We were delighted to welcome Peter S. (CEO) and the Accure team to our HQ in Colombo last week.   Over the week, we discussed the Accure product and business roadmap for the next three years, held technical discussions on the Accure product suite, and aligned on support and 24/5 operations. The programme also included one-on-one sessions and management discussions.   And of course, we made time to connect beyond the meeting room over team lunches and dinners throughout the week, along with a few team outings too. 😊   A special thanks to Carl Bengtsson (Product Manager), Terese Avanzi (Delivery Manager), and Anna-Karin Sandersnäs (Finance Manager) for making the journey to Colombo. We look forward to building on this partnership together. 🚀

Recently, Gayan Deegala, Associate Technical Lead at Creative Software, facilitated a session on Model Context Protocol (MCP) for the participants of Idealize 2026, a mobile app and web development competition organised by AIESEC in Sri Lanka in University of Moratuwa, where Creative Software sponsored as a Silver Partner. The session ran from first principles through to the current spec, and closed with an MCP server built live and called by the model in real time. Thank you for inviting us to share insights on timely topics with the next generation of tech talent.

Team Vicosight Heads South! Our Vicosight team (formerly CtrlPrint) recently spent two days away from the desk on a much-needed break down south. The trip took the team from lunch in Weligama to an overnight stay in Unawatuna, with some time exploring Galle along the way. Between the dancing, games, and plenty of laughter, it was a great opportunity for everyone to relax and spend some quality time together outside of work. Our interns came together for an afternoon of learning and fun recently! Some of our engineers conducted a session titled "From Rookie to Starting Five," an interactive session exploring how lessons from basketball can help with navigating and succeeding in the workplace. A big thank you to our lead facilitator, Navodya Hettiarachchi (Software Engineer), and supporting facilitators, Asitha Bandara (Senior Technical Lead) and Govindani Sahasrika (Quality Assurance Engineer), for putting together such a memorable and meaningful afternoon for our interns.

This past week, our University Relations journey took us to two exciting engagements at the University of Moratuwa. At HackElite 3.0, an inter-university innovation and product development competition organised by the IEEE Women in Engineering (WIE) Student Branch Affinity Group, Prathap Nanayakkara, Technical Lead at Creative Software, conducted a session on "Modern Software Delivery from Code to Production," sharing industry insights on the realities of delivering a product to the customer. We were proud to take part as a Silver Partner of HackElite 3.0. We also joined Rise Up Mora 2026, an Internship and Mock Interview Fair organised by the IEEE Student Branch, where our team connected directly with students through mock interviews and conversations about careers in technology. A big thank you to our team members who gave their time, and to every student who engaged with us across both events. We look forward to continuing to build strong, lasting connections with Sri Lanka's universities.

This time, our Tech Wemu Tech Talk session was hosted by Damian Rodrigo, Product Manager, and Navodya Hettiarachchi, Software Engineer, who took us through a session titled "Breach and Butter: What Clients Check Before They Sign." The session unpacked what clients really check before signing, from data residency and certifications to a live technical teardown and a look at Sri Lanka's own PDPA, with a few quiz rounds to keep everyone on their toes. Shoutout to our speakers for bringing their insights to the room for the evening and making sure the details stuck with us.
