Dont trust

Their page shows random prices for historic auctions. When you refresh the page prices change to a random number - what a joke and a way to mislead a customer...

I had a horrible experience with them

I had a horrible experience with them. They show almost no understanding and take no responsibility for their mistakes, like loss or theft. They changed the import customs agency that you have to sign a contract with at their request, then applied extra charges, or else they would not release my vehicle from their parking lot in Holland. I overpaid in the end 1300 euros for a lot that I won on their website. The value of the lot was around 1200 euros, plus transport. I strongly suggest not using this company.

The customer purchased lot 1-94165425 for 1,400 USD. The total amount paid by the customer was 4,200 EUR, exactly as shown in our cost calculator, which included the auction purchase price, auction fees, towing, shipping, and customs-related costs, including duty and VAT.

The lot in question was a dismantled and heavily damaged 2024 Yamaha YZF-R7 motorcycle. The vehicle was purchased in the exact condition shown in the auction listing. Loose parts were visible around the motorcycle, but the customer ignored the clear warnings in our terms and conditions stating that loose parts shown in photos may not be released by Copart together with the vehicle.

This is an important and well-known risk with salvage auctions. Many weeks can pass between the moment auction photos are taken and the moment the vehicle is released to the transport company. During that time, loose parts may be moved, lost, removed, misplaced, or simply not handed over by the auction yard. For this reason, we clearly inform customers before bidding that loose parts are not guaranteed, even if they appear in the photos.

The customer accepted these terms before placing the bidding order. Despite this, after receiving the vehicle, the customer demanded compensation from us for missing loose parts, even though this risk had been clearly explained and accepted in advance.

We therefore disagree with the customer’s claim. The vehicle was purchased and delivered according to the accepted terms, and the final cost matched the amount shown in our calculator.

The customer’s claim that he “overpaid” is based on the fact that some broken motorcycle parts, which were lying loose around the vehicle, were not handed over by Copart. However, as explained above, such loose parts are never guaranteed and this risk was clearly stated and accepted before bidding.

Additional shipping prices

BidCars confirmed delivery to Klaipeda in writing, but later changed the destination to Rotterdam without my approval and demanded an additional 500 EUR cash payment for final delivery.

Now I am being pressured by the driver regarding urgent delivery timing and cash payment arrangements that were never agreed beforehand.

Additionally, the motorcycle was transported on an open trailer/truck instead of in a container. Even though the bike was already non-running, container shipping would still have helped preserve valuable parts and better protect the vehicle during transport. After seeing the actual delivery conditions, I now seriously question whether I would ever use this service again.

Very disappointing experience compared to previous shipments. Even having written confirmation from BidCars regarding the delivery method and destination did not prevent the terms from being changed later. Be careful and make sure to document every condition explicitly in writing.

This review does not present the full situation accurately.

We confirm that there was a mistake on our side and the motorcycle was shipped to Rotterdam instead of Klaipeda. However, the customer did not pay the additional 500 EUR mentioned in the review.

To correct the mistake, we arranged final delivery directly to the customer's home in Riga, Latvia, which is over 350 km further than the original destination, Klaipeda. As a result, the customer did not suffer any financial loss and received home delivery at no additional cost (transport from Rotterdam to Riga was provided free of charge).

The motorcycle was transported by container during the sea transport. The final part of the delivery, from Rotterdam to Riga, Latvia, was completed by standard road transport on a trailer truck.

We understand the customer's frustration caused by the mistake. However, the review leaves out important facts and may give readers a misleading impression of the situation.

Honestly a horrible experience. Very unprofessional.

Honestly a horrible experience.
In a fast-paced bidding world, where speed and transparency is key, BidCars should not exist.
Wired money on Friday, and my Bank confirmed it went through. Its monday now, and my deposit still hasn't been processed.

I called the polish number a total of 22 times, and got hung up on every time.
The chat service barely answered me in english, I had to beg the supposed english service memeber in polish via google translate, to get a response.

Didn't receive any explanation how long it might take, if theres any alternatives we could work out, nothing.

I was forced to use bidcars as thats the only way to bid on some cars on iaai, but honestly I'd recommend to boycott this site.

It might work fine, but when you're in need, or its urgent, you will see the awfull service they provide.

Bank transfers in EUR are not processed instantly and may take up to two business days, especially when initiated on a Friday. Unfortunately, we are unable to place bids until the deposit has been credited to our account, and we cannot accept transfer confirmations as proof of payment.

This information is clearly stated on our payment page. We understand the frustration caused by time-sensitive auctions; however, the transfer processing time depends entirely on the banking system and is outside of our control.

We always recommend making transfers in advance to avoid such situations.

Regarding the chat communication, we would like to clarify that our team communicates fluently in English. The customer initiated the conversation in Polish and continued the communication in this language. Claiming that he had to use Google Translate to communicate in Polish, while choosing to start and continue the conversation in Polish himself, is therefore inaccurate.
