I love this app

I love this app! It may not always be 100% accurate but it’s still more convenient than typing every ingredient manually. I like the visual log of my meals for the day. As someone who is pretty educated on nutrition i think it works well for my needs, as I can make adjustments on the go.

I don’t understand how you’re supposed…

I don’t understand how you’re supposed to accurately track anything with this app when it calculates everything with default values… if you’re trying to actually follow a plan using this app, it honestly feels like a waste of time

Terrible app

One of the worst apps of this kind I've ever used! The food calculations are inaccurate pretty much all the time. Forget about pictures! But even when you try to fix it manually, you still have to correct the list of ingredients and calories. Exercising - wrong amount of calories as well. They promise a free 3-day trial, but charge you immediately after you give them your card. I just can't find a single thing about this app that I would like. Oh, I actually was able to cancel it with no problem which was good!

This app is a scam

This app is a scam, don’t download it unless you want to give $30 away every month with no ability to cancel unless you call your bank and get a new bank card! I, like others signed up for free trial like everyone does with apps, to check it out before purchasing. I signed up and tried to cancel subscription next day, kept getting an error for the entire duration of the “free trial” (3 days), on the 3rd day I was able to cancel but they still charged my card 29.99. I emailed their support team and was told they don’t even show an account with my email (yea ok eye roll emoji), and that I needed to contact Apple support. Finn though when you go to your Apple subscriptions it DOESNT EVEN SHOW UP there as a purchased app!! So how am I supposed to contact them when it didn’t even show I have purchased that app through apple?! Make it make sense? It doesn’t, that’s why, it’s a straight scam!!! DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP

Beware of “free” trial and AI “customer service”

I signed up for the free trial. When I was underwhelmed with the product, I tried to unsubscribe in app, before the trial was over, so I would not be charged (as promised when signing up). However, I kept hitting an error when I tried to manually unsubscribe in the app so I reached out to customer service, still before the trail was up. I eventually figured out their “customer service” email “Madina” is an AI bot. They took me around in circles, asking me the same questions over and over again, even when I very clearly explained what the issue was, and provided video evidence. After a week of them wasting my time, never being put in contact with an actual human to refund me, I had to dispute the charge on my credit card. Don’t recommend.

The $40.00 Cal Expert app worked for 6…

The $40.00 Cal Expert app worked for 6 days on my iPhone, then lost all of my logged meals, screwed up dates, screwed up calorie counts and got worse as time went by. Major problems are obvious. No tech support, the email did not work.

This app is a SCAM

I started with a 3 day trial through Apple and once that ended i got an email from Cal Ai offering 80% off. I subscribed through their link and once i was connected to the 'premium' version i noticed an 80% off promotional banner across the front of the home page where you log your food. This is bizarre considering I've paid for the app and it was still showing promotional advertising regardless of me already being a subscriber. I reached out to Cal Ai and what ensued next is insane. Firstly I realised after a few emails that I am talking to a bot that recycles the same email over and over back to you. It gave no resolution for the banner that would apparently never go away as it’s “programmed in” so i asked for a refund. It said I can't get one because i signed up through their link and not through Apple. Then suddenly my subscription disappeared off their system and even though I've been charged it wasn't registering my email or my account upon log in. 15-20 emails later back and forth with this bot that kept asking me the same stupid questions that I’ve already answered it kept saying it has sent me a new link to re-activate but of course I received ZERO emails from them. I'm giving up. I feel totally scammed , I cant get my money back and there is no way for me to access my account. Check out other peoples reviews on the App Store, total scam. Called the bank to put a stop payment.
