1Password - Password Manager Reviews 

We have been using 1Password for several years and as a small organization that, like any organization, experiences staff turnover, this platform has been very valuable to ensure we stay moving without searching for our passwords as computers/platforms/logins change hands. We recently had to reach out for billing support and the engagement was courteous, professional, helpful and thoughtful!

From my first question via email I have had quick and kind remarks from the support staff. They helped me right away and continued until they were sure I was all set. Best customer service I've had in a very long time.

I have used 1Password for several years, it is secure and easy to use. However, I ran into a problem - found an email I could send to support and thought...into a black hole goes my request or I am going to get an AI response. In less than 24 hours, I received a personal response from the support team which solved my problem. They even requested that I let them know I was able to resolve my issue. Having worked with and for technology companies for over 30 years, I can confidently say 1Password has one of the best support teams I have ever experienced.

They gave quick and accurate responses to my questions. Even when I asked them to contact me after my vacation, they did!

1Password has three domains - .com, .ca and .eu
When signing in it defaults to.com so I could not import my passwords to my new account. Eventually, I was able to when switching to .eu

Vor wenigen Jahren war der Support wirklich ausgezeichnet, da wurde in der Regel innerhalb von ein bis zwei Stunden geantwortet - mittlerweile kann davon leider keine Rede mehr sein. Nun schreibt man über eine Stunde mit der KI hin und her und ist am Ende soweit wie vorher, der Account ist trotz Zahlung weiterhin gesperrt. Auf eine Mail kommt nun schon seit Tagen keine Antwort. Immerhin war für diesen 'Fortschritt' eine saftige Preiserhöhung nötig.

We've used 1Password in our business for many years and have come to rely on it heavily as part of our online security.

Have we had issues? Yes, of course. When any software is updated, the user interface and user experience can change. Same when new features are introduced. Most recently 1Password started misbehaving in Safari. It was very frustrating.

BUT, in my experience, 1Password has outstanding customer service. Patient and thorough. That's why it gets a five-star review. 99% of the time the software works flawlessly. And when there is a problem, you get to interact with an actual human being who genuinely seems to care.

Maybe that's because they're Canadian? Who can say.

What I will say is that despite the occasional frustration, I'm very please indeed with 1Password.

Good product, good customer service

Great software with a great support team--Very fast and efficient.

When I made a suggestion, they read and understood the technical aspects, which is uncommon these days with non-technical customer support people.

They forwarded my suggestion to the Product Team and used it to upvote a suggestion that was already on the books.

I felt heard.

I felt understood.

While I'm eager for the solution to be implemented, I was satisfied with the communication experience.

1/5 stars. I've spent far too much time trying to get support for this app, only to be met with unhelpful automated responses that ignore the actual problems. Two major faults make it unusable:

Syncing between devices is completely unreliable.

It consistently saves the wrong passwords and login details.
Unfortunately, a dreadful experience overall.

Great product, great team, worth the price

This app is disapointing. The important feature is flawed. It created so many duplicates because I had multiple sources and it is hard to clean up the dupes in the app. You have to enter your vault password way too much. The auto fill is not half as good as chromes or edge. They made impossible to find and export your information when you no longer want to use this app. If they had made it easy to export your information when no longer want to use the app I would have given the app 3 stars instead of 2 but this really ticked me off. Stick with your browsers password manager. This app has some niche features but at the end of the day it did not save me time or make mananging my passwords easier. It cost me time!

This used to be the easiest and most straightforward piece of software - I've been using it for 20 years.

Now it's for techie nerds - it is complicated with so many moving parts you go round in circles.

They should have kept it simple or developed two versions.

I've been using 1Password for years. I've tried other apps and none compare! When I reached out for assistance, the response was fast, friendly, and helpful

got overcharged by accident (partially my fault) after using the service for years, support immediately fixed the problem with no issues at all, this type of issues show the true face of a corperation and in 1password case this is very positive.

I wanted to change from the family plan to an individual account. I sent my question and quickly got a clear and detailed explanation of how to do this. Written by a human, not a stupid bot. The company followed up to make sure I was comfortable with their response. I like this company. Great product and people.

I've been a subscriber for over 2 years now, and I haven't encountered a single issue with their service.

Recently, I had to go through account recovery—which was entirely my own fault (I failed to note down all the necessary recovery details). But their customer service team (specially Keturah) was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. They didn't just give me a generic solution; they laid out a clear, step-by-step plan and guided me through it patiently, regardless of my mistake.

On top of that, they offered a seamless transition to my new account and didn't charge me twice for the annual subscription I'd already paid for.

Overall, I'm really happy with my experience with 1Password. Highly recommended!
