Hired the 2 person festival package in late july. Pick-up was reasonably straightforward and communication was good initially. Unfortunately, things took a turn once we discovered a hole in the mattress after setting everything up.
While Outzip was initially responsive, they didn't provide any meaningful assistance in actually resolving the issue. This left us at a festival with one completely flat mattress and no practical alternative other than sleeping on the ground.
We ended up paying an exorbitant amount to have a replacement mattress brought in ourselves. We were told that the original mattress would be refunded and that the replacement mattress would also be compensated if returned to them at the end. The original faulty mattress hire has since been refunded, but more than 25 days later, the replacement mattress has still not been paid for, and the vendor has now stopped responding.
The tents themselves were good, but unfortunately, it seems that when something goes wrong, the support falls away pretty quickly.
Based on this experience, I unfortunately wouldn't recommend Outzip which is a shame as if they were just a bit more proactive the experience would have been alot better.
The delivery of the sleeping bags was on time. The quality of the sleeping bags was excellent, I slept wonderfully in them. The return shipment was also smooth. On our next trip, we will use the service of Outzip again and we have already recommended the company to others.
