Updoc UK Reviews 

I was sceptical at first, although was wrong to be! I needed a new prescription for an infected wisdom tooth, although I was struggling to find a dentist that would be able to see me the same day. I didn’t want to wait so I Google searched and found Updoc, I was worried to start with but had nothing to loose, after completing the form and paying a small fee; I received a text stating my prescription had been given which was within a couple of hours and was able to collect from Boots. Really straight forward & prevented a long wait of pain & being untreated. Thanks a lot!

Easy to prescribe but difficult to have dispensed.

It was my first experience and it delivered emergency results

After filling in an online questionnaire I received two missed calls from a hidden number. Naturally, I was unable to return the calls. This was sufficient for updoc to issue a non-biding note, without me being able to speak to a doctor about it. The note was not useable (not an official sick leave note) and advised me to take the time off which qualifies for self-certification. For them, this was enough not to refund me. In other words, a waste of money.

Difficult to fet prescriptions despence at pharmacy. Lack of trained staff. Helpline number, unhelpful. Firstly they do not answer the phone, Then they have to investigate it and call you back. This is not helpful.
Service is expensive. 44 pounds for a doctor to prescribe then a further 11 pounds for the prescription.

Edit: the reply from Updoc UK below suggests I consulted with Updoc Australia, but this is wrong. It was Updoc UK. I would not be able to fill a script in the UK if I consulted with the Australian branch.

Above and beyond the incompetence of their reply, it also took longer than expected to get my script.

Also, why would a doctor prescribe general oral antibiotics for an ear infection? Now I have to experience the side effects on my GI tract and the efficacy isn’t as fast.

Far too expensive for this poor level of care.

Good to be able to access a doctor 24/7. I was going on holiday the next day so really needed meds quickly. I was a little anxious when I had placed my request that a notification came through saying that it was very busy and could take up to 24 hours. Had this been the case I would not have had my meds in time. Thankfully 8 hrs later prescription arrived and I was able to have it filled before my afternoon flight.

I went on in the morning to get a letter for a review of a concussion. the doctor tried to ring me 3 times and everytime I answered it was a voicemail message. I emailed 3 times to cancel the request and receive a refund, then the doctor messaged me online requesting further information and I further explained I would like to cancel the request and receieve a refund. Then 5 minutes letter i get an text through to say I have a document waiting and a receipt/invoice and th letter doesn't state what I needed it too and isn't correct.

Straightforward and simple process

I requested a Medical Certificate. It was provided quickly but it did not contain the details I requested so I requested a replacement certificate and was offered a promo code to make it free. Unfortunately to get the new certificate I had to pay the same amount a second time and there was no step in that process to provide the promo Code. I wrote an email about my experience and received no reply as yet.
