Don't buy insurance from GoSkippy because very poor 💩 customer service.
I cancelled my insurance and bought another cheaper insurance but still deduct direct debit from by account. I'm waiting more than 3 months for refund. Still I didn't receive the money.

Such a shi**y company, i bought insurance twice and both time it was cancelled by the company and issued me overdue letters thats insane freeking insane. However the first time i informed them that i am out of country and i cannot connect the device

I absolutely love this app and it’s so easy to use

This is by far the worst company I've ever dealt with. I went to lengths of paying over a hundred pounds in cancellation fees just to get out of dealing with all their timewasting antics. They may be the cheapest option on paper but they are undoubtedly the biggest faff, and you'll end up spending more while going through the hoops they force you through.

The cheapest option for insurance I chose was one that included an "additional driver". After I sorted everything out, I just needed to add the additional driver to the policy, I wrote my additional driver's details out and had everything ready, but the instructions goskippy gave me took me nowhere. They were inaccurate. They would take me round and round in circles, and I couldn't get it fixed. So I contacted them (which took at least an hour on hold) telling them it wasn't working and they just reiterated the instructions which didn't work, and a week later I get an email of them threatening to cancel my policy.

I contacted them again (which once again took an hour+ on hold) telling them the same thing, they requested to see a video of the app not signing up the additional driver. I record the video and send it to them via the email they told me to. As I waited for a reply, I got one - but it was just them threatening to cancel my policy again.

I had to sit through the long hold periods yet again via phone call, asking them to extend the policy cancellation period for the third time because this faff was not working, and completely their fault. I told them I had sent them the video, and asked to speak to their manager this time. They ducked and dodged my proposal and the manager did NOT speak to me. They just sent their workers to do their dirty work for them. They once again reiterated the poor instructions, even after watching the clear video I sent them that showed it didn't work.

They once again sent an email threatening to cancel my policy. I was just sick and tired of it at this point, I never get mad at companies messing me around but this was a different story. There was no attempt to listen to what I was saying, no attempt to help me. Just endless threats of cancellation, hoping I could somehow get it to magically work.

Not to mention they spammed me with emails almost non stop, I'd get random emails about travel insurance that I never even talked about. I had to go through these lists and lists of emails to find reference numbers and etc.

They purposely make it a faff to deal with them, I'd assume it's because they don't want people calling them. So they leave you on hold for hours and hours, and don't reply to you via email.

The whole company is built on sticks and there is zero integrity throughout. By far the worst company I've had to deal with. If they went bankrupt tomorrow, I would not be surprised and would jump for joy.

Really simple to get started and going. Good communication from the provider and great pricing

While I just made my first interaction with them it was quite easy to get in touch with customer service.
The insurance itself costs less than half is my previous insurance so that's already a win.
My only problem is that the black box is not working... But I was assured that they will sorted out ASAP.
All in all I'm very hopeful

I’ve just taken out a policy with GoSkippy Insurance, and I’m really happy with the experience. Their quote was very reasonable, and joining them was quick and hassle‑free. It feels good to find an insurer that offers fair and affordable pricing without complications.

Pretty easy to talk to, just renewal that caused a few problems. But other than that very smooth... This will be my third year with them. One of the cheapest to go with.

I don’t want to give even 1 star because this policy gives good price but if you are going for cancellation they are going to kill us because they took £140 for the cancellation and they are not explaining the correct things. Utter waste people and company also not good I won’t suggest to anybody

Tried to cancel my renewal, they told me it was cancelled and I wouldn’t have any more payments taken out. A week later, I had a new credit agreement set up and a payment taken out for a renewal. I tried calling up to ask why they’ve done this and have been put on hold and transferred over and over with no response. I’m now paying for 2 insurances! Do not use, they are scammers
