Every year, as part of TCS Lidingöloppet, we are proud to make a donation to the Astrid Lindgren's Foundation, supporting the hospital with the funding and supporting research into severe and chronic childhood diseases. The ultimate goal is to benefit patients and advance paediatric healthcare. TCS Lidingöloppet is much more than a race. TCS Lidingöloppet has delivered yet another extraordinary day of racing on the trails of Lidingö, Sweden, and today we celebrate the athletes who crossed the finish line first. 15k Female Winner: Francine Niyomukunzi with a remarkable time of 51 minutes and 25 seconds. 15k Male Winner: Egide Ntakarutimana with a remarkable time of 44 minutes and 36 seconds. 30k Female Winner: Evelina Henriksson with a remarkable time of 1 hour and 53 seconds. 30k Male Winner: Ebba Tulu Chala with a remarkable time of 1 hour and 40 seconds. Race day is in full swing at TCS Lidingöloppet in Lidingö, Sweden. JP Iversen, CIO, Electrolux Group, officially started the 15k with the start gun this morning, sending thousands of runners off into the stunning trails. Shortly after, Dev Sanyal, CEO, VAROPreem, launched the 30k, setting the field on their way across one of the most iconic cross-country courses in the world. With constantly changing terrain and breathtaking scenery at every turn, runners still making their way to the finish line are being spurred on by incredible crowds lining the route. The energy across Lidingö today is something truly special, a reminder of what happens when community, sport, and human determination come together in one place. Eleven years. It is a milestone worth celebrating, and the Tata Consultancy Services Lidingöloppet inaugural ceremony gave us exactly the right moment to do so. Held at the beautiful Lidingö church in Lidingö, Sweden, the ceremony brought together sport, community, and more than a decade of shared purpose. Shreerang Talekar, Head of Nordics, TCS, addressed the gathering with a speech marking eleven years of partnership between TCS and Lidingöloppet. A journey of endurance, community, and showing up for the long run. We also heard some inspiring words from Anna Iwarsson, Chair of the Swedish Sports Confederation. The TCS Lidingöloppet is more than a race. It is a symbol of what long-term commitment creates: community, trust, and progress, step by step. For Andreas Hjalmarsson, Senior Business and IT Leader, Tata Consultancy Services, running is part of his lifestyle. This year marks his fourth TCS Lidingöloppet, taking on the 30k and another opportunity to challenge himself. The discipline he builds through training also carries into his work: he focuses on consistency, smart time management and continuously finding ways to improve. For Andreas, staying active is about more than fitness. It helps him manage stress, recharge mentally and bring energy into his work with customers. His advice to fellow runners? Day one of the TCS Lidingöloppet brought the running community together today, as participants arrived to collect their race bibs ahead of tomorrow's big event. Through the rugged terrain of Lidingö, Sweden, wheelchair athletes pushed the limits of skill, strength, and resolve. The energy at the expo was remarkable. Runners from across the region gathered in anticipation of one of Sweden's most celebrated cross-country races, with final preparations well underway. Lidingo church hosted an opening ceremony to mark the start of what is promised to be an exciting weekend. Tata Consultancy Services is proud to support the TCS Lidingöloppet, an event that reflects the values we hold as an organisation: endurance, community, and the drive to keep moving forward.
