It feels so good to be heard.

I was very nervous about going through this process. A friend of mine said look online for more affordable way to get through a divorce. I went through all the preliminary stages and found the initial process to be rather accommodating. No in office lawyer visits, no high costs, no questioning me on everything. The process from start to finish was super simple! you do have to fulfil your part and complete the necessary paperwork but all good and no worries there. It was all basic and easy step by step and they walk you through it. I worked with Jessica Fowler and she was a gem, keeping me updated on everything. I will be honest, I got impatient at times, but it was not hers or the company's fault. It basically is up to the courts to move along on this. We are at the mercy of the clerk's office and judges. Jessica kept me informed of everything and if there was a hiccup it was resolved by her immediately. I truly recommend Hello Divorce as your divorce specialist. They rock!!

At first, I tried to file for my uncontested divorce using a low-cost paid service with another company that provided all the forms I needed with bare minimum instructions. Their digital forms were hard to navigate and my initial submission of my petition to the courts was rejected. It was overwhelming, disappointing, and I had so many unanswered questions throughout the process. Then came Hello Divorce. I love their user-friendly online software, and all of a sudden, completing divorce documents became easy. I opted for the Pro Plan to have access to a form specialist (not a lawyer) who could answer any questions. It was much pricier than the basic service but reasonable compared to other services or hiring a lawyer. They handled the serving of papers and filed everything. As soon as I signed up for this package, my stress level went way down (so worth the cost!). This plan guarantees court acceptance. Courtney, my forms specialist, helped me throughout the whole process, and just a few days ago my divorce was finalized upon the first filing! Divorce in California is a long process because of the mandatory 6 month waiting period, and then after that there is still a good wait (about 3 months in my case) before the court makes a decision. Our divorce process has not been the easiest even though mostly amicable. We’ve unfortunately been passed around a few times due to staffing and had issues with our filings on multiple occasions. However, working with Raquel has been nothing short of amazing. Her communication, responsiveness, dedication, and customer service goes beyond measure. She stepped in and took over our account with grace. She was a wealth of knowledge and when she didn’t have the answer, she found someone that did. Getting a divorce is never an enjoyable process (for most) but working with Raquel made it so much more bearable. Although she had to hand our case off to another person for logistical reasons, I am so thankful she was there to step in when she did.

I found Hello Divorce in the early stages of needing divorce advice. Even though the process hadn’t been set up for my state yet, much of the generic content and the guide that I could purchase was very helpful for getting organized. Mine was a grey divorce, so it was less complicated from a legal and financial perspective than if I were younger with children. By the time the process for my state was available, I was ready to file. The state had a couple of items I needed to revise after filing, and my account coordinator and the system were able to respond quickly to make the changes in my documents. Hello Divorce’s staff, system and social media were a tremendous help throughout the process.

Out of the gate, this wasn’t a good experience. I followed all the steps and requested the free 15min consultation call. They sent texts and emails to keep reminding me of the call I had coming up and low and behold, NO ONE ever reached out and I never got my consultation so needless to say I was done with this place.

Charlene was nice and helpful but overall we were not clear about what we were buying. The “faster” divorce process took several months and a lot more paperwork, which was not what we were expecting.

my divorce was very difficult on many levels and hello divorce made it so much better and so much more manageable. I could’ve never filled out the paperwork without them.
