Good prices, but reliability has become a serious issue

Flyadeal usually offers very competitive prices and a good range of flight times, which is why I’ve used them several times. However, since around mid-2026, I’ve noticed a significant increase in flight delays, rescheduling, and cancellations.

While occasional disruptions are understandable with any airline, the frequency has become concerning. Unfortunately, this has made flyadeal much less reliable, especially when you have connecting flights, important appointments, or other plans that depend on arriving on time.

I hope the airline addresses these operational issues, because the pricing and schedule options are genuinely good. But for now, I would think twice before booking if reliability is important for your trip.

Unprofessional service

I booked my tickets in July 2026 from the UK to travel from Jeddah to Riyadh with a return ticket in August 2026, but they changed my flight from Jeddah to Riyadh. As the new time is not suitable, I requested my refund. After that, I tried to call them; they kept me waiting for 10 minutes and disconnected the call, which happened 2 times. I am very disappointed with their unprofessional service. I would not suggest anyone book via them anymore.

My experience with flyadeal was they have unfair charges

My experience with flyadeal was extremely disappointing from start to finish.

I was charged 30 SAR per passenger simply to have boarding passes issued at the airport because I was unable to check in online. Despite explaining the circumstances, there was no flexibility, no willingness to assist, and no consideration given to customer service. It felt like the focus was solely on collecting another fee rather than helping passengers.

What made the experience even worse was the airline’s response after I raised a complaint. Rather than acknowledging my concerns or showing any empathy, I received what appeared to be a generic reply repeating the policy. My feedback was simply dismissed.

I understand that flyadeal is a low-cost airline, but being a budget carrier should not mean providing poor customer service. Courtesy, common sense, and a willingness to help customers cost nothing.

After this experience, I will not be flying with flyadeal again, and I certainly wouldn’t recommend them to anyone. There are many airlines offering better customer service and a more customer-focused approach. Saving a few riyals is not worth the frustration and disappointment.

Flyadeal membership scam

I have been a Flyadeal membership subscriber for the past year and was generally satisfied with the program. During the first year, I paid the monthly subscription fee and typically only around SAR 50 extra per trip for my included round-trip flights.
However, after the subscription was automatically renewed for another year, I noticed a drastic increase in the additional amount required to book flights under the same membership. The cost difference is substantial compared to what I experienced during the first year, making the subscription far less valuable than originally expected.
I believe Flyadeal should provide greater transparency regarding renewal terms, pricing changes, and the actual benefits subscribers can expect after renewal. Existing members should not be surprised by such significant changes in booking costs.
I hope Flyadeal reviews this issue and offers a clear explanation to affected customers.

Flyadeals membership program is a scam

Flyadeals membership program is a scam. They lock you into a one-year membership with no option to cancel, and then increase prices for members above what regular (non-member) customers pay, claiming it’s due to ‘price adjustments.’ What’s the point of paying for a membership if it ends up costing more than a regular ticket? I feel completely misled and won’t be using Flyadeal again.

SCAMMING AIRLINER (SUBSCRIPTION)

Even I have a subscription for 12 months, their booking application "refuses" to give me to have a flight for almost 3 months now ... They are acting like a scammer .... Take the money and don't care after this for delivering what they have promised.
WORST AIRLINER EVER ... SCAMERS !!!!

Critical Review of Flyadeal – A Deeply Disappointing Experience

Flyadeal cancelled both my confirmed flights just 3 days before travel, over a weekend, and forced me into inconvenient new timings. My Friday flight ruined family plans, and the return change made me miss work and lose pay. This was unethical, last‑minute, and completely avoidable. I’ve lost trust in this airline. Travelers should be very careful — Flyadeal is not reliable.

Avoid by all means

Very bad airline. Poor communication, inexistent customer service .

They lost my bag, and made no effort to assist in any way.

Just said I had to file for compensation. (Which doesn’t cover the value of my stuff even close)

Avoid flying with this airline.

Hidden Fees and Zero Flexibility—Avoid flyadeal

I am extremely disappointed with flyadeal’s rigid policies and lack of customer empathy. After a booking error (the date defaulted to April instead of March), I tried to correct the mistake immediately. Flyadeal’s system is designed to penalize customers rather than help them.

They are demanding a 450 SAR change fee per ticket, even though my original tickets only cost 357 SAR and 316 SAR. It is cheaper to throw the tickets away than to change them. To make matters worse, be prepared for hidden costs at the airport; they usually charge an extra minimum of 30 SAR per seat just to board.

A "low-cost" airline shouldn't mean "predatory" service. Save your money and book with an airline that actually values its passengers.

The worst airlines in the world

The worst airlines in the world. They lost baggage. They do not have support. Awful. How is it possible to be soooo ignorant? We lost money as couldn’t get into our next flight because of them. Do not choose them

Terrible Customer Service and Zero Empathy

My experience with flyadeal has been extremely disappointing.

I made a genuine mistake when booking my round-trip ticket — I selected the wrong dates more than a month before the flight. It was an honest error, and there was plenty of time before departure. However, the airline showed absolutely no flexibility or empathy, even towards a frequent customer.

To make matters worse, I had to wait three hours before being assisted. When I was finally attended to in Dammam, the support I received was unacceptable. The representative was unhelpful, dismissive, and eventually hung up on me without providing any solution. I was even told that my email request would not receive a positive response.

I submitted the formal request anyway. After waiting an entire week, I received nothing more than an automated response stating that it was “company policy” and that the only option was to pay additional fees to change the flight.

This is not about policies — it’s about customer care, flexibility, and basic respect. The lack of professionalism and empathy is shocking. I strongly reconsider flying with flyadeal again and would not recommend it to anyone who values proper customer service.

A truly disappointing experience.

Poor service

So. If you're in KSA on Iqama, they still let you book using your home country Passport details, but won't allow web check in. And when you go to the counter for check in, they will charge you extra.

Flight

Flight: F3 9771 (Jeddah – Tashkent)
Date: 10 January 2025

This was one of the worst airline experiences I have ever had.

The flight was delayed from 03:50 to 08:10, but the real issue was not the delay — it was the complete absence of communication.

Passengers were fully checked in and then left waiting at Jeddah Airport for more than 12 hours:
- No aircraft assigned
- No announcements or explanations
- “Go to gate” status frozen for over 5 hours
- Extremely uncomfortable seating and facilities
- No support at all for families and children

This was not a low-cost airline issue — it was a total operational and customer service failure.

If you are traveling with children or family, I strongly recommend avoiding this airline until serious improvements are made.
