On July 9, I ordered several Grubhub gift cards, only to discover that one had already been redeemed. I contacted customer service and followed up three times over the next two weeks, but received no response.
At this point, it feels like leaving a negative review or filing a credit card dispute is the only way to get their attention. It is extremely disappointing that customers have to escalate an issue before the company is willing to address it. I am very dissatisfied with their customer service.
Fraud website do not trust! Purchased 100$ gift card as gift, when family member attempted to use it approximately 1-2 months later, it was 0$. They refused to make it right, stay away!
made a legitimate purchase but it got marked as a fraudulent transaction. made smalplace small orders on CardCash with lomake small purchases on CardCash, anall the orders with low discounts went through just fine, but any order with a high discount wouldn't go through. What a crappy platform!
My e card says paid but I got no email for it. I sent an email to support they gave an update and no one is responding anymore after I responded. Don't know if they'll actually help. I'm still waiting for my card.
I sold a card and it was accepted. The payout was approved and I received a non working link to my payout card. I have emailed them, gone on live chat and the most I have gotten is a promised to escalate. I can see the payout balance but the actual Visa card information is not showing up. I used them before and had no issues. They leave a lot to be desired.
I’ve sold a couple gift cards in the past with no issue but now they are stealing a $300 Petsmart gift card from me. I mailed in 2 cards - the Petsmart and a Home Depot card. I was afraid they’d say they didn’t receive them so I mailed them with signature required. Never imagined they’d pretend to receive one and not the other. I have a legal benefit at work so I’ll be getting a lawyer but having a “legitimate” company try to steal from me and making me jump through these hoops is extremely upsetting. Do NOT mail in any cards to them!!!!
I purchased gift cards to use on vacation and they haven’t worked. The hotel won’t help because Card Cash is not a verified third party reseller and Card Cash won’t help because they say the cards work. I have purchased over $15,000 in gift cards since 2025 from Card Cash and will not buy another one. I would rather pay full price than have to deal with this again.
Super disappointing experience! My gifts cards have been repeatedly rejected without any explanation and with auto response. When I raised a ticket for review of my account, support sent me a response which had nothing to do with what I asked which means they didn’t even read what I sent.
Terrible interaction with this company. Process seems simple until you decide to ship them the card. No since of urgency to find the card for the transaction after waiting week and a half. The customer service was terrible, i couldn’t imagine sending large denominations for gift cards to this company for a transaction. It’s like it gets held hostage, you have a better chance of passing away before you see your money for the transaction. Seemed like they were doing it on purpose too. Never doing business with them ever again…..I’m still waiting DONT DO IT
Sold a Best Buy gift card and a Starbucks gift card that was approved and was sent my Mastercard gift card but when I open it it says that there is a error but all my gift cards are at zero and I still don’t have my funds.. so basically I was robbed and I want my money I was promised
Tried numerous times to sell a completely valid card to no avail. I had tried a few months ago and same issue. They don't tell you why they won't accept it either. Nothing but issues with them.
Below is an actual email I had to send. This company is gross.
Hi Jennifer,
Your email is extremely vague and, frankly, resembles a scam attempt more than a legitimate business communication.
You are claiming that I owe an outstanding balance, yet your correspondence provides no order number, transaction ID, receipt, account details, dollar amount, or any other identifying information that would allow me to verify what transaction you are referring to. I should not be expected to call a phone number simply to determine whether the sender is legitimate or what claim is being made.
For years, I had no issues with CardCash. The only issue I personally experienced was purchasing a Regal gift card that had no balance. I did not dispute it, contact your company, or pursue reimbursement. I simply chose not to purchase cards from CardCash again.
The attached correspondence concerns a separate matter in which, after approximately three years, CardCash suddenly claimed there was an issue with transactions that had never previously been brought to my attention. As a result, funds from unrelated sales were deducted from my account.
The timing and handling of that matter raised significant concerns regarding your company's validation and review processes.
Regarding the Apple gift cards that this matter concerns (which I had to call your customer service to confirm), those cards were obtained through a trade-in transaction involving two iPhones at my local Apple Store. I retain documentation, receipts, and supporting records. When I contacted your customer service department, it took multiple calls simply to obtain basic information regarding the alleged issue.
What concerns me most is that CardCash appears willing to purchase and resell gift cards while later claiming, years after the fact, that there was a problem with the cards. If a company is unable or unwilling to properly validate the products it purchases at the time of the transaction, that raises serious questions about its internal controls and business practices.
I own and operate my own business. If there were a legitimate issue with a customer transaction, I would not allow it to remain unresolved for three years before attempting to collect on it. The delay alone undermines the credibility of the claim.
At this point, I dispute any alleged balance owed. If CardCash believes it has a valid claim, I request that you provide complete documentation, including:
The specific transaction(s) involved
Transaction dates
Order numbers
Dollar amounts claimed
The basis for the alleged liability
Any supporting evidence relied upon by CardCash
Absent such documentation, I consider this matter closed.
If CardCash chooses to pursue legal action, I will respond accordingly and welcome the opportunity to obtain discovery regarding CardCash's validation procedures, recordkeeping practices, and handling of these transactions.
Warmest Regards,
I purchased a target gift card yesterday to use it for online order. They have 2 types of gift cards - Target (can be used online and in-store) and Target In-Store Only. In-store card had 8.8% discount vs 4% on Target card. But I was delivered a In-Store card only.
When I reached out to customer care, they refused to resolve it. They want me to use it in-store and refuse to do anything else from their part. Well, if I needed in-store card, I could buy it from other websites with 10% discount.
I have spent thousands of dollars so far on this website. Never again! You have a shitty customer care service.
I have had nothing but fast and efficient transactions from Cardcash. They are seamless, quick and most of all TRUSTWORTHY. Also worth a huge mention is the fact that their payouts are higher than anyone else. I have tried them all and the only one that hasn't messed me over in one way or another is Cardcash. They also do not pressure you to purchase anything from them and they have always had a website that was not bogged down with popups and working seamlessly. I do not understand the low rating because every search engine and popular named entities always place Cardcash first in every search and list it as reputable and trustworthy. Now I have used some of the other pretty well known sites and I have been completely ripped off by most of them. I have lost over $390 in gift cards throughout my journey of selling unused gift cards. I doubt anyone could find another site that can deliver what Cardcash does and actually receive your payment. More people that use Cardcash should post their reviews because everyone I know that uses it feels the same as I do and maybe they haven't thought to leave a positive review. Most people will adamantly pursue a $5 discrepancy leaving a trail of negative reviews behind but when they find one that operates as it should they never think to leave a positive review. We need more positive reviews on the services that deserve them just as much as we need the negative reviews. So here's mine... Great job Cardcash and thank you for not ripping me off like the other sites!
This is by far the very worst website ever do not buy here it just wasted hours of my time charge my card multiple times never received stay away
I purchased a gift card from cardcash for cinnabon and there was no money in the card. I lost over $42. Cardcash supposedly checks the balance before selling it to the customers. Unfortunately I couldn't use it before the 45 day deadline and cardcash refused to refund me. I don't trust them anymore.
I would not recommend these scammers to anyone. Stole both of my retail gift cards money and did not complete the transaction of being sold to them as in I didn’t get any money and the transaction was not completed. They wiped out both cards. I’ve reported them to the merchant. RIP OFF THEY KEEP YOUR CARD NUMBERS AND STEAL YOUR MONEY.
It's really downright weird that you have to put in a CREDIT CARD before they allow you to do anything. and it has to have $1 available on it. What else? I think one time they had to text my mothers cell phone because their weird verification process was basically filled with outdated info. its a hassle to use. other than that I had a card I put into this site and another and figured whoever paid out fastest got the card. they paid and now are claiming they bought a card with nothing on it? and sent me a paypal invoice. LOLZ. if this is literally your business check the card before you buy it. literally not my problem your platform is so slow.
put a $95 nordstrom card in and it sat for 4 days with no movement. so I went elsewhere.
not worth the games and the weird verification bs.
I have sold 10 or more gift cards to card cash, got paid in less then 2 days!! Never any issues!
