SCAMMED BY SURFSHARK!

LHS states 1 month for £9.74 / month
RHS states 6 months for £4.88 / month
Middle option states 24 months plus four free
Price is £1.60 / month
I'm thinking that is great (24 x £1.60 = £38.40) and quickly purchased the subscription
This is were the problems start.
1. Instead of charging me in my local currency (GBP) they charge me in USD
2. Instead of charging me £38.40 for the 24 months they charge me GBP 44.94 / USD 59.76
3. They set me up with auto renewal and there is nowhere on my account profile which allows me to change this. I feel this is a dodgy practice.
So I'm thinking price should be £38.40 based on 24 months at £1.60 because i get four months extra for free. Wonder if there has been a mistake?
I'm on chat and they tell me the price for 24 months is £44.86 - but their website says I've been billed GBP 44.94. Discrepancy here . . .
Then they go on to say that the monthly price I see is either divided between 24 months or 28 months regarding the time I got.... !
So if I divide £44.86 by 28 months - which is 24 months plus my four FREE months I get a monthly rate of . . . wait for it . . . £1.60 / month
Despite their website saying I get 24 months plus 4 months FREE, for £1.60 per month. In order to get to this monthly figure they are actually charging me for those four FREE months.
This is very misleading. Is it fraudulent?
Their customer services feel that this is acceptable practice. i.e stating on the website £1.60 / month 24 months plus four months free and then charging you for the 28 months.

However, you will be charged either in USD or EUR, depending on your current location. The monthly rate is just so you can see the difference compared to our regular 1-month plan! You should focus on the overall price - to put it simply - instead of paying USD $59.76 for 24 months of Surfshark, you are still paying the same price of USD $59.76, but you get 27 months!
