The cold chain was not respected.

I placed an order from you a few weeks ago. The package arrived without ice or the minimum amount of preservatives. The cake and other sweets arrived completely melted. The cold chain was not respected. The sweets were all melted, yet they contained milk, so they are delicate products. I threw everything away. I sent two emails, yet you never respond.

Undelivered order and no response/refund

I ordered 8 macaroons for a friend's birthday well in advance. They were not delivered. On trying to contact Laduree via there contact form, multiple emails and even ringing one of their outlets, I have had no response. £42.95 for 8 macaroons that were not delivered. Would avoid this company. Mistakes happen but to not respond at all over the course of a month is theft.

As a long-time fan of premium…

As a long-time fan of premium patisseries, I am truly disappointed by my recent experience with Ladurée UK. I purchased the chocolate fondant cake from Harrods Knightsbridge expecting a soft, moist, high-quality 70% dark chocolate dessert the kind of product you would pay a premium for from a brand like Ladurée. Instead, what we received was dry, bitter, and almost burnt-tasting on top. It was unpleasant to eat, and none of us could enjoy what should have been a highlight of our afternoon.

To make matters worse, I have reached out multiple times via email to customer services, salesuk Laduree, and Harrods Laduree with no response whatsoever. For a luxury brand that charges over £30 for a single cake, lack of basic customer care and quality control is unacceptable.

I now compare this experience to brands like Pierre Hermé UK, whose cakes are consistently fresher, more flavourful, and backed by responsive customer service. It is baffling that Ladurée with its reputation and price point would deliver a product of this standard and then ignore customer feedback.

If Ladurée wants to maintain any credibility in the luxury patisserie market, it must improve both its product quality and how it treats customers who take the time to reach out when something goes wrong.

Bad communication.

When you are ordering for a celebration, in this case Christmas, it’s not good enough to not be crystal clear about ordering from dates (can’t order before a week before, but turns out I could?!) and the ambiguous ‘desired’ delivery date. I then received the shipment notification 4 days before the day I would expect to receive it (ie the day before delivery date). There is no phone number to call, and emails go unanswered. I then sent a complaint email to the only other Laduree email address I could find. Only then did I get a reply claiming ‘your messages only just appeared in our system’. Then they did not explain properly about the delivery date again and I had to ask again?! They finally explained that they generated the dispatch label in advance of the actual shipping day triggering the dispatch emails. How is the customer meant to know that?! This was too much hassle and I won’t order from Laduree again. The cake better be good after all this.

Best Macarons in the world!

Delicious desserts/pastries! Their macarons are the best in the world I have tasted so far. Just back from Paris and I am filled with Laduree pastries to last me a few days. I really wish they open a shop in the north UK sometime soon.

Awful customer service

This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I ordered two items, 2 weeks before my mums birthday. Only one arrived and when I emailed for the second item to be delivered aapa they replied to dya it was out of stock. They agreed to send an alternative but this never happened. I have emailed countless times and been promised a reply from a manage but received nothing. It has now been almost a month and I still haven't even received a refund for the out of stock items.
