a certain speed and every time they would ask what brand of card I was using and then say yes there is an issue with that certain brand of card. But if you read in the owners manual it does not state anywhere in it what specific sd card to use nor does it say that if you dont use this kind then it will result in camera failure. Dont waste your money on these crooks.

i had a major problem with 2 cameras. Customer service couldn't help. I posted here and Spypoint responded. We worked together to determine a solution that works for both of us. They went out of their way to ensure that I was satisfied. In general their cameras work well, their plans are good and reasonably priced, customer service is always very polite and helpful. I can't give them 5 stars, but they deserve 4 for sure.

This camera is advertised as waterproof. Absolute lies. Camera leaked and contacted Spy Point. Was advised to bring camera home and dry out.60 euro SD card ruined along with 30 euro lithium batteries. Dried out camera. Was told to put new SD card (60euro) and new batteries (30euro) into camera. Did so and camera was working in my apartment. Put the camera back into the countryside and bought a new transmission plan (84 euro) . No pictures came in . Went to move the camera to a new location and opened the camera and it was full of water. Camera completely fried. Told to dry camera again and new card and batteries. Remember it's cost me 200 euro In SD cards and batteries. New batteries and no power light on the camera. Contacted Spy Point. Told me it's water resistant not waterproof after telling me in a previous message it was waterproof. Then had the check to issue me a partial refund on the transmission plan that I had purchased on the same day the camera leaked. In total it cost me 430 euro for a camera that's now fried from water damage. It was my son's Xmas present last year. Only a year old. This camera on numerous occasions would not download videos upon request on the app. When contacted Spy Point said the video would be on the SD card. Not true. Took SD card out of camera and took to camera shop Harvey Norman. They said nothing on the card. Won't replace camera. Was told to contact shop I bought from. Only advice but stay away from this camera. Very bad experience. Have other trail cams and no troubles. Just another word of caution. No GPS on this camera or pin lock. So just an update 😱 Spy- Point have just rang me and asked me to explain again what the issue is with the camera. Did so and to my amazement they told me to contact Conns camera's in Dublin where I bought the camera online. It's not Conn's Cameras fault it's Spy-Point faulty camera. Here is the kicker. Will replace the camera in Canada and make America great again, but not in Europe 🤔. They also said if Conn's camera's replace the camera they will give me 2 months free transmission plan🙈 worth 20 euro. This has cost me 440 euro between the camera, micro SD cards and batteries. Do not waste your money on a spy point if you are going to be treated like this. I know what 'Conns camera's will say🙈 contact spy point. What a joke offering a customer 20 euro free transmission plan on a camera that they hope Conn's camera's will replace. You have been warned ✌️

This company is off the charts bad. I purchased their Flex - M camera. I didn't work. Spent literally six hours on their 'support chat' and what a waste of time. They seem very amateurish with their questions and answers. For example, they say they got onto my app remotely. The app is supposed to analyse the camera and give full details of the health of the camera - battery level, size of the SD card, cellular reception etc. Yet they asked me what all this was! I said 'Look on the app' and they say "oh yes, sorry'. Stuff like that. Then they asked me to make a video for them so that they could see what was happening, so I did. I uploaded the link to Youtube to make it easy for them. Sent them the video link. This was not enough. They wanted me to send them the original video file. This I did, but it was too big for them to accept. On and on it went. I wasted 6 hours of my time with them. I asked them to compensate me by upgrading to a better camera. They said they couldn't do this because they couldn't ship to NZ. Yet there is a shop in Auckland NZ which sells all their cameras. So I asked how they got the cameras to this shop? They said this was 'confidential'. I asked them if they were doing anything 'illegal' which is when they shut down the chat.

Just got off the phone with a customer service supervisor (kander, skander or something) refused to give me his last name/full name. This was the 4th time I’ve tried getting this camera repaired/replaced. 2 times on chat and 2 phone conversations. Background is I have two cameras both FlexSDark, a yearly subscription and a monthly unlimited subscription on each camera. One camera works great the other worked for a little while now won’t charge, won’t turn on and has no lights. I’ve spent a lot of time trying to get them to fix it and now I’m being asked for a video. I’ve spent my hard earned money on a camera that won’t work and I’ve spent too much time on the phone with them trying to get someone to make it right. I know this isn’t the place for it but the last one I talked to would not send me to anyone else. I was told “the customer is not always right and he would be the last one I talked to”. I just want my camera fixed.

Purchased these cameras (TwoFLEX-S-DARK) for surveillance on my remote camp. Sometimes an image takes hours to be received on my cell phone. By then the thieves have filled their van with anything valuable and are long gone. Even when the camera is in the same room as my phone and i request an "Instant" image, it still takes hours. Useless!

Checked out my g36, its a year old no longer works transmitting pictures on there plan but went to see if the game cam still took and recorded pictures to the SD card. It does not. Ill get a new card and try it, only 1 yr old...disappointed. stay tuned

The firmware update disabled my cameras. They more or less told me I just needed to buy new cameras. I fought with them for weeks over it and they sent me a new G36. I refuse to pay a monthly plan with this company so I just get the 100 free photos every month. The pictures and flash range pale in comparison to the tactacam cameras I bought instead. Tactacam has been really good to me for two years now. Spypoint is an absolute rip off!

Spypoint is turning their older cell links into bricks. I have three that won't connect to a cell tower recently. One was working as recently as October 22. Activated in 2022. I put fresh batteries in it and decided to update. Big mistake. Went to their website for a software update. Well, revision 4 is gone and revision 1 is the only update available. I have bought 12, that is right, 12 cell links and this is how they treat loyalty. Time to move on.

I have used SPYPOINT for 4 years now. I love the fact that they use the strongest carrier to send videos and pictures versus having to buy individual subscriptions with Verizon AT&T, etc. like with many other cameras. The image quality is very good and the connectivity I have found to be better than that on my Verizon iPhone. I also like the fact I can pay month-to-month for unlimited pictures and cancel that when I have several months I won’t be using the cameras. They have held up to the environment very well and I think are well worth the price.
Forgot to mention that this is review for FLEX, FLEX-G-36 and FLEX-M. Have not used any others.
The SPYPOINT link micro versions will take one photo then turn off.
The app where my cameras are registered on give me the manual for the new model of another line. Not my registered cameras.
Their customer service asks for way too much info before allowed into the chat, then the bot or person asks for all of your personal information again and will not provide service unless they get it.
I asked what my full name, address, email, cell number, date of birth has to do with why my camera shuts off after one photo. They never replied back.
Oh, I forgot to say, you can not reach customer service through the app. You have to go to their website.
I would not recommend these cameras. I purchased 2 Flex-S cameras for my camp 2 hours away in June 2024. The have updated their firmware several times that requires me to drive to the site to do updates to get the cameras working again. The on-line chat support is useless. They try to get you off the chat as fast as possible and blame me for the firmware issue. They don't understand backwards compatibility. I will not renew my insider club membership.
Don't bother with the LM2, despite their claims, my expeirence is that that the image quality is appalling compared to the old Link Microl LTE
