This site is a far cry from what it used to be. The shipping is absolutely outrageous. They don't give you any idea what the shipping might be for an item. It's a guess on what the shipping might be for even a keychain. One should be able to have a ballpark figure on shipping. Any other site does this except AmiAmi. Shipping for a figure that weighs a pound costs 40 dollars!

Arcane member policies that prohibit one from reopening accounts without a very invasive process to establish your identity comes off like you're being probed by the FBI. You sell toys, not firearms!

This site needs something of a revamping on these fronts. one that is more customer friendly. I'm waiting on one item that comes in November-December and I'm done with this site. You're not the only show in town, people. Stop acting like you are. You're getting one more star just because you have what I'm looking for. Your policies state you cannot open a new account under the same EMAIL address, not the same physical address, unless you changed it at some point?

Absolutely awful business practices.

They don't tell you even an estimate of shipping costs until they invoice you, and by the time they invoice you, they don't let you cancel your order, so you either pay whatever shipping fee they advise, or you don't pay, and they send you a email telling you how they can't "trust" you and no longer want to do business with you.

Just avoid this company and shop elsewhere.

Best place to buy used metal build gundams.Their item quality rating is superior.Looks brand new.Got mine in a week via ecms to vegas.My to go to for metal build gundams now instead of overpricing stores even for used ones.Thank you Amiami.

my experience using amiami was great!

i pre-ordered the denji look up figure around mid may, and the release date was set for end of may. i was able to pay for the item and shipping by around the 1st/2nd of june.

it was also super easy to modify my order, i forgot my paypal login and was having issues with that, so i modified the order to just directly charge my bank, and it worked with no issues.

i’ve used japanese proxy’s before (like jpfans) so i was expecting the international shipping fee to be about £20, but i was pleasantly surprised when the option i chose was only £7 !! there was another option that was a little cheaper with no insurance which you could also go for, but the one i chose was insured and tracked for only £7 so i thought that was great.

overall, the figure cost about £18 and shipping was £7, so in total i paid £25 for a figure which uk retailers had for £42 MINIMUM (i couldn’t find it any cheaper than that, online at least)

shipping wise, the option i chose said the expected shipping time was 3-6 weeks which i was totally okay with, but it actually arrived in 7 days which was insane, i paid on the 2nd of june and it arrived the afternoon of 9th june!

the figure arrived very well padded inside the box, i honestly couldn’t be happier, i’ll definitely be buying from amiami again!!

pls bare in mind though this is just my experience (buying from the uk) so it may take longer/be more expensive depending on where you are, but honestly i found it to be a great experience!

I don’t know what people are talking here about. I ordered through international epacket light and was supposed to get my package in 3-6 weeks. I got it only after barely over a week. The only problem was poczta polska which doesn’t know how to use an intercom and do their job correctly. The packaging was in fact way over the top. It didn’t even have a single dent or scratch, nothing. The only thing I was surprised about is that I had to pay vat while collecting the package. But that’s really irrelevant because even if I wanted to order on local sites it would be even more expensive and would have to wait 4+ more months for every figure or plush that I want

Très mauvais service client !!

2 colis envoyés, aucun reçus car ils ont choisi de ne plus proposer l'envoi en air small packet registered. un des colis a été renvoyé chez eux et le service client a été lamentable, incapable d'utiliser un adresse (ils ont traduit le nom de ma ville et de ma rue ????) obligé d'ouvrir un litige paypal pour me faire rembourser. ce qui fait qu'ils ont clôturé mon compte, comme si j'avais envie de recommander chez eux après ca !

je commande sur ce sitz très régulièrement, j'usqua présent je n'est j'amais u aucun problème.
j'achète majoritairement des figurine d'occase car les prix sont trés avantageux.
leur 2 seul défot sont : le bourrage de papier qu'il mette dans les boite qui fait den un cance augmenter les frai de port et les précommande qu'il clôture trop tau a mon gout

i'f ordered aprox 800-1000 euro worth of pre-owned figures all where either a a grade or a b+ graide, but they were all b grade so i will never order from them again they are scammers in the way like that there products are not as discribe, i will never order from them again worst company every don't order here i'f you value quality, and i'f they let you send it back you have to pay for the return before you get re inburst the return cost, also to get the customs fee back ,in my country i have to send it back first before i can claim a return of goods to ask acustoms refund wich can take up to 4 months and then i have to hope that they accept it. i didn't return any figure because it cost to many money and gives way to many stress and takes to much time i'f i could give 0 stars i would give 0 stars

AmiAmi is a great website to order pre-orders from, I have never ever had a bad experience.

Probably one of the best Japanese figure outlets out there. Taking into account that the website is a little outdated, I've never had a more punctual service. Seriously, I've had sellers take OVER A MONTH to ship one figure. I've never waited over a week for my (nonpreorder) orders from amiami. Prices are pretty great too, where it gets steep is when it comes to the shipping and import costs, which can't be helped.

Their packaging is extremely high quality and your products will almost never arrived in anything but mint condition, sometimes to the point that its just ridiculous, if you buy a small, durable figurine the packaging is just overkill, and its NOT cheap, the shipping will always be a significant portion of the price unless you choose to literally ship your product on a ship, and wait for months for it to arrive. If you want a high quality anime merch product shipped in mint condition, this is the company you want.

The website needs a LOT of quality of life, the UI is a bit of a mess, the photos are too small, they don't define figurines that you need to assemble clearly, and you have to spend time on it, and rival sites, to learn how certain things work.

Due to abuse by weebs, they have strict cancellation policies on pre-orders, which is extremely restrictive if you wind up not wanting the product in question, and 'trading' the preorder for something you DO want doesn't exist as a feature. You should be allowed to cancel a pre-order without penalty if its over 3+ months from release. Otherwise a great website with a unique range of products you can't find elsewhere, except by resellers.

I specifically collect anime game figures, and Amiami is usually the online store where I buy my scale figures. I think I’ve already bought over 10 figures from them (preorders and preowned). The prices are good, shipping to Europe is relatively fast, and the packaging is secure. Service is also good. I love Amiami!

Never had a bad experience so far with Amiami - Ordered scale figures and they always came in sturdy packaging & perfect. A pre-owned scale fig from Amiami was also in a flawless condition which was great

The invoice system with payment for shipping etc. is really confusing, wish it was better explained that you can still change methods even after selection, and that the final choice is when you get your invoice emailed to you.

Overall, reliable store with all authentic figures, shipping prices not too terrible, but I've heard that you should be careful about actually paying for all your orders haha ~

I was banned for making a second account. I didn't know this wasn't allowed. I had no chance to appeal, nor did they explain why I was banned, I had to research it myself. Absolutely ridiculous company. They definitely lose a significant amount of money this way, so its so stupid.

Got my package in barely 3 days where I picked EMS shipping as the method, a total of 8 days starting from when I placed the order. Boxes were perfectly packaged, no damage or indents. Overall an outstanding and everlasting first impression of the amiami website! Most of these negative reviews generally stem from personal experiences, such as account bans and figure/ item malfunction - 99% of the time that issue is out of amiami's reach and can possibly be rectifiable with customer support. Overall, I recommend this site for curious first-time buyers, since this site provides items that are down to 50%(or more) less of their prices than they'd be in the west. Obviously, my review may be looked down upon since I've only gotten from here once compared to others, but I don't mind !! ^⁠_⁠^

My figure arrived very fast after it was available I did preorder her.
The package was in a good condition and my figure arrived with no issues!

Recently finally received the Berserk Skull Knight DX Figma I had preordered (from Amiami) over a year ago that got stuck in release date extension and shipping/tariff hell and I’m quite disappointed. The horse Skull Knight came with came with a broken head that couldn’t attach to the horses neck so I had to super glue it. Plus the pegs that hook together some of the accessories and detail pieces don’t fit together well and Skull Knight has so many absolutely pointy sharp pieces on him that it makes it difficult to grip him to try to snap the pieces back together. These issues coupled with the fact that the stand can’t support both the weight of the horse + Skull Knight on its back riding him has made me decide not to get another figma in the future.

So many people say amiami is a scam, it’s not a scam at all!! My parcel came within a week my items all In there! Shipping was cheap!

Amazing place to pre order new figurines from! I've bought a lot from AmiAmi over the past 5 years and never had any issues. I always pay for DHL shipping so my order arrives safely and quick but other postage options are available if it's too expensive for you. It's easy to cancel pre orders too if you change your mind, as long as you do it before it's ready to be shipped it won't affect your account status. Overall, I truly love using AmiAmi and highly recommend it for buying/pre ordering newly released figurines.
