Do not chat with them, or if you do use their chatbot, give them a fake email address.

They'll grag your email address and put it in their database, then will claim they cannot delete it.

Fishy company, they'll either sell your data, email, or spam you. All companies CAN remove and delete an email address from their database, CigarPage chooses not to, and they also don't disclose they'll grab your email before you chat with them.

Best website and customer service. Fair prices, rapid email communication, just good business people.

Horrible customer experience.

After spending more than $320 online with this company, I received an email claiming that my biometics (ID and face scan, I'm not kidding) will need to be captured by a 3rd party against my will (iDenfy) for me to receive my order.

They never ask you BEFORE you purchase whether that's ok, nor do they tell you what this mysterious third party is going to do you with your face, address, data, biometrics.

If the alleged goal here is to verify that I'm not 14 years old trying to smoke spending hundreds on cigars mind you, not cigarettes or vapes, then why would they not accept a scan of my ID (drivers' license or passport)?

Smoke Inn could verify it themselves, like many other online shops are doing, but transferring this to a third party and not letting their customers chose is scandalous.

Never again with these clowns.

This is the same owner, same management as "Montefortuna Cigars".

Go have a look at Montefortuna ratings here on Trustpilot and you'll know why they chose to change their name and do a "rebrand". They're selling fake cigars online (illegal on so many levels), and they've been caught multiple times.

Theirs scams have been exposed on multiple forums from Reddit to Friendsofhabanos, with photos, screenshots of emails from the frauded customers with the management, receipts, etc.

Avoid at all costs.

No running balance anymore. Only a color green that basically says "you're good, trust us *wink*".

Clients are no longer able to see how credits and debits are affecting their balance. I understand millenials and gen Alpha and all have super short attention spam and reduced mental capacities, but for the rest of us we still need to see how the account balance is affected.

Imagine a bank statement where you have let's say 10,000 at the beginning of the month, 8,000 at the end of the month, but no explanation on which credit and debits came in, from who, etc, except colors and words.

We're talking money here, money is numbers who have not disappeared. Completely shady.

On top of it, the phone number does not work so you cannot call them. There's no one to chat with, only a silly bot.

I cannot find their address in the U.S. I mean, the whole thing is shady and I got scammed buying this thing I'm ashamed.

It's funny that according to Trustpilot's policy, when a reviewer is "automatically invited to write a review following their experience with the company, his/her review is automatically labeled verified."

Meaning that if a company sends anyone an invite to review on Trustpilot, whether they're a real customer or not, Trustpilot will accept their review, and mark it as verify.

I just find it odd that all 5 stars reviews for this website come from people and users with only 1 review. How strange is that! Keep reading:

3 reviews were left on the same day, December 16th, 2023, all 3 are 5-star reviews and left by users with only 1 review each.

Then, nothing for 2 months, and all of a sudden, 5 excellent reviews in the same 40-day period. Then, nothing for 2 months ago.

Then, all of a sudden, two excellent reviews on the same day: December 17th, 2024.

It's very clear someone is padding these reviews, adding them up when they think about it to create legitimacy. How arrogant are they to think we would not notice!

Same technics, same bad english from the Spanish "managers" as Montefortuna Cigars, same selling methods, and the provenance of their cigars is fishy. FYI, Montefortuna Cigars fell a few months ago after being caught selling fake cuban cigars.

Here’s (one of) the problem with the Hoxton.

Management care more about hobos, students, jobless hipsters showing off their MacBooks in the lobby and anyone else too cool to fit in any categories over their own guests.

They value litteraly anyone who’ll give them £4 for a (bitter) coffee rather than their own guests. The lobby is privatised for these people at the guests expenses. Understand this: there’s no room in the lobby if you’d like to have a coffee.
If you have to work, no room for you either. It’s the hunger games to find a spot. Forget about reserving a table for yourself.

Their employees are too afraid to offend the non-guests. Strange business model. Oh! And it becomes a night club around 7 PM. Forget about Friday and Saturday evenings: they compete with the Fabric! (London night club) I won’t even talk about how small and noisy the rooms are.

It’s like the maids are moving heavy and loud furniture every morning above your head. Needless to say I’ll never come back here but hey, if you find yourself cold and bored in the streets one of these rainy days in London, the shelter Hoxton will gladly welcome you!

Recently caught selling fake cuban cigars - go have a look on Reddit, their scam has been exposed, and their emails were disclosed.

"Bryan" the main manager has threatened a customer and eventually banned his account after years of purchasing from iHavanas, simply because he got scammed on his last order, and exposed it all.

Do your research people and only buy from trusted, vetted, approved vendors. Avoid at all cost, your cigars won't be authentic if you buy here.

Scammy merchant caught red-handed selling FAKE cuban cigars (especially Cohiba).

They even admitted it. The whole thing is public, go have a look at Reddit.com, you'll easily find all info, proofs, emails, screenshots and documents showing that they scammed hundreds of people over the years.

Do not buy here, nor with their (newly formed) parent company GranVega.

Crooks. Look at their prices, booking a round trip ticket London to Paris over a weekend.

Awful VPN. After years on ExpressVPN I wanted to switch to a more private and secure VPN and I thought Proton was going to be it. Not being owned by a US company.

However it was the worst VPN I ever used. It would log me out of the internet every hour or so, disconnecting me randomly many times a day.

I was also rarely able to log onto the internet with the Proton app opened. I had to quit Proton, get online, and then open Proton again for the VPN to function, and it was always time consuming and not reliable.

I don't think it's a good VPN and after a month of this, I couldn't take it anymore and ask them to refund my yearly payment, just prorated to what I had used, and they refused.

Of course I was not surprised from people that have such a poor product, but still, it hurts.

Buyers beware.

I wish I had done a little bit of research outside of the (fake and paid for) google maps reviews.

The founder/manager of this shop scammed me, stole a lot of money from orders I placed and that he never shipped out to me and it took me months to get answers by emails.

It took me close to 6 months to finally get repaid after his con. Never again.

Why on Earth do you mix normal, regular travelers with people that have chosen to procreate and bring kids with them on a trip?

Why aren't family or single-parents traveling with kids all in the same wagon together? After all, they all choose to reproduce.

Why are your other clients forced to endure unbearable noises and entitle behavior from kids?

If any grown up would behave the ways kids do, he/she would be asked to stop by our staff, and probably placed on a blacklist. Yet parents being completely irresponsible, indulgent towards their children and absolutely disrespectful towards other travelers is acceptable. This is baffling.

I find it funny this company only has 3 reviews before mine, all 3 are 5 stars, yet their global rating is 4 stars. If you're wondering why, it's because they lobby Trustpilot to have all bad reviews taken down.

Anyway, my experience with them has been beyond awful. I blew more than $700 on a single order. It went through, and they took my money.

More than 24 hours later, they emailed me to notify my they didn't feel like mailing to my delivery address, but instead wanted to use my billing address. Of course I said no because of the inconvenience.

I'm the paying customer here, why would I have to pay fees to have my package then forwarded from my billing address to my mailing address?

Because I said no, and ask them to mail to my normal delivery address, as indicated when I placed the order, they went fully petty and threatened me to cancel my order if I didn't send them a photo of my ID.

By the way, this ID rule isn't in their terms and conditions, and I feel like I should be able to keep some privacy and not give personal info to a 3rd party when I'm ordering something online.

They refused to hear me out, kept on lying so I had to ask them to cancel the order. I'm glad they didn't need $700+.

Never again with this company.

I've been scammed by this company. After multiple emails they agreed to make it up for their mistake. This was in January, months ago. Since then, they've ignored all of my follow ups.

It has been a nightmare. Dealing with this company over the last few weeks has been absolutely terrible.

All "reps" are more incompetent than you can possibly imagine. They have sold me a strap for $246 and it does not fit my watch. I've purchased the proper, exact model for my Deepstar and I've let them know the day I received it that their product is defective.

They have refused to hear me and will not help in any way. It's a terrible way to do business and they've gaslighted me in almost every email. They're refusing to acknowledge there was not R&D or quality control on their end and blaming it on me. It's truly unbelievable.

I would not recommend to anyone dealing with this company. I also has to send my watch for service after just a year, a few months ago, and that interaction was awful as well. It took weeks to just "understand" their terms.

This company litteraly refuses to send you a price list unless you give them info about where you live, etc. I've explained I've got different homes and that I just need a price list to get a general idea of the rates we're dealing with and they're simply refusing to send a price list of their own products.

They used terrible quality oil with their "CBD" and I'd recommend anyone out there to have a lab look at their %ages.

They clearly lie and cheat people with real health issues claiming their products have a certain CBD percentage, although they clearly don't meet what's on the labels.

Scam company buying cheap, cheap products to make a quick buck. Unethical and it also should be removed from market, total placebo effect!
