I will be using Vault bag for the first time when I go travelling in a few weeks. I've checked it out by practicing and it does what it says on the tin. I'm very happy and looking forward to many travels suitcase free.

Outstanding product exactly what I need and wanted

Used once so far, on a one-nigh train-trip.
Was perfectly adequate, easy to use, comfortable.
Compact overall and this is much appreciated. Fabric and design seem very robust.

Great quality and quick delivery, but does not hold as much as advertised.

The bag is really well designed and made of very high-quality materials. I'm very pleased with my purchase.

Slow delivery and overpriced. Average material quality and the claim of packing for a week seems over stated. Also need to watch out that the bag itself is pretty heavy. Having looked at alternatives with other retailers my opinion is that the Vaultbag value is closer to £50 at a push!

We have a daughter and the amount of extra luggage you need to travel with a little one is insane - we fitted so much into this bag as a carry on that we only needed one medium sized case for a 10 day trip! It feels well made and no problems at all so far! Very happy.

Ordered two for a recent trip to Ireland, they were as fabulous as advertised

Delivery was slow but otherwise very good. Have not used the bag yet so cannot give any further information.

I purchased a trolley bag under the impression - from the online advert - that it was airline approved as a free under seat bag. It is not. It is too large. Customer service will not allow me to return it free of charge despite it being mis/sold. They are even adding a restocking fee. This is unacceptable and goes against my Consumer's Rights. I will now be contacting PayPal.

Great quality product that arrived Withington the expected 2 weeks.
Travelled to Morocco a few weeks ago for 10 days, no luggage charge and more than enough room in my vault bag!

Good product, I had bought the smaller bag to ensure to travel with Ryanair.
Expected a bigger capacity, tried for a long weekend, you can manage to place clothes for maximum 3 days not more.
Material are high quality, but overpriced.

The whole process of ordering to delivery was great with regular communication. You do have to wait about a week for delivery as it was coming from abroad but definitely worth the wait.

UPDATE – 2 SEPTEMBER 2026

Following VAULTBAG's response to my review, I contacted them again and explained that there is no active PayPal dispute and no bank chargeback has been issued.

VAULTBAG's Customer Service Management team has also confirmed to me in writing that “your refund was processed even though the item was not received back with us.”

Their public response below states that my refund was processed on 14 August 2026, but also says they will “re-process” it once the alleged chargeback is cancelled.

I have made it clear to VAULTBAG that there is no bank chargeback to cancel, yet I have received no further response and, most importantly, I still have not received my £125.10 refund.

I returned the unopened parcel on 30 July using the return label and return address supplied by VAULTBAG, and I have proof of posting and Royal Mail tracking.

At this point I simply want VAULTBAG to honour what they have now confirmed both publicly and privately and refund the £125.10 they acknowledge is due.

I will update this review again if and when the refund is actually received.

REFUND OF £125.10 STILL OUTSTANDING!
I returned the item on the 30th July unopened and repackaged using the Returns shipping label provided by the company. I still haven’t been refunded £125.10 because the returns address in the shipping label contained a PO Box number and package is showing it’s at the Royal Mail Parcelforce National Returns Centre. Despite receiving several emails from VAULTBAG that they will refund me, I still haven’t received my refund. I DO NOT RECOMMEND PURCHASING FROM THIS COMPANY.

Great bag, can’t wait to use it on my next adventure!

Plenty of room very strong got more in than we thought we would

Top quality and loads of zips but a lot smaller than I thought it would be.

I ordered two bags at separate times, one didn’t arrive in time for my trip so I was always going to return it. The other did arrive in time and I was all ready to use the bag on our easyJet flight, however after adding my clothes to the airtight side of the bag I found that there was not enough room on the other side to add my iPad and kindle let alone anything I needed to buy at the airport so I switched to my existing bag in the day of my flight and managed to fit everything from the vault bag aswell as food bought in the airport so I decided to return this bag aswell.

The support email was very helpful although it was quite a long process given they offer a 90 day full refund promise. They did try to offer me 20% refund and keep the bag. I eventually received the postage label even though I didn’t know how much would be deducted from my overall bill I could see that it was tracked 48 hour delivery with Royal Mail so assumed it would be reasonable.

I tracked the return and up to this point everything appeared to be straightforward. I received an email from the support email confirming my refund amount which stated a refund of £20. The detailed statement noted a refund of £130 (deducting the admin fee and postage costs) but then noted an actual refund amount of £20.

I have contacted the support mailbox to query the actual refund that has been made given the email implies that they have only refunded £20 for the bag that was not even opened from delivery.

I am still waiting for a response and will update this note if the company have made a mistake and refunded me the amount of £130.

Please be aware if you return any items even if they are unused.

I have not received a notification in respect of the other bag yet.

Update: the support service responded and they said that the £20 was a mistake and the full amount is being refunded for both bags. Whilst I am yet to actually receive the refunds the website has been updated to show the full refunds.

Just as an FYI the postage was tracked 48 hours and cost £5.15. I have updated the rating from 2 to 4 given the service I have received so far.

Does exactly what the advertising says... perfect size for RyanAir carry-on, beautifully designed and well-made. I've taken it on three trips now and bought another one for my partner. The small suction fan was a bit complicated to set up (getting the best fitting valve) and is probably unnecessary as it's just as easy to kneel on the bag to expel the air before inserting the plug.

Used for the first time for a trip to Valencia for two. Thought it was great. Fitted a lot in including clothes, iPad, passports, money. Plenty of zips to choose from with a few little hidden compartments. Loved it. Was a tad heavy to carry but too be expected with what was in it
