Five years ago I bought several pairs of Bombas merino wool men's socks. The last pair just wore out this week. In Oregon we wore them year 'round, and they lasted for years. Four years ago I... See more

Socks not Worth the price
Looking for quality socks and unfortunately I bought the marketing hype about this brand of socks. These are no better than socks I can find on Amazon or Walmart for less than half the price. Totally over hyped and price. My first and last purchase. Very disappointed.
Terrible quality
My wife first liked them but within 6 months they start to fall apart. For the high cost should last longer.
Compression Socks Best Ever
Total knee replacement requires physical therapy after surgery. My PT recommended compression socks to wear. I immediately went to Bombas: the only socks I wear. Ordered a set of three pairs. Wore them yesterday for the first time and knee/leg were comfortable all day. It helped understanding the different compressions between socks offered. I am most pleased!
Thanks for quality socks!

Ordered compression socks via expedited shipping that I needed for a surgery. Ordered 6 days ago and they still have not shipped, despite the website staying orders ship the same day. Absolute waste of money and scam, will not even need them when they arrive a month later.

I'm so disappointed in the quality of these overpriced socks. I expected something lush and luxurious like the Footjoy golf socks I bought a while ago. These socks are thin and cheesy. I could have found this type of socks at Walmart for a fraction of the price. Will not recommend.
Robbed for my money. Horrible customer service
Really, really bad customer service. Everything is directed to an AI bot, which is fine if you dont have any problems. Typically i only contact customer support if i DO have a problem. I was sent 1 pair of socks when i ordered 21 pairs, and their AI bot can’t understand that and wont direct me to a person. Its been about a month. $427 order. One pair of socks. Horrible experience.
Terrible experience with Bombas
Terrible experience with Bombas. My bad, I should have read the reviews of past customers before I ordered from them. They were all correct -- overpriced product and terrible customer service. Lots of apologies, but no action. I'm sure that the folks in the shelters appreciate a pair of socks that will last them a month or so, but paying customers expect more. Bombas needs to get off their high moral horse and start operating like a business -- quality, product, service! A waste of time and money.
Far From Happy!
Delivery took 3 weeks
Delivery took 3 weeks. From order placed to shipped took 5 days. I'll go to the store next time...

Had a pair of socks rip and wanted to get new pair customer service was terrible customer service agent Lopez was rude and not helpful I will not buy from again!
Overpriced and still messes up orders
Bombas charges a premium for its products, yet can't even fulfill orders correctly, and its customer service is generally unresponsive. I spent over $200 on an order that included a 6-pack of men's boxers and 4 pairs of socks. Not only did Bombas ship the order well after it was placed and with minimal information about why the shipping took so long, but then when the order was finally delivered nearly 2 weeks later the package only had 1 pair of socks and 3 boxers. A $200 order and they delivered less than half of it after 2 weeks. I used to be a big fan of their products but if there is not a refund for the missing items and additional follow-up by the company (and I'm not holding my breath), this will be the last time I ever consider buying from Bombas again.
50 bucks for 4 pairs and 3 week delivery
50 bucks for 4 pairs, plus shipping and 3 week delivery. What a joke. They try to appease you with some sort of BS about donating a pair with each order. Would love to see the audit of that

Ordered a 4 pack of socks and received 1 pair. Trying to get hold of someone to make it right but no response by email and the telephone number provided for customer support takes me to a health insurance sales site.

Great value
I have worn Bombas' 'Men's Originals Half Calf Sock' for about 4 years and they remain hole-free. While I have heard that for more extreme conditions (e.g., camping) Bombas socks acquire holes earlier than those of more expensive brands, when compared to socks from local stores Bombas' are ~3x more durable (I have found that Costco socks acquire holes after ~1 year of my regular use). Also, when I recently purchased more Bombas socks and there was a problem with delivery, Bombas fully refunded the order (including the shipping payment, even though the issue was due to the shipper and myself, not Bombas) and provided helpful instructions on how I can work with the shipper to get the socks delivered into my apartment.
I was surprised to find that there is…
I was surprised to find that there is no "fly" opening which is quite annoying. Then I noticed the elastic band that requires a lot of force to expand a small amount. That equates to either a loose fit or a constriction ring around your waste. Executive cost decisions can really destroy an otherwise good product.
UK customer here
UK customer here. Reading the other reviews, I guess I should be grateful that half of my order actually turned up within a month. Have lost hope of getting any sense (or socks) from this company.
Really wish I had read reviews before I…
Really wish I had read reviews before I ordered. Someone told me the underwear are great for running so thought I'd give them a try. I placed an order and paid extra for the expedited shipping. I needed them to try for a long training run this weekend. Fedex says package scanned in Indianapolis, and then....nothing. After a couple of days of nothing (past the expected delivery date) I send Bombas an email. Our email exchange was underwhelming, especially for a company that says it has a "happiness guarantee". Clearly the package wasn't moving but Bombas refused to send me another one, refused to contact Fedex. Finally Fedex declares the package lost and I email again, and they finally say they have refunded my money because afterall they have a happiness guarantee. Wow. Just wow. Terrible experience with customer service.
Socks don’t last more than 30-40 wears
They are comfortable it comes at an expensive cost for a 30-40 wear sock, lucky if I get a year out of a couple packs of them. Where I have older, cheaper sock the are slightly less comfortable going on 10+ years. I had taken a break from bombas because of quality issues and gave them another shot. Sad to say. Same issues
Orders 2 cancel in less than a month
I placed two orders in less than a month, and both were suddenly canceled without any explanation. Contacting them by phone or email is quite difficult. It's disappointing because the quality seems good, but the service is TERRIBLE.
If I could give no stars I would
If I could give no stars I would. On May 20, 2026 I bought Bombas sandals. They were extremely wide, so a smaller size wouldn't help. I requested a refund. That started a ridiculous number of worthless emails from someone named Jayson, never giving any concrete information, claiming to not know about my order, not answering questions. Weeks of this went by and I then called the company. Got the same guy on the phone (does only 1 person work there?) and demanded to know how and where to send the sandals back. I finally got instuctions, sent the sandals back a month ago, and have NOT received any refund. Stay away from this company. I will never order from them again. Horrible.
THEY HAD THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND…
THEY HAD THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND NOW THEY HAVE OUTSOURCED.
The quality of care as well as the quality of communication is so poor.
The socks are also going WAY DOWN in quality.
I just had to replace my golf socks and was sent an email saying they need to be washed inside out, on cold and gentle as well as air dried! Really? Athletic socks.
