How do you bring a brand to life outside of a retail store? At department store TK Maxx it’s all about treasure hunting. And that just happens to be the essence and most fun part of Lowlands! Always on the lookout for that previously unknown artist, great food, or your new BFF. With these hidden gems in mind, HPB | Het PR Bureau created a very special treasure hunt to activate the brand, for the 2nd year in a row. Our 13 meter high LLookout was not only hard to miss, it also gave a stunning overview of Lowlands’ terrain as a huge playground for all the hidden TK Maxx treasures. More importantly, the visual impact of the activation and sheer fun of the game created a buzzing energy and many new fans among the 60.000+ festival goers. Some facts: - 115 iconic deals were given away, such as a glamping upgrade, tickets for 2027 and products from TX Maxx, plus 10 friends of fans were given last minute access to Lowlands; - In the run-up to the festival, during a pre-activation tickets were hidden in TK Maxx stores throughout the Netherlands – the first fans lined-up outside the stores 1.5 hours before they opened; - And thanks to the invited press and creators on site, the campaign delivered an impressive 6.17M social reach and €2.17M in earned media value. Thank you again for the trust Marlies Broeder, Marlijn Swan, Marleen Koning, Kim Kennedie and Julia Marfleet from TK Maxx. And let’s not forget Jill van Raan en Kris B. from creative production house Tale of Two, Mojo Concerts and Live Nation Entertainment for the strong partnership 🙏🙌💫 Want to know more about this activation: read the article by SponsorReport with our very own Julia Peters in the comments below (in Dutch).
