I'd give zero stars if I could

I'd give zero stars if I could. This is an update to my previous review. IT HAPPENED AGAIN. Received an email saying my items were on the way (2nd attempt after a BS refund due to no stock well after I'd purchased the items) only to be followed up with a 'one of your items is out of stock'. Absolutely pull your head our of your own arlse IKEA NZ and figure out how to manage online shopping, picking and delivery.

extremely disappointed

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with IKEA. From start to finish, it has been a complete waste of time and effort.
It took a long time just to complete the purchase, and the store layout is confusing. Finding the collection area required walking through almost the entire first floor, with little clear direction.
The fold-out chair itself was of very poor quality. It arrived with dents and marks, and the upholstery was even stapled visibly to the outside of the chair. After spending around 1.5 hours assembling it, it became obvious the product was unacceptable.
Trying to arrange a refund was even worse. After waiting on the phone for around 1.5 hours, customer service told me I first had to join IKEA Family online before I could apply for a refund, then return the chair to the store. To make matters worse, I have to dismantle the chair myself, which will take another 40 minutes of my time.
To top it all off, the chair is now out of stock, and nobody can tell me if, when, or where a replacement will be available.
The entire experience has been frustrating, inconvenient, and incredibly time-consuming. Between purchasing, assembling, contacting customer service, dismantling the product, and now facing uncertainty over a replacement, I have wasted many hours because of a poor-quality product and an inefficient customer service process. This is not the level of quality or service I expected from IKEA.

Refund unresolved for over 2 months with inconsistent status updates

It has been more than 2 months since the refund was initiated, and the funds have still not been successfully returned.
The official status on the website was changed to “cancelled”, despite the refund being previously processed, which creates conflicting and unclear information about what actually happened.
Refund reference K2GT-CVVU and case number RCMP-10488206 relate to an unresolved issue that has still not been properly explained or closed.

I have been repeatedly calling and emailing staff, and I am either told that the issue is on my side and that the refund cannot be processed to my card—which has already been confirmed by my bank to be incorrect—or I am told that the matter will be resolved within 48 hours. This has been repeated for several weeks without any actual resolution.

What a useless place to buy bedding

What a useless place to buy bedding - no standard NZ sizes so expect your duvet inners to be too big/too small for your covers and vice versa. Complete waste of time - the least you can do if you want to really be a part of the scene is ensure you can supply sizing that fits. We don't need US or Euro sizing here - in case Ikea doesn't already know, THIS STORE IS IN NEW ZEALAND.
