Over the month of August, Sysco LABS colleagues engaged with undergraduates across Sri Lanka through a series of technical workshops and industry sessions. Through these engagements, our LABSters shared practical perspectives on the future of IT and AI orchestration, cybersecurity careers and industry readiness, human-centred UX design, as well as cloud computing, Microsoft Azure and DevOps. At Sysco LABS, we believe sharing real-world knowledge plays an important role in bridging the gap between academia and industry and strengthening the wider technology ecosystem. Our Sysco LABS Table Tennis team delivered an impressive showing at the 67th MTTA Inter-Firm Knockout Tournament, securing two championship titles and multiple podium finishes across the Men’s and Women’s divisions. The LABSters also secured 2nd Runners-up finishes in the Men’s A, Women’s C and Women’s D Divisions, rounding off a fantastic tournament for Sysco LABS. Congratulations to all our LABSters who competed and represented us with such a strong performance. Here’s to continuing to raise the bar, on and off the table!
