Lack of Transparency and Unfair Rejections
I have been looking for a rental property in the Lulea area through HomeQ and have faced rejection on nearly 10 applications. Although all my documents were properly submitted and complete, I have yet to receive any clear reason for these refusals. The responses I get are usually just that "the landlord makes the choice," which feels dismissive and unhelpful. This lack of clarity and support has put me in a very challenging position. As a renter, I believe it is reasonable to expect transparency regarding why applications are declined and to have a fairer, more open process. I strongly encourage HomeQ to improve communication and provide better assistance to applicants.

Great platform and easy to use. My only suggestion is to allow more than 5 active applications. The limit makes it harder to find a home, especially in a competitive market. Overall, a good service!

HomeQ is very user-friendly and easy to navigate. After collecting a reasonable number of points, you can start applying for apartments in your preferred areas, although your chances of being selected may still be limited.
However, once I signed up for HomeQ+, I gained much better insight into which apartments I had a realistic chance of being invited to view. This made the process much more efficient and helped me focus on the right opportunities.
As a result, I found my new apartment within just three months and was successful after only three viewings. For me, HomeQ+ was definitely worth it and made a real difference in the apartment search process.
