Account permanently restricted and balance frozen after trades were accepted
I have used CS.MONEY for a long time, and I am extremely disappointed with how my account has now been handled.
I sold a large quantity of items through their normal Trade system. Every trade request was created through the website normally, the system provided the prices, accepted the items, and credited the corresponding balance to my account.
Later, my account was suddenly permanently restricted. Support first told me that I had “abused the overstock limit.” They then claimed that there was a limit of 60 copies of the item and that I bypassed this restriction by creating several trade requests.
This explanation makes no sense based on how their system actually worked for me. CS.MONEY normally has a limit on the number of items that can be included in one trade, while individual items also have their own stock limits. When the platform no longer wants more copies of a particular item, it shows the item as “Overstock.” In my case, the website continued to quote and accept the items across multiple trades instead of showing them as Overstock.
I did not use any exploit, hack, API manipulation, or technical method to bypass their system. I simply used the normal trading interface that CS.MONEY itself provided.
The worst part is that the balance generated from those accepted trades is now permanently unusable. Support told me that the funds will remain in my account, but I cannot spend or withdraw them.
Their only proposed solution is for me to use Steam’s trade reversal feature. However, I have other unrelated Steam trades, so reversing trades is not an acceptable solution for me.
I even offered a compromise: I would completely give up the corresponding CS.MONEY balance if their trade bot simply returned the affected items after the trade lock expired. This would mean I would not keep both the balance and the items, and CS.MONEY would suffer no financial loss.
They refused and repeatedly told me that the developers’ decision was final and “not open to discussion.”
I am not asking CS.MONEY to give me both the items and the money. I am asking for a reasonable way to recover either my items or the value of the completed trades without affecting unrelated Steam transactions.
I have screenshots of the entire support conversation and the relevant records. I hope CS.MONEY will publicly explain why trades that were accepted normally by its own system can later result in a permanent account restriction and an unusable balance, while refusing to return the corresponding items through its own bot. here is my SteamID: 76561198726006099
