The whole planning and organising our trip in accordance with our wishes by Africa Safari was excellent. We had a very experienced and knowledgeable guide, Edward Kishe, who made our trip unforgettable!

We had an amazing experience with Africa safari trips from start to finish! They thought about everything - airport pickup, transfers, water in truck. Our trip went so smoothly and I would highly recommend!

We have been back for a couple of weeks now, and we are all still buzzing from our amazing safari in Kenya. Africa Safari Trips were absolutely brilliant, communicating with us from our very first email, tailoring our holiday perfectly and communicating throughout the trip. We were sad when it was time to travel back home, we will go back and use africa safari trips again! Highly recommended.

I was very disappointed in this company. Once we had committed and paid 50% deposit the lodge was changed. The trip was full board as it included food and drinks ( non alcoholic). When were also told there were buffet and ala cart menus. There were not only buffet. The food was very heavy Asian food with further influence of Indian food. When I contacted African Safarie I was told it was high season and the hotel was just serving buffet. I was never informed of this info. The excuse was my agent should told which none of them did. At lunch snd dinner you had to pay for all drinks even water. In your room there were two bottles of 500 ml water. I was told after asking the tap water was safe to brush your teeth but you could not drink it. If you wanted any additional water it was 1 dollar US per 500ml. On the safari I paid 5 dollars a day per person for watered some snacks. I was told sorry but no resolution to my issues. The company had not visited this property and had no idea a large Chinese company had purchased it over a year and a half ago. I felt like I was robbed. When I asked for details behind what I paid for and was flat out refused on multiple occasions. I would not recommend this company. I would caution you to get the cost of the trip in detail prior to making a deposit. I am fine with a company making money but I felt I was deceived. I paid 10K US dollars for a 4 night 5 day adventure. Nothing special added like ballon ride or helicopter ride. Just the twice a day safari. Book knowing the same thing could happen to you. I will not make this mistake again and will never use this company again.

The drivers/guides were on point. Very knowledgeable and always willing to go the extra mile. Robert was wonderful in Kenya and Patrick was outstanding in Uganda.
Patrick has checked in with us and confirmed we arrived home safely and that we were happy with our trip. I would recommend this group to anyone looking for a trip to beautiful Africa.

Meticulous planning, great guide and fantastic people in the accommodation and grace of nature all made it a brilliant Safari

Wir waren zu viert 6 Tage in Tsavo East, Tsavo West und Amboseli auf Safari und danach 1 Woche am Diani Beach. Die gesamte Organisation hat perfekt geklappt. Wir wurden überall zuverlässig und komfortabel hingebracht bzw. abgeholt. Unvergesslich und wunderbar waren die Safaritage mit unserem Guide Amin! Er ist jederzeit sicher gefahren, hat uns auf viele Tiere und Pflanzen in der Nähe oder in der Ferne aufmerksam gemacht und konnte uns durch seine langjährige Erfahrung viel über das Land, die Natur, die Menschen und natürlich über die Tiere erzählen! Dabei ist er bei Begegnungen mit den Tieren sehr umsichtig und rücksichtsvoll gefahren. Mit Amin wurde unsere Safari wirklich perfekt, weil wir uns immer wohl gefühlt haben und auch viel Spaß mit ihm hatten.

Overall a wonderful experience.
What I loved:
1. Kenyan people are kind! Loved talking with everyone.
2. Africa Safari Trips: Generally good communication from the office in planning the trip.
3. Overall, pretty organized.
4. Camps were comfortable and relaxing.
5. The pricing was very clear.

What I thought could be better:
1. It would have been nice to have my guide’s WhatsApp number for better communication once out in the camps.
2. My guide was late on our initial meeting. He was late a second time during the trip but there seemed to be a good excuse. would have loved the What’s App number.
3. My snorkeling in diani beach was a mess of an activity. No show in morning. Our whole morning was thrown off. And the snorkeling is not relaxing at all. Not only crowded, but the ship captains frequently drove the boats right into where people are snorkeling. Hard to enjoy yourself when you look up and see the bow of a boat almost on top of you.
4. The ATV activity was miscommunicated. They had me and my 25 y.o. son down to share an ATV…weird. They eventually let us drive separate ATVs but cut our time in half.

Recommendations for people considering: This is a once in a lifetime experience. Loved it.
Get ready to tip and frequently. Make sure you have enough small bills (kenyan shillings) on hand.

We (a family of four with teenage daughters) had a fantastic vacation in Kenya with Africa Safari trips in July 2026. The dialogue during planning was excellent, the information received before arrival was precise and usefull and the whole stay in Kenya was seamless.
The safari was amazing, the camps were beautiful, we saw plenty of animals and our guide (Korbin) through our six days of safari was superb - knowledgeable, kind and pleasant. We really felt well taken care of.
The last part of the vacation was spent on Diani beach at Pinewood Bech Resort & Spa - a relaxing resort with a really nice and calm atmosphere, great food and great staff.

Awesome Family Trip to Kenya

Our family of 17 (ages 10-87) spent two incredible weeks traveling through six Parks in Kenya. With great advice from Winfred in the Nairobi office, I was able to plan an itinerary that included everything on my Wish List for this trip. ..night safari, hot air balloon ride, a visit to a Masari Village, including a school and selecting Parks that gave us such close contact with ALL the animals in Africa. A surprise Birthday Dinner in a special outdoor setting was provided, including a visit by the Masari to celebrate and dance with us. Our guides/drivers, Peter, Martin and Joseph all with 20 years + experience guiding, were so very knowledgeable & fun to be with. The hotels were wonderful (a couple just over the top!) and all meals were tasty, with so many choices in fabulous buffets. It should be noted that I interviewed and obtained information/quotes from a number of safari companies and selected Africa Safari Trips after careful comparison. Their pricing is a real value and now that the trip has been completed, I can recommend without hesitation! Our trip was 'perfect' and went according to plan. Zero complaints. Our family left Kenya with rave reviews for every single experience. We especially LOVED every individual we came into contact with. I've traveled the world and no where have I found such warm, friendly, outgoing individuals as I found in Kenya. Thanks Africa Safari Trips for such a fantastic two weeks in Kenya!!!

Great communication with Ruth pre-trip. Our guide was awesome, room and meals were great!

The company rep was very responsive all the way from booking to the tour. The tour guide was knowledgeable, friendly, efficient. It was a private tour and we had enough control over the itinerary. On the minor minus side, they changed the price just before the tour, presumably because of park fee changes. Also they assigned the guide right before the tour, so we could not vet him.

Guide ZUMA war ein Glücksgriff, wir sahen dank ihm sehr viele seltene Tiere, ein großes DANKE an ihn auch hier. In 5 Tagen Safari sahen wir über 20 Löwen, 3 Leoparden (Mutter mit 2 Babys), ein paar Krokodile und Nilpferde, 100e Giraffen und Elefanten und 1000e Zebras, Antiloppen und Affen. Thaiti, tsavo west, amboseli und tsavo east war unsere Route. Man muss hier schon mit Safaritour pro Tag mit 8-10 Stunden im Jeep rechnen. Es war echt eine sehr tolle Erfahrung.

We had a wonderful experience from start to finish of our trip to Uganda.
Our guides were knowledgeable and friendly and became part of the family - we were a big group - 1 family coming from all over the world and our reunion was made extra special by the trip.
Accommodation was great - transport comfortable and logistics manged perfectly.

The company handled all the boring admin stuff, making this trip stress free. I was able to tell the organisers what I wanted and they put it all together seamlessly. I am not usually a safari holiday person but they changed my mind completely. I was blown away by the professionalism, privacy, safety and an exciting itinerary. Antony was a great guide and very knowledgeable about the reservations and animals. All the transport; accommodation and board was all handled by the organisers with such a great price too. Everyone was friendly, helpful and welcoming. It was a trip of a lifetime. I hope I can make another trip with the same company that would last longer.

We had the trip of a lifetime! From getting picked up at the airport, everything went great. Our driver/guide Anthony was exceptional getting us to see the Big 5, putting us in great positions to observe and photograph some of the most amazing animals in the world in their natural habitat. Also, accommodations and food were fantastic!! Highly recommended!!!

Ruth did a great job organising our safari in Kenya. This was our 3rd trip to Kenya but our 1st with Africa Safari Trips. We wanted to see rhinos so went north of Nairobi to O Pejeta, Rhino Watch and Lake Nakuru. Saw 80 plus rhinos with babies....amazing ,wonderful sightings wherever we went.
On to Masai Mara where we saw the rest of the Big 5 plus more!!
Chris our guide was kind and helpful and really made our holiday special.
We would re book with ASF in a heartbeat.
