Horrible company

Horrible company. No customer service. The technician caused damage to my property while unprofessionally installing the WiFi equipment. I have called for a resolution over 12 times and the rude customer service agents will talk over you raise their voice the. Hang up on the call. I have repeatedly requested a supervisor and they refuse to, I have cancelled my service if my two properties.

Jazztel/Orange – WARNING This is a company who has taken advantage of me as a disabled person.

CEO - Christel Heydemann

11th February 2026

Dear Christel Heydemann

REF: ‘Trust Pilot’ Jazztel/Orange – WARNING This is a company who has taken advantage of me as a disabled person.

Please register this letter as a complaint
My name is Michael ******.
I have a mental health condition.
I suffer from severe memory loss.
This means that I do no remember things for very long.
I have to use alternatives as a substitute for my ‘memory’.
I use Post-It Notes, printouts of emails, letters and lots of To-Do Lists and TECHNOLOGY.

Everyday, I go through my ‘lists’ and try to do the things that are remaining.

To achieve this, I need things that are tangible, that I can see, feel and touch to remind me to do things, this does not mean I am stupid or unintelligent and physically I am very fit, I just have a very short-term memory condition which I endeavour to manage using many methods including technology; e.g. Dictaphones, recorders, tablets and computers act as my long-term memory.

Mobile technology is also very important for me because it acts as my ‘Mobile Memory’ when I am out in the world.

Easy to see links on my mobile include things like:
• Who am I? (details about who I am, name, age, family etc)
• Names (Who should I know but might not recognise)
• Today (What am I doing today)
• Money (Daily balance of an funds I can access)
• Emergency (Options in case of an emergency)
(I also have physical items in case of an emergency for when I loose of damage my mobile)

My Mobile - I cannot use the ‘telephone’ like an ‘ordinary person’ would because I simply would not remember anything that has been said, so I never answer my mobile.

(Incidentally, for identification purposes only, my mobile number is Spanish Mobile – *************)
Mobile companies that have dealt with me in the past know ALL this information. They appreciate that I cannot use a mobile like other people, for example:
IF SOMEONE SPEAKS TO ME ON THE PHONE, I DO NOT REMEMBER ANYTHING THAT HAS BEEN SAID A FEW MINUTES LATER.

So, now you know a little about me, let’s talk about Jazztel & Orange.

They know this information about my disability, because they have been told from the outset.

They know I have no use for ‘telephony’ (making or receiving calls) but I do need to be able to have mobile data to access things like maps, translators etc.

But recently in January 2026, my bill dramatically increased.

For a long time, my monthly bill was under 40 euros
Now it is €62.15, over 33% increase!

I was told I needed extra data and it would cost me less than 10 euros,

But I do not believe I needed any extra data.
I do not believe I have ever exceeded my data allowance?

I do not understand what happened and why my bill has gone from below €40 a month to €62.15 and I have been unable to write to Jazztel/Orange and they do not supply an email contact on their websites that I can find.

ACTION PLAN
1. I will change supplier & number in February 2026
2. I will post this on Trustpilot to make other people aware of how they too might be impacted if they cannot use a mobile telephone in the traditional sense (Deaf, dumb, cognitive memory conditions etc.)
3. I will write to the CEO of Orange, Christel Heydemann, in France and request that Jazztel/Orange contact me by letter and answer the following:
a. The details of the deal I was on before any data increase.
b. What date did that original deal start.
c. How many times, if any, I exceeded my data allowance.
d. How do I return the original router.

Summary
Just because I have a mental health memory condition does not mean I am stupid. I expect my questions t be answered in writing, by letter and arrangements to be made to collect the Jazztel/Orange router.

I request a FULL REFUND of any additional moneys taken from my bank account that I need not have paid for data I did not need and €7.45 for the postage for this letter to the CEO, Christel Heydemann, in France.

Thank you

Michael ******

PS. Please Note: I use this number ************* for EMERGENCIES ONLY for ME to dial family if I am trouble. You may use it to identify my account only please.

Stay far away from Orange/Jazztell!

Stay far away from Orange/Jazztell!! We purchased internet service from them and paid every month for four months without them ever getting it to work!! We eventually had to cancel the contract, and now we are fighting with them because they claim we cancelled it prematurely, and therefore they have sent us a €150 penalty!! The whole thing has cost us €200 and a terrible amount of frustration in emails, time, and frustration!! We have never experienced anything this bad before!

Absolute scammer

Absolute scammer. Stay away from this company, they are there to rob you, seriously. Trust the other reviews, it's all true: months after closing any pending issue with them (and this only would require a full negative review) they are still trying to charge me for a pending payment completely invented. Seriously stay away from this shit

FRUSTRATING!

FRUSTRATING!! SO FRUSTRATING!!
It was all good until I was charged incorrectly after I had already cancelled my plan, and the refund just took months and months. I had to contact them so many times and get information checked so many times. They said the refund will be made in 30 days (who takes 30 days for a refund?!), and still it took much longer than that. The refund didn't even happen all at once; it came in by bits. I really felt like they were intentionally testing my patience, and really didn't want to refund me the charges as they really dragged it out so long for months! Also, they don't read my messages properly, so I have to repeat myself and send the same information again and again. They do not answer all my questions, but just selectively answer the ones convenient for them.

Jazztel is the most frustrating company iv worked with my internet has been down since December and im still waiting for an engineer iv also tried to cancel my contract several times the shop we purchased the contract from is not interested unless we change to a new contract with orange. We have been out of contract since August last year im getting the point of travelling to Madrid to try cancelling my contract from there main offices. My advice is do not sign up to this company they push you from pillar to post when trying to cancel

A shameful company

Our experience with them has been one disappointment after another. They charged us higher prices than those defined in our contract. We complained, and they didn’t issue a full refund. A couple of months later, they did it again. We complained again, and they told us we had added an extra phone line—something we never requested. They added it without our permission and charged us for it. When we confronted them, they said they would remove it the following month but wouldn’t refund our money (again).

We’ve had many more issues where they deliberately hid key information and tried to overcharge us. Not to mention how incredibly difficult they made it for us to leave the company.

It’s a company of liars, a company of thieves. A disgrace of a company.

Calling all the time

First they told us, that they would cancel automatically our old phones, but it turns out we end up to pay for two companies for a while only using one! 🤬
I should have changed that time, but I’m here a year after, and now got enough of them call almost every day to offer me something! Also I asked them 50 times to call my boyfriend who speaks Spanish, and they never change that info in their system and keeps calling me even though I tell them to leave me alone!
Not a fan!

The worst

worst customer service
worst web page
worst everything
They don't even have the page running properly. I tried to change the owner for the internet bill and they have this form that you have to complete. The buttons are not working, nothing is working, but guess what, they will charge 5eur. I've sept 1h doing it over and over again.
I will definitely analize other companies

Lied and misrepresented a contract total and wider deal. Now locked into 24 month contract - I didn't agree to such shocking terms. Shocking customer service and terrible experience across the board. Would leave if I could but I'm stuck.

Don't even think about joining this company

You are unlikely to ever escape them. They ignore your cancellation requests, insist that you transfer the contract and then load unjustified invoices with extra 'collection' charges. I wanted to make a complaint, but was told that if my account was cancelled (which I finally got them to do after months of trying), I could not make a formal complaint. This is THE WORST kind of business.

Absolutely horrendous company. With the worst possible customer service. I have spent a total of 5 days trying to have jazztel carry out my simple request of cancelling my service with them. First they tried to get me to stay, in every way possible. Then after 5 HOURS of writing back and forth and me telling them to just cancel my service because I am moving continents, they proceeded to not help in finding a way to solve my dilemma of moving overseas before my contract ended, and therefore not being able to return my modem to Orange. They said I had to find someone else in Spain to return it for me, and that I could not return it early. Additionally, when I explained to the customer service rep online that I was not going to be able to login to my jazztel account in Australia, nor was I going to be able to receive the code that I need to return the modem, their solution to me "buy a VPN"! Absolutely outrageous. We live in a globalised world where people and customers are constantly moving abroad, and those travellers need telecommunication companies that have systems and alternative processes setup to support them...like, hmm...mahbe simply having a code to return a modem sent to the customer's email address instead of their defunct Spanish sim! These problems coild be soeasily resolved with a very small amount of proper human centred design. Noone in jazztel nor Orange speaks English (the global professional language) so I could not resolve my problems with anyone on the phone. Then, after all this, I receive a text message completely out of the blue that a new wifi installation technician is coming to install my home Internet service! I never ever asked for this. So the jazztel online "customer service" person tells me that I have to fix their mistake by speaking with the technician. The customer service person then proceeded to guess that maybe they are coming to fix something. Instead of the Customer service person doing their due diligence and even investigating the matter, they just took a wild guess at something that was completely unfounded and false. So i then had to find someone to speak to the Orange staff and cancel whatever work order they had. Then after I did this, the customer service person said to me online "oh in this instance, I can submit a report to Orange to tell them". Why make me so angry and upset by saying you wont help me, and then then around and say "ok just this one time I'll help". Absolutely disgraceful service. As a customer service consultant myself, and human centred design business strategist, I am shocked at how bad this company treats its customers. The lack of process improvement, the lack of interest from anyone in the company to actually listen to and solve customer issues...horrendous. Jazztel does less than the bare minimum for its customers who make this company very rich. If someone at Jazztel reads this, do not contact me. I have wasted enough of my time communicating with you. You have all the information you need, above. Go and fix it!

This is the worst company ever DO NOT I…

This is the worst company ever DO NOT I repeat DO NOT work with them. I spent 8 hours communicating with Jazztel España that I want to cancel my subscription and these people (Diana C and Maria M) kept on offering me an alternative option even though I communicated clearly that I’m not interested in any other service but they ignored my request and kept on offering more service. They do not respect clients wishes at all. I am emotionally drained all because I want to cancel my subscription that’s ridiculous
