Unless your travel plans are written in stone they'll rip you off with cancellation fees. Join the Caravan Club instead. Better sites and better customer service!
Staff at every site encountered welcomed us like old friends, the “ Friendly Club “ motto exists out there, in practice, even through working tirelessly at keeping their respective sites in pristine condition.

Unfortunately, as on previous occasions we have found our dealings with the camping and caravaning club less than helpful. We were given their name as a reference, for seasonal campsite wardens, but the company have a policy of disclosing nothing about their employees that could be useful for a future employer.
The worst customer service possible.
Always a good break, love the site managers at Dale Acres at the moment, great vibes and always helpful!

The minimum 3 night stay is too much outside the high season half term etc.
It has forced us up to Scotland and to the other club sites
Can't put a date because I don't have 3 nights available - I'll have to go elsewhere or stay home
October to March could be 2 nights min (perhaps apart from half term and Christmas New Year
Loads of folk I have met agree and have left the club; I expect I will too next time if there's no change

I dont live in UK so rarely use the sites. The times I have used them they are poor value compared with Continental sites and not being able to check in early is a real pain when touring. Im probably not going to renew as membership for me is poor value for me.

Beautiful part of the country, great beach, fantastic pubs, especially the Queens in Slapton.
The site is excellently managed and well maintained by Angie and Paul, can't wait to return next year.

Love this site and return year after year.
Excellent location and can wander into Fortrose for a friendly beer, and food shopping.
Staff have been friendly and helpful every time I visit.
Always manage to see dolphins and seals at Chanonry Point
Tracks to pitches could definitely do with some maintenance as they are now a bit pot holey.

Renewal is very easy and we were informed in good time. I would have given 5 stars but this time I didn’t receive my membership cards in time.

I'm starting to be disappointed with the value for money of Camping and Caravan sites. Over the last couple of years I've checked Camping and Caravan sites and sites that show on Google maps.
I have finished finding sites which have been better in terms of facilities and cheaper than the Camping and Caravan members sites.

Lovely greeting on arrival, availability of pitches explained in detail then we were escorted to our choice and asked if it was ok or did we want to change - excellent service. Brilliant site in all respects, the shower/toilet block is warm & clean. All the site wardens were friendly and most helpful.
Perfect area for exploring, good dog walks and bus stop within a few minutes walk, bus into Keswick takes approximately 5 minutes. Bus going in the other direction to Cockermouth and Workington.
Highly recommended.
