To be fair, Hypofriend colleagues are very friendly and offer a very detailed consultation. Also, their blog posts are very informative.
But I think their service is good overall only when you do not have a clue about the german language and german mortgage banks and offers.

Otherwise, the proposed offers by Hypofriend would not be very attractive in terms of Intertest Rate, also their process would take a long time (2-3 weeks) to get a bank approval after you find the property. This would make you lose it, in case there are a lot of interested buyers. And that exactly was my case!

I suggest that you speak with your consultant in your personal bank directly. Chances are higher to get a better interest rate and get a confirmation before you find the apartment. Then you can start with your search until you find your dream property. :)
