I purchased a Mini PC

I purchased a Mini PC, but unfortunately, the ports were non-functional. After contacting the manufacturer, I was directed to Mwave for further assistance. However, their suggestions did not resolve the issue, leading to weeks of frustration. When I followed up, Mwave advised me to return the PC, which I did, and I requested a refund that the manufacturer approved. Despite having the computer for two months, Mwave seems to be stalling on processing the refund, citing a policy against refunds after six months while ignoring the fact that they have had the device for a significant portion of that time. I am thoroughly appalled by their conduct and remain resolute in my pursuit of a refund for the computer.

Would not purchase from again

I purchased a monitor from Mwave which developed an obvious display fault within 3 days of receiving it. The fault appeared to be internal to the panel and was clearly visible in the photographs I provided.

While Mwave ultimately agreed to assess the monitor and covered the return freight costs, the process was far more burdensome than I expected for a product that was faulty almost immediately after delivery.

As a regional customer, I was required to source suitable packaging for a large fragile monitor, arrange its return, and be without the product while it underwent assessment. The original packaging had already been discarded following installation, which I would expect is a common situation for many customers.

What disappointed me most was the lack of practical customer support. Despite providing photographs of an apparently obvious fault shortly after receiving the monitor, I was repeatedly advised that the monitor had to be returned and inspected before any remedy could be considered. There appeared to be little consideration given to the inconvenience this created.

I chose Mwave because of its reputation as a reliable and trustworthy retailer. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet those expectations. A warranty process may exist on paper, but when the time and effort required to return a low-value faulty product becomes disproportionate to the value of the item itself, the customer experience suffers significantly.

I will not be purchasing from Mwave again.

Confusing site, bad service

Super confusing website that is so outdated with very little helpful information and product details that would confuse even the best enterprise procurement teams. Had an issue and staff just blamed me for it without really accepting that they are partly to blame too

"7 business days, two broken 'shortly' promises, still no dispatch

Ordered an ASUS ROG Crosshair X870E Hero motherboard (order SO03154479) on 18/08/2026. Seven business days later, it was still sitting on "Processing" with no ETA showing.

I contacted support and spoke with Arian Nable, who said the order would be escalated to the warehouse for dispatch. Nothing happened. I followed up again the next day and spoke with Harley, who apologised and said they'd "follow up with the warehouse shortly." Over two hours later — with chat now offline — still no update, no email, no tracking, nothing.

This board was essential for a build I was actively putting together, and the lack of any concrete answer after a week (let alone two separate escalations) is what pushed me to request a full refund and buy elsewhere. If you're ordering something time-sensitive, be aware their "Processing" status can drag on indefinitely with little real communication behind it.

Where to start?

Where to start? They've taken my money and new fulfilled the order. Looks like they went into liquidation last year and are still partially running under a new company. No responses to emails, contact centres were outsourced to a Philippines contractor. I'm one of many by the looks of it.

Give Mwave a Big miss!

* If you want slow delivery choose Mwave.

* If you want very poor customer support - particularly on returns, choose Mwave.

* If you want returns to not be accepted if you choose "Change of Mind or Incorrect Purchase claims" choose Mwave.

* Feedback from Mwave on attempted return after choosing "Change of Mind or Incorrect Purchase claims" see below for their response:

"Hi Andrew,

Thank you for contacting Mwave's After Sales & Warranty Team.

Please note that as of October 20th 2025, Mwave is not obligated to accept a return for Change of Mind or Incorrect Purchase claims. As such, we're unable to approve this for return at this time.

We appreciate your understanding.

Kind Regards, Mwave Customer Care"

All in all give Mwave a BIG MISS, not an honest or reputable supplier.

Two week "Processing"

Purchased and paid for an instock product, currently 12 days later and the order is still "Processing". Doesnt even register an invoice. No responses to a ticket for a week.
Definitely foolish to have paid for express delivery...

Horrible! Dont buy from here

Horrible! ordered maintenance box for Epson printer, two weeks in no message or anything when reached out they say its still processing and can't cancel order. They should have mentioned not in stock or cancel order if they can't deliver, never using this site again. No reply on instant messaging services.

Pleasantly suprised

Ordered a Maxsun H610 ITX motherboard. Yeah, I read all the reviews on Mwave before I purchased it, so I was a bit skeptical but went with it anyway. To my suprise it actually showed up at my door within a week so I was pretty happy. Perhaps I was lucky?

Never shopping with Mwave again

If I could give 0 stars I would.
Ordered a server rack (marked as in stock) for pickup, order sat on processing for a week.
Called the following Friday, spoke with Josh who apologized and explained that the product had been allocated to me, he's added a note to the order and to come in and collect it any time.

Came in the next day, told the warehouse needs to go get it, i'll have to wait 30 minutes, ended up waiting about 40 minutes to then be told that they can't find it, nothing they can do.
Explained that I had to travel an hour each way and ensured I called prior to avoid this exact situation. Can they ship it once it comes in.
Said he'd call his manager and see if they can comp shipping due to the mix up. "Sorry, nothing we can do"

Completely useless and a waste of time, I wasted fuel, tolls and ute hire to collect my order.
I understand if somethings not in stock, but I physically called and was told it was ready to be picked up. I will never shop with mwave again.

Ordered 28/7/26. Emailed 3/8/26 by submitting a job ticket via their website as I had not received any tracking details. No response. Today is the 6/8/26 and still no response I’ve lodged a dispute with my bank. Dodgy company

Paid in May, Delivered in August: The Worst Customer Service Experience I've Ever Had

placed an order on 13 May 2026 and did not receive it until 4 August 2026, almost three months later.

While delays can happen, the real issue was Mwave's complete lack of communication and accountability throughout the process between their customer service team and operations. I had to repeatedly chase updates via lodged tickets and multiple phone calls, often receiving no response, or waiting for one for weeks at a time. On multiple occasions I was told the matter had been escalated or that dispatch was imminent, only for nothing to happen.

Throughout the process I was given conflicting information about the status of my order. At one point, Mwave advised they could not locate part of the order in their warehouse and offered a full refund while still supplying the goods. Despite this promise, I am still having to chase the refund separately.

Over the course of the order I lodged numerous complaints, sent multiple follow-up messages and even requested management escalation due to the lack of progress and communication. Most updates only came after I contacted them first.

The order was eventually delivered, but only after approximately 83 days of delays, unanswered enquiries and broken commitments. The experience left me with very little confidence in Mwave's customer service, warehouse processes or ability to handle issues when things go wrong.

I've been a customer previously, but unfortunately this was by far the worst retail experience I have had with any company. I cannot recommend Mwave based on this experience and would suggest to anyone looking to purchase from them, to look at alternative options.

Never buy from here or you WILL regret it

Sent me ram sticks which were dead on arrival, the returns process has been absolutely abysmal. extremely long wait times, non existent communication and horrible customer service. Do not buy from this place ever, unless you want to experience a warranty claim process so difficult and painful that it's borderline a crime

this is honestly just ridiculous

this is honestly just ridiculous. bought two items roughly 12 days ago now and still havent received anything. tried to get support from an employee and all i was faced with was an ai who told me to "leave details for a staff member to look at later" which never ends up happening. blow a random amount of money for shipping and other unneeded costs just to have no contact from the place nor any information on where my package is. 1/10. wouldnt buy from here again, the only "good thing" about this place is the "cheap" items but you dont end up saving any money from them due to the delivery costs. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE

Bought some graphics card over a month…

Bought some graphics card over a month ago, zero update to tracking for 3 weeks. Asked MWave to look into it and get it sorted. Haven't heard from them in over 2 weeks despite sending 4 follow up messsages.

This has to be the worst service I've ever experienced. Steer clear.

Ordered 2 x 27 inch monitors Paid $100 extra for express, took these useless idiots 4 days to process and then send the items after I had emailed to find out why they weren't dispatched. They dispatched them the same day through StarTrack It has now been 7 days and still no arrival. How Is that express post Mwave????????? I will never purchase from you again. I would give zero stars If I could.

Be aware of their policy (no refund)

The customer service is close to non-existent. I am not sure why they still have a high rating. First, I called the number and opted for a call back. They called me back for a nano-second and hung up. I called them again and after the long wait, they told me nobody was available and they would like to call me back. So, do they actually want to talk to a customer at all on the phone? I would not bother phone calling if they properly respond to online requests. Online customer service is patchy at best.

Edit:
After 10 days of the "processing" status , i.e. "the product has not arrived at the office yet" according to them, and nearly non-communication, when I asked them about the return, refund and exchange, they got in touch with me all of sudden and told me that actually they already had the product, and they quickly shipped the product the next day! Wow, THAT was fast. The lesson for me and all the potential customers is that this business really never accepts return or refund, once you order it and they get your money. After that, there will be a long wait period of waiting time like 2 weeks until shipping. I buy things online but I have never experienced such an unreasonable dealing.
