Have you got a couple of days!
Have you got a couple of days!. I really should not have been surprised when I decided to apply for a senior post within the Eating disorders team after looking at the trust pilot reviews. Unfortunately it was the worst experience I have endured during my highly successful 40 year experience in nursing and management. Within a week I was informed three ward managers had left together with with three senior managers. I really could not believe how unbelievably the ROEHAMPTON PRIORY was managed or more so mismanaged. Within a week two patients had taken potential serious overdoses and they basically took no notice of my recommendations and continually booked bank or agency nurses to carry out one to one nursing. They gave no support whatsoever. On top of this the medical/clinical care for the Eating disorders was particularly unsafe and of a very poor standard. I could go on though I'm afraid a year on I feel it is my responsibility to let all the public and professionals know my experience. What is even more disturbing is that despite reporting my concerns to the CEO and the care care quality commission, the former did not reply and the latter said they would investigate though never reported back. Whatever you do, particularly if you have a loved one suffering with an Eating disorder ,do not even think about referring. If you need help contact the Maudsley and contact Dr Janet Treasure for recommendations.
