Great Learning Experience with Room for More Practical Application

The course was a valuable learning experience, with a good balance between theoretical concepts, practical exercises, and real-world examples. The interactive approach made it easier to understand how Scrum principles can be applied in everyday situations.

One area for improvement would be to dedicate more time to practical scenarios and case studies, particularly around challenging situations that Scrum Masters may face in real teams. Some topics also felt a little rushed, and having more time for discussion and questions would make the learning experience even stronger.

Overall, I found the course useful and engaging, and I would recommend it to anyone looking to strengthen their understanding of Scrum and Agile practices.

I am grateful for the learning…

I am grateful for the learning experiences I have with scrum alliance. I am just wondering how I can get into an agile or scrum framework career given where I am at: MBA and Master of Science from Northeastern Univ in Boston, MA and thirty years of experience as a fund accountant in the financial services industry along with my CAF and CSM certifications.

Strengthening Collaboration with Expectation Mapping…

The session was practical and insightful, highlighting how unspoken expectations often lead to team misalignment. I especially liked the focus on defining outcomes, roles, and the "definition of done" upfront. The expectation mapping framework provides actionable techniques that can be applied immediately in Scrum teams. Overall, it was an engaging and valuable learning experience.

A $1,200 cash grab for basic information you can read online

Paid over $1,200 for the Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) course. The two days were mostly icebreakers and basic slides that offered nothing beyond the free 14-page Scrum Guide. To top it off, they force you to pay $100 every two years just to keep your badge active. It’s a recurring revenue trap targeting people who just need a keyword on their resume.

Hello Juan,

Thank you for providing your honest feedback about your course experience, although we're sorry to hear it didn't meet your expectations.

All Scrum Alliance trainers face rigorous screening to ensure that the delivery of course materials is at the highest standards possible. This assures that all trainers with Scrum Alliance are skilled enough to provide exceptional and engaging training experiences. With that in mind, we'd like the opportunity to learn more from you about what could've been improved and why you felt the course didn't offer anything beyond what is covered in the Scrum Guide. Our contact email address is support@scrumalliance.org.

As far as the renewal fee, this also provides access to exclusive membership benefits in addition to the certification renewal, such as the Scrum Master Personal Improvement Tool from Comparative Agility, discounts for Rally and Harvard Business Review, and more. There is also the Scrum Education Unit (SEU) require that requires certificate holders to validate their continuous learning with scrum/agile every two years.

Thank you again for taking the time to share your review, and we're eager to learn more from you about what could've been improved in your course.

Excellent Learning Experience

The learning platform was easy to use, and the course content was well structured and practical. I completed the Agile Essentials and AI for Product Owners courses, both of which provided valuable insights that complement my professional development. Overall, a very positive learning experience, and I would recommend Scrum Alliance to professionals looking to strengthen their Agile knowledge.

AI-gility

15 years of association with Scrum Alliance (SA) since my Scrum Master certification in 2011. As a proud member, I have gone on to become a CSP-PO following their structured certification path and now an aspiring Agile coach. In today's world of AI, SA is right there with their AI micro-credentials, preparing us to be better Agile professionals to leverage and combine the power of AI with the magic of Agility. The community, resources, training providers, courses, certification paths and support is a blessing for my product management career and it is a privilege to be a member. Truly fostering AI-gility. Thank you SA, keep up the great work!

AI & Agility: A comprehensive Introduction

I enjoyed the AI & Agility: A comprehensive Introduction course. The course emphasized the importance of working with AT technology while maintaining the humanity of the individuals. It is very comprehensive. I suggest the AI for Scrum Master micro-credential for those who would like to get more information on AI and Scrum Masters. I would recommend this course. The instructor was knowledgeable. The on-demand course made it easy to review at your own pace.

My experience with the Scrum Alliance…

My experience with the Scrum Alliance has been very positive and influential to my career as a Scrum Masterm The training provided practical Agile knowledge, strong collaboration principles, and real-world application that I continue to use across enterprise programs and cross-functional teams. I completed my ACSM certification through David and genuinely enjoyed his teaching style. his sessions were engaging, practical, and collaborative. I also appreciated the ongoing Scrum Master forums he hosted for professionals to exchange insights and experiences, which added value beyond the certification itself.
