Zeer slecht!!!! Mijn dementerende moeder heeft geen inloggegevens meer van haar account wat ze niet meer gebruikt. Volgens internet zou de klantenservice hierbij kunnen helpen met een e-mailadres en kenmerk van bankafschrift. Nou niet dus!!! Ik moet op de site van mc affee zoeken naar het nummer van het abonnement en de verloopdatum. Maar ja dat gaat niet he als je geen inloggegevens hebt.
Mijn moeder kan ook niet meer in haar mail kijken. Niemand bij mc affee kan hierbij helpen en dus moet ze maar blijven betalen tot ze overlijd denk ik. Schandalig hoe je hier behandeld word!!!!

I was given a £20 McGee antivirus, I got the app downloaded it and it was rubbish so I deleted it, one year on and they have took £114.99 out of my bank account, I tried contacting them on their chat support but haven’t received an answer , I tried cancelling it but couldn’t, this company is a total disgrace do not buy from them.

Impossible to get past their AI chatbot without an email address. Can't get through on customer service. So this delightful organisation have my 90 year old dad autorenewing for a computer he no longer has through an email address that no longer exists. Without the email address its impossible to get through to them. Companies like this just do not care in the slightest about their customer. Pathetic.

Sluggish + mistakes
Quarantined Thunderbird folder files that took for ages to restore. Slows down PC considerably. Pre-installation just annoying, For the last decade or more, McAfee has been a great of time and money. Recommend to remove.

simplemente quiero q conste q como antivirus es una caca, lo unico que hacen es comunicarte que descubren mil historias por la que no va bien tu PC, no solucionan ninguna y te piden que pongas mas dinero para solucionarlo.Son unos golfos, no hay manera de contactar con ellos, no entiendo, o si, como con las opiniones que se tienen, la defensa del consumidor (otra mafia) no les mete un pleito que se caguen.

Senza alcun preavviso, mi è arrivato un addebito tramite paypal di rinnovo automatico di 130 euro che io non ho mai richiesto o impostato. Disonesti. L’assistenza inesistente. Ora ho chiesto il rimborso a Paypal perchè hanno addebitato senza un mio accordo oreventivo. Prima di addebitare, anche eventuali addebiti automatici, DEVONO CHIEDERE AUTORIZZAZIONE. SE NON RIMBORSANO, prendo l’avvocato contro mcafee e contro paypal. E metto qui l’annuncio per fare una causa di gruppo con segnalazione al Codacons o Altroconsumo. Disonesti e truffatori.

1ere année c'est bien après c'est de plus en plus cher ils vous prélevent sans autorisation 69 euros pour 2 ans et 125 euros pour 1 an du vol beaucoup moins cher ailleurs. Compte impossible à visionner et réclamer toujours negatif

I wish I had read the reviews. Ever since I installed McAfee my computer has been slowly falling apart. I am not a technical person so I will have to say it that way.

I have emailed the recommended site for assistance, have called them, and have sought advice from the chat resource on their website.

I was told that it is no wonder my computer no longer functions properly because it is not compatible with the McAfee install.

I can get help but only if I pay more money. If the McAfee install is not compatible with my computer, I should have been advised before I paid the money for the protection I am not getting.

I definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND McAfee.

This is just a scam business. Won't let you delete your subscription, even when you haven't used the service for three years. Avoid.

Mi hanno prelevato soldi in automatico senza autorizzazione

My laptop crashed, and I asked for a refund from November to May. The answer was, "What is in our hands is not returned to you, stupid customer, for 6 years; that is our policy"
What kind of people are thinking like this? Are we living in a jungle? Just wondering because I am almost 70 years old and living on a limited income.
I was thinking of calling the newspapers to let people know, to see if somebody else has had problems with them and gone to court. No one deserves this treatment.
However, I hope my $65.33 will give them a lot of fun, especially when the cost of lawyers will be part of the happiness. On my new laptop, I have a different company to protect me, but they pop up 2 times without my permission. It is like a horror?

McAfee, probably the worst antivirus protection on the market. I found this conclusion over 3 decades ago and am an engineer who has worked on pro computers, use, hardware and software, since they started.
I thought Id seen my last McAfee popup on my laptop, after 3 years Mc free, a popup came on the screen asking me to re-subscribe! Its deep embedded and impossible to find and uninstall (much the same as AOL). Anyway for the past decade I only use Windows Defender which is totally free with any Windows software and works the best. Advice, don't use/purchase. McAfee ruins a good computer.

Bij voorkeur schrijf ik korte reviews over positieve ervaringen met bedrijven die het verdienen beloond te worden met nog meer klanten, omdat ze integer en betrouwbaar zijn. Soms vergeet je de duizenden slechte ervaringen van anderen met een bepaald bedrijf tijdig te lezen, en dan zit je als volgend slachtoffer met de ellende. McAfee is zo'n firma waarvan ik niet begrijp dat dit bedrijf nog verder aan de weg mag timmeren. Abonnement na één jaar opgezegd, maar wie denkt dan van deze firma af te zijn, vergist zich. Eerst weken lang pop-ups die je waarschuwen voor de ernstige gevolgen van het opzeggen. Alsof dat nog niet genoeg is, krijg je pop-ups die het onmogelijk maken je beeldscherm op de laptop nog gewoon te gebruiken, omdat delen van teksten die je wilt lezen of bewerken, of beelden, niet meer zichtbaar zijn! Als je weer een abonnement neemt, zo deelt de fa. McAfee ongewenst mee, word je van deze pop-ups bevrijd. Never ever!!! Je kunt overigens van deze meer dan irritante pop-ups afkomen via Windows-instellingen (die natuurlijk op je mobieltje te vinden zijn, als je beeldscherm geblokkeerd wordt door dit soort bedrijven ...).

Absolutely disgusting that when you pay for the product from Curry's you now have to give your credit card details to make it work.
Has anyone thought from Macafee that putting all your credit card details using your computer opens up the chance for you to be done over. Last time I put my credit card details in a brand new computer I got stung. So goodbye to Macafee . Currys refuse a refund for a product which does not work.

My note to support: please pass this on to management: In the over an hour trying to resolve a simple issue decided to cancel my autorenewal / subscription. Your model relies on 2 things: 1 - high quality product / protection ... selling the peace of mind and 2 - make it easy ... don't give anyone a reason to switch ... what ever money you have saved with your automated agents and sub capacity staffing levels does not support this. Your AI agent could not get my email right. I know phonetics having served for over 15yrs in the Army ... Yankee is not R. When asked it would not give me a live agent just kept asking for my email, which it didn't get right over 5-6 attempts. 30 minutes of my life I won't get back. Please note this was after trying to use the AI agent on a step by step process to fix. I then turned to the online chat with a live agent. We got disconnected. I have now been in the line for service for well over 45 minutes and counting. This allowed me to search online via gemini the best solutions for PC protection and optimization and come to find out you are not recommended and charge 3X what other better protection and optimization platforms are charging. I guess I can sign up with them today since I can't get a simple issue resolved with you. I needed an activation code for the optimization that was different than the one for protection ... all i needed was an activation code and my autorenewal would have kicked in next month - me none the wiser.

forfærdeligt selskab, jeg fik en virus men den tvang mig til at betale selvom jeg godt kan finde ud af at få virussen ud selv og da jeg endelig fik slettet den så næste dag når jeg tændte min laptop igen så gav de mig fake virus så de sagde at det var det eneste jeg kunne gøre for at få virussen væk og selvom jeg har slettet det så bliver de ved med at lyve og sige jeg stadig har virus og jeg kan ikke få dem ud af min konto, dårligt selskab slet det i sekundet hvis du har det!

So tired of the warnings from these trying to get me to renew ,had enough and won't ever use this again.

If I could give 0 stars I would, terrible service auto renewed £150 without permission, then we called up and they charged us USD now my laptop is constantly being frozen from notifications and in school that is not good as it stops my studies. Absolutely awful.
