Nous proposons également une formule Premium optionnelle, qui permet notamment de recevoir les participations directement sur son compte bancaire, d’être totalement libre dans ses achats et, en Belgique, de bénéficier d’une carte Privilèges offrant des réductions chez de nombreuses enseignes partenaires. Nous faisons aussi le choix d’un vrai service client humain, disponible et réactif. Tout cela représente évidemment un coût.
Nous nous efforçons de proposer un tarif parmi les plus accessibles du marché, avec une transparence maximale à chaque étape.
Et il ne faut pas oublier qu’un service “entièrement gratuit” a souvent un autre modèle économique derrière, où les données ou l’utilisateur deviennent souvent (voir toujours) le produit.

Do not use kadolog, their payment system does not work.
Most of our guests were not able to buy gifts on the registry as they were not able to successfully make payments with their creditcards.
Very embarrassing.
This being a paid feature is even worse.
Customer service is of no help and stops replying

We see you are located in Singapore. Our platform is primarily designed for use in Europe, with payment and verification systems (such as 3D Secure or ItsMe) tailored to European banking standards. In some cases, especially for cards issued outside Europe (such as in Singapore), banks may apply stricter security rules or decline certain transactions as a precaution. Unfortunately, this is not something that depends solely on our system.
When this happens, alternative solutions are offered to participants, such as bank transfer or other available payment methods, to ensure gifts can still be completed.
Thank you again for your feedback, which helps us better clarify these limitations and improve our communication upfront.
Payments just not received
So many problems with online payment AND bank transfers that I will have to write a mail to a third of my guests to send them my bank id to receive their gifts.

Bonjour, merci d'avoir pris le temps de nous donner votre feedback. En effet, il semble qu'il y ait a eu des soucis avec les paiements en France (Kadolog na pas été la seule plateforme impactée) provenant du Crédit Agricole et LCL pendant plusieurs semaines. Wordline a réussi à résoudre le souci et à présent tout fonctionne. Ce souci de paiement fut totalement indépendant de notre volonté. Toutes les transactions financières sont gérées par des partenaires bancaires externes (pas par Kadolog) afin de garantir la sécurité des paiements.
SCAM
Feels like a scam... made the free list for our birth registry which should allow friends and family to order gifts and have them delivered to our address. No one was able to finalise their payment so I added the option for online payments since I figured this was the issue. After enabling online payments, it worked but in reality the money is just transferred to Kadolog and not to our bank account, and the gifts aren't ordered, but just reserved on the list. We then have to transfer the money from Kadolog to our own account, something that is only possible ONCE every SEVEN days and with a fee of 2,4% PER GIFT. Then with the money in my account, I have to go to the merchant and buy the gift myself? Make it make sense.
Not done, since after receiving 10 gifts my list was blocked and to unblock I had to upgrade to premium for another 30 euro. We actually lost money using Kadolog. I 100% advise against using Kadolog.

Friends and family can contribute to the gift amounts, and you’re free to buy them at any physical store or online shop of your choice. You have complete freedom. To accept VISA and MasterCard payments, we work with an external banking partner. You can also choose bank transfers, which are completely free of charge. You have received a total of 20 gifts through Kadolog and all of them have been paid. You have received the money on your bank account (the most recent transfer being on March 8, 2024). We don’t understand why you took the time to leave a review here when at no point you tried to contact us to address any issues. All our pricing is clearly displayed on our website, so there are no surprises, and you also received several emails informing you that by choosing the Premium options, you would need to pay 29 euros once you received your 10th gift. Absolute disaster for our wedding
Absolute disaster for our wedding - the transaction system does not work properly so HALF of our guests' transfer did not come through, but they wouldn't know unless they pay close attention to their bank account. This means we missed out on half of the generous gifts...
The customer service (or so called CEO) is extremely stubborn and does not look for improvement solutions. You'll be way better off paying a little extra for a platform that actually works!

If I could give a zero I would
If I could give a zero I would. Lots of our friends have made to effort to send us gifts through this website but maybe only 1 out of 10 were able to do so. The payment does not get through but we are still notified about receiving such gift and then the items gone from the registry. Worst website ever! On top of that it is not a free service, we had to pay 29euros

We are truly sorry to hear about your experience. Regarding the 21 gifts booked on your registry, we found that 3 individuals were unable to complete their payments. These individuals attempted to make payments from countries outside the EU (e.g., the Philippines). While rare, payments can occasionally be declined if the bank flags them as coming from a region with a higher fraud risk.

Too expensive for not such a return
It's convenient for friends living abroad and want to buy you stuff but had many issues with money transfers and bookings. Also, the 29EUR fee is a bit much for what the site offers plus there's a 2,4% commission fee for the online payments. I think you lose more than what you eventually gain from using the platform.
