Home Tap Staff were all quite helpful in addressing our situation. Understanding and clear in the options helping us choose a path forward that addressed our needs !!

They also had great tools that helped you understand what to expect and they were on point with the steps !!

We had a great experience with Hometap. Brian, our broker, communicated clearly throughout the process and was always helpful when we had questions.

Submitting our documentation online was seamless, and we appreciated being able to make changes right up until the closing date. Once everything was finalized, the investment funds arrived quickly by bank wire. Closing from the comfort of our home with a third-party attorney/notary was also very convenient.

The only minor downside was that communication and coordination with some third-party vendors was not always as seamless as the rest of the Hometap process. Overall, though, the experience was efficient, professional, and much easier than we expected.

I appreciated the fine work done by my rep - Mary Kate Walton. See was courteous and helpful and guided me thru the process with the utmost of professionalism.

Good communication

I've been working with Chloe Youhanna for five weeks now. A few things have occurred which are very questionable. I have a preliminary offer, which they valued my home almost $200K less than an actual appraisal. The process has been very invasive too. They demanded I add them to my insurance, though I don't have a final offer yet. When I asked why it couldn't be done subject to a final offer, they said they wouldn't issue one unless I did that. I also had to increased my insurance coverage, so now I'm out of pocket for that. The last request for a document was Friday 8/28/26 at 9 PM! It wasn't even listed as needed in the portal. I will be happy to update this review if things turn out close to the original offer, but if they continue to "demand" more items before the final offer (long after the "30-45 days" as stated on their website, this whole thing may end up as a consumer complaint with the Florida AG. I do recommend to stay away until they can get their act together. I don't know how others have closed unless they were very small loans.

That's all I know is honesty , this company presented me with an option to Access my equity in my home which was expeditiously and without all the stress that comes with home loans . That was very eye opening. The staff was superb

AGAIN - I GOT THE RUNAROUND. THIS WAS MY SECOND TIME ATTEMPTING TO REQUEST EQUITY FROM MY HOME. THE FIRST TIME WE USED POINT WHO WAS USELESS. WE HAD BETTER HOME WITH BRIAN. HOWEVER AGAIN THE RUNAROUND!! I TOLD HIM SPECIFICALLY MY HOUSE WA NOT PAID OFF, AND I HAD A HOME EQUITY LOAN WITH NAVY. HE SAID THAT WOULD NOT BE AN ISSUE. NOW AS WE ARE GETTING DOWN TO THE FINISH LINE HE PULLS BACK AND SAYS HE SEES MY MORTGAGE ON THERE AS WELL AS NAVY. I TOLD HIM THAT FROM THE BEGINNING WHY STRING US AROUND?!? NOT HAPPY.
