REALLY COOL TRIKE!!!

The lanyard in the pet carrier broke on our first trip. Mooncool was to send me an email to send a photo of the broken part but I never received such an email. It’s such a critical part. Luckily I was traveling at a low speed when it snapped and my poor dog took a header.

I like the product very much. I didn’t like that it was shipped USPS. You said it would ship in 2-10 days it took just about 1 month to receive my order.

Website was easy to use and up front on price for everything. Only thing that would help is if there was something to help with each state laws.

I'm 3 months now trying to get a part number and a price they will not call me back they don't sell any chains for their product. This is the dumbest company I think I've ever had to deal with. Sales and parts people are idiots never buy from here they will not repair their product or sell parts

I've tried 3 different kinds of bikes and this is the 1 my wife loves. I've enjoyed a few rides myself. This unit is sturdy and stable. Excellent engineering and quality features.

My MOONCOOL trike only lasted 15 months and then the motor bearings died. I can’t find a bike shop that is willing to fix it. Therefore $1500 wasted.

My Wife & I have been active Bicyclist, however at age 81, the both of us decided that was our choice to purchase Mooncool TK2 Pro Trikes. I've had my Mooncool FT1 for about 2 weeks now, and am totally happy with it! It was delivered within a week of ordering, and I didn't find it at all difficult to put together--it took about 1-1/2 hours! The only thing I would suggest changing is the way the fenders are attached: The front fender and its mount is not rigid, and it's easy to bend the fender out alignment so it touches the wheel. The rear fender installation would go a lot easier if the bolts were about 1/4" longer! The instructions show the bolts going from inside to out, buy my big fingers couldn't get in there to put on the nuts--so instead I pushed the bolts through from the outside--but the bolts were still so short it was hard to get the nuts started. Other than those minor issues, it was great!

The trike is well and solidly built, looks awesome, and is waaaay fun to ride! It gets up to speed rapidly, even without pedaling which is important to me because of leg weakness. (My physical therapist suggested that an E-trike would be good for me, and I gotta agree!!!) I've found that I can ride to my heart's content, pedaling a while for exercise then resting while the motor takes over so I can keep on going! I have to admit, though, that my bicycle instinct to lean into the curves made my first foray a little iffy. You have to remember to turn the handlebars instead of just leaning! (I've got to get hold of my wife's phone and destroy those videos of my first ride!) All is good now, though--I found that pushing my back against the backrest helped anchor me and get over my initial awkwardness when turning.

All in all, I think that my purchase of the FT-1 was a wise decision that I made only after days of on-line comparison. I have no regrets, in fact my wife and I are seriously thinking about getting another one (different color, of course) so she can accompany me on my rides.
