oh soemthing i forgot to mention, if you dont want to use ai but nether this writing based wont feat you, there are already quite a lot of so called low-code, or no-code, engines or even visual scripting, which i had a much easier access to as im a visual typ of person, coe makes no sense for me as i loke at it lol

Ive found a bundle communiety on itch.io, creating a bundle every few months, where many different developers from all over the world can add there games, so that we in the end have a package with a lot of cool games which we're selling for a rather cheap price. We also have a bundle page, where you can find really every information regarding our and in general bundles on itch.io: BUNDLES ULTIMATE

make your games free at first, theres nearly no other option if you're just starting out, keep your games free get people to play and rate or comment on it and try to collect followers, the chance to sell something rises with your follower count, or you just have luck and your game hits the nerv and thousand of youtubers post their lets plays lol well never happended to me yet also didnt sold much yet my follower count now is 316 ;O

but if you want to make some money i have a small hit try to join co-op bundles, best way to do so is visit itch discord i think mostly the money taken in by a bundle gets equally split, or it is a help bundle where you get no money but i highly suggest to join any bundle you can such bundles otften raise unbelieve able high amounts of money, but thats not the point the amount of bundles sold also puts YOUR game in everyones libary who purchased a bundle and the last such bundle i was happy to be part of was no ice in california, which sold over 3000 times = 3000 people now have all my games which brought my a lot of followers and even my first lets' plays by a youtuber lol

anyway if you need help or anything id be happy to do so

no worries dude, we as indie-devs must unite and support each other, especially newcomes. thats our only chance to one day bring back ART into games to free them from the tight claws of the AAA-industry where games are reduced to products without any edges or real passion, there may be exeptions, but considering the budgets and sizes of these "DEV-TEAMS" is more hollywood then hollywood itself lol

As usual i have a radically different suggestion: in the face of the AI Take over it might be the better choice to gain Information what Tools and Most of all engines are available in the First place. Most People Arent even aware of Other engines Then unreal, Godot and the disfigured sister unity. No seriously my Point is that you Don Need to learn to Code to create proper Indie Games. AI hast reached a Level of coding even whole Games. But creating truely outstanding 2 and 3d Art those are still recognizable as AI created and map Design affords passion which AI wont bei able to Fake or overpower. So it might be better to increase your Art skills and knowledge how to handle Game engins, ui, music etc....of course Not all ppl are Artists some  ppl are more drawn to creating their engines or Frameworks themselves or use a codebased engine

ill quate what im usied till today, but i will try more engines, well try to lol

-GDevelope ( pretty easy also no-code/visual scripting engine) also can be used free but for pretty decent monthly subscription you have a lot of advantages 

- Rosebud AI Engine (im not that much into it yet, but it seems easy enough, and even features 3d graphics) it can be used free but to a very limited extend, as your ai-prompt count is extremely low, but they have a lot of different subscription variants, ive choosen the 30 dollar edition, where the amount of prompts is very high and you even can directly edit the code. its very interesting to play around with this engine as its really something differetn compared to other engines ive used before

thx so much :) well in this case i might give you a few personal recommendations for the very base of your future games: no-code engines

(again quating myself (lol)

sounds reasonable, i think the essential thing for me is that there acutally is and desktop app involced, even if it might open the browser linking to different sections which are not crucial for games. for instance i forgot to pay my internet bill, so i missed the deadline leaving me without the ability to connect the pc for half a month, and as i was forced into using windows 11 as everyone else as they stopped the support for windows 10, i releaized windows 11 essential is like the base functions on your pc but requiring internet access for others, literally sections in the settings do link you to microsoft site, so w11 is half on your pc and the other half online, leaving me without some features until i could connect to the net again.... well much talk short said: im impressed by your approach and will be following the further development closely you seem to be gamehub ceo, who is quite on my mindset. keept it up ill follow you on steam, so that im always informed of your pursuit :) best regards, love and peace, if you'D consider following me it would mean the world for me :)

[edit]: something i forgot, will your site feature somethings kinda like itch's metadata, what i want to say is: on itch you are asked which tools were used, but then only a limited nr of tool are available, which is dumb somehow, i mean you can also create your own genre tag by just adding it to your game, but not with tools used, which makes no sense, i mean most people may use the obvious stuff like godot unreal unity, blender photoshop etc. but still with  not beeing able to fill out this forms rather then seleting something of a list there will always be a minortiy who cant fill out the metadata correctly, same thing as with bundles i state above, it involves staff members having to deal with this issues,  which could be solved so easy....

tats really nice, i came up with something else, will you also provide the site to be access within or through a desktop app, i dont know about most people, but me playing games before there internet, i just can get comfortable with sites that have tools included which can only be acessed online via a browser, i even tried to lie to myself placing links to certain tool pages on my desktop which makes it feel a bit more natural, anyone else has this problems adapting to these new approaches and that there are engines/tools you can not own, just rent them monthyl or yearly for me thats the peak of the sicknesss of economy driven behaviour, i felt the same about free2play games at first, but the mass deceids whether something succeeds, leading to this bizarre situation/time of human-history. for me these things are like viruses spreading through the wealth of humanity as a whole lol

health comes first, i suggest recovering, as it also might increase the quality of the outcome of your working

thats not really a clever stating, as all things in live are nether black or white, there are grey shades. HUMANS are responsible for themself and so everything has a risk of beeing abused, i mean what about weapons ? they are also abused, or what about the bankign system the corrupt politicans of our time, ai aint bad by nature, rather adopts to its trainers, who are human. taking this out of this discussion and right into the nsfw thing, so all these guys complain about the responsiblity beeing taken away to prevent abuse, which is censorship, comeing back to ai topic, so the nature of ai is a mirror of humans who are greedy.....so its always in history if new things come around there are those who just cant stand that time actually moves forward leading to changes and what the final result is  entirely humans fault or not, so better thing before you speak...

i want to remind you of the '"assetflips" which were refering to games who used bought or free assets, which acutally isnt even relevant to the games experience, i understand that asset creators have to be transparent about this, but how everything in my games was made doesnt matter and peopel have no right asking about it as long as there aint any copyright troubles appearing... and with ai its the same.....you can speed up as one man army meaning indie game artist

wow looks truely well-made with a lot atmosphere, nice title-menu and the screenshot of the game on your itch site reallly look cute and attractive to expolore...the only flaw, is the price, i understand youve put a lot of work into it,  but its just a demo, which by all accounts should be free to try or it will fail to find players, will the steam key be included with the demo at least, thats actually the only justification for its price, but 10 for a first game on itch is most likely into trouble beeinng stuck with no players, dont get me wrong i totally agree with game devs beeing payed their countless hours of work, but i tell you people wont even pay a dollar for a whole game, even if that would be far to less anyway, its the problem or rating something of which the price emerges, but some games look totally awesome, but are just not funny, its like with music, a skilled guitar player aint a grant for good music, Nirvana may be the perfect example..as their music aint that complex skillewise of playing technique but hell the emotions grab you instatnly...well just my 2cents, i wish you all the best for your steam realease as well as people paying for it :)

people using sketchfab be warned this guy just comes again after ive got him deleted like 6 times or so, i dont understand the motiv behind this, he also tried to get my data by appearing with the name "skeetchfab" or some similar wrong spelled version, stating you've won 500 dollar,  but you bank account is needed, caution, dont fall for it !

It is the year 2081, and the world is at its end. All resources have been nearly depleted and humanity has lost all sense of morality. Gunfire echoes through the desolation as people resort to violence and murder. i would be eager to join yet another game platform :) can never be enough people are not so easy to reach. is there already visual material of the page or even a rest realse, it would be cool if there would be an equal chance for any dev to be promoted, so i propose a radical idea kick stuff like followers, ratings, or reviews just let the screenshots and videos and maybe a demo speak for the game, rather not the opionion of most, because you know what most people are knuckleheads, and then adding radom suggestion or maybe even add more personalisation like the platform learnes about users and so they gameing behaviour leads to more stuff that they could actually like, i mean there also should be a completely radom system for the main page, no abitly to sort it of popularity, just a-b or completly random or genre based randomness this idea is not further developed as i just came up with it , but it certainly would provide a far more fair approach into indie gaming which is art, so thsi actually makes sense, just imaging the new cod are somewhere deep within and  between our games haha this would truely be a huge steep into the right direction and a truely important day in human history i mean it it would be a complete new approch from my knowledge there aint any other platform witgout followers and rating,  but this belongs to social media and not into serious art creation....

forgot the most imporatn part: NO FREE STUFF ANYMORE, it leads nowhere useful for devs, degrading a game whose creation exceeds 1000 hours by far, sometimes it can take years :O  

its very important to not make exceptions i mean the price can be low as 1 dollar but teach gamers that games are work and everyone gets paid for their work, well people that dont really work, like in offices or whatever, i mean sometimes i work through 2 or 3 day until i drop from my chair for people are not even spenging a simple dollar, a fucking buger is more expensive this is rediculous

maybe providing a proper refudn sytem, kinda like steam, but not limited to time rather the game warns you when you reach a trigger in a map or what ever which tells you that you won't be able to refunf anymoer also providing a simple way to make this happen itch refund is not great i bought apps not even working wrote to support a year ago or more, well still no answer, this has to be improved in this steam leaves itch far behind...their support is great also making certain exceptions when they see i have 2000 games(/tools on steam :D haha itch support is too slow which wasnt a problem for me until my last and my most impressive ultimate bundle 300 wasnt able to launch as some dumbasses werent able to approve it, this is still not improved even if it would as easy as providing a delete option for members by the host of the bundle ....i mean i had soo much great games and tool in the submissions, also the second part of my last ultimate revivor bundle could not launch because of 2 peope and itch could care less even as you approch their discord, i mean i can understand that their team is small, but again ,why not provide this simple solution to bundes, and its true just ask my dude ansel from bundle everywhere in a privat chat he stated that he this system causes so much BLOCK and pain for the creator, i mean imaging adding 300 titles one by one just to not beeing able to launch because of Knucklehead devs

Awesome insight dude, i appreciate your deep dive on this topic as it shaped my life since i just was a small kindergarden X, where the doctor which occasionally checks kids said i have problems with my eyes,  strange way i always had to close them hardly, you can't imagine what its like if you have something, but you aren't sure about, it you're not sure if you had to carry out tics or just did it somehow, a painful process until a doctor in the child hospital finally had enought skill to delierver the absolute only possible sickness....tourette-syndrome, which mostly never comes alone....when i turned 14 i always had bad feelings i couldnt surive a single week without feeling wrong in this world, in this society, finally manifesting as i got a bit older one day i felt so bad i just had to cut my arms, which got more often and i finally became addicted to it, when life punches you in the guts again :/ i finally started to try all kind of drugs, if you dont want to life why care about them destroying your body....but the whole plant of the tribes who always had a connection to our mother earth, want to say, drugs aint all bad dosage selects if its a bad or good, ask the medicine-economy, they are doing then same stuff as dealers, only thats they do it legally and selling it to rediculous amounts of money, this stuff  aint worth 1/10 of what they charge, it may sound as if i awas some dirtbag abusing drugs and making bad jokes all day, but the oposite is true, i used them to do creative stuff . enough of this as i said it was a dark chapter thou it showed me how to cope with my pain, and it propably sounds dumb, but i have extremely strong emotions, sometimes i just break down crying on the floor losing each and every self awarness and respect, but I stopped cutting myself finally which brought me to regained soberness eventually, but i dont know where id be if i wont have done it. Every Human makes mistake and someone stating the opposite doesnt realize his actions, but this is an outcome of our society supporting stupity and some people really are compeletey different, they dont get the easiest logical sequence, i wasnt a good student but im proud because school supports this behaviour, like sit down shut up and listen, and teachers are often also of this kind, anyway i spend much time thinking myself, not reading any litarature, i also stopped watching movies and series:  Create, think you can do this all by yourself and if i think of this clever literature  writers but i as i became aware of their philosophical insight i wasnt much impressed "god is dead" lol well it may sound arrogant but it comes from my motto i create, i stopped being passive to "stuff" that is not sience i mean i watch stuff on youtube but mostly about space, qantum mechanics which i really love, becasue peopel are always so shocked by it not doing as they expected, which aint something that makes a big impression on me the opposite i love stuff that is just wrong dumb in a strange way also sensless talking and actions i love but they are made of my pain of life, which always carries a funny ironic turn i dont know for everyone but my girl and i had sooo much fun together laughing like little kids, which is something unfortunately many adults loose, but even as im nearly 40 i still feel like a kid inside somehow , but all my insights would be way too much to state here, but some people know me ask them i often act strange or annoying towards stuff i dont aggree with because as games are art art cant be rated, the skill is not all, you stillhave to feel something even people with waymore technical skills are often impressed by my stuff.... :I maybe we meet again my friend i really like you, you understand a lot about this and this cant be learned imo as its deeply connected to your mind-foundation which cant be changed as easily.....

My mental health switches between high as a mountain and deep down in the core of our earth. I suffer from tourette syndrome since i was a little kid and it was really hard for me in especially in school, while growing up within a life you don't really understand, I mean i didn't knew i had tourette syndrome, until a doctor who knew about it, told me and my parents, that i have this rather rare sickness (not a lot of people suffer from tourette, some may have some tics,but that's far from what i went through and had to experience. Overall i feel like im not a part of this influences, hollywood, stars and actors, fashion, etc bullshit world, that turns, as really psychopathic people in high positions with a wage that is simply unacceptable, seeing the third world suffer from thirst and all other kinds of illnesses, but in actually they deserver an equal part of OUR WORLD. I honestly swear, that if i ever get the power, i would instantly destroy all big companies, all countries uniting the world as one, every religion, all the senses technical trash we proudly creat(ed): CARS, WEAPONS, DRUGS, ETC and much more the strange and crazy things ordinary humans do. Im living a life that doesn't suck out our planet like we did never before, but nobody thinks about our kids, the future, they have to deal with all the trouble we'Re constantly causing by just living a "normal" life. Human kind is doing a damn deadly awful and completely sick harvest to OUR MOTHER EATRTH.

When you grow older you realize that less is really more in terms of metal health, because the option to deceide, mostly between an immense amount of products, that all do pretty much the same in the end, really stressed me so much, that i felt a real pain in my stomach. Sometimes when i want to create something its totally strange i WANT to work on my games, BUT if my tourette and ocd brain says no it leads to cruesome bad feelings and real pain in my stomach, so that i just cant work on anything. These are the days i despise my existence, but on other days i work on my games or any other art or stuff for whole days feeling lucky. For me not every day is the same, thats why i have such a big problem working in a common job, because on some days i just CANT, but tell this your boss..... well a lil view from the crazy realm of X.

never trust someone approaching you with a benefit, especially in the net, im having the same problem but over @ sketchfab some dumbass constantly posts some stuff like with a link which wants you to confirm your bank account :O, im reporting him again and again, but he keeps coming back with new accouts and stuff that someone wants to buy my 3dasset eventhou i dont even sell them :O i told him what he thinks that i eventually will be stupid enough to trust someone named skeetchfab :O

im sure you wont be able to get even close to their success, because you are alone, and you dont have a big publisher behind you, which would pay as you work on a game, which can take years, and you'd have to work also as i assume you also need to eat and live somewhere....

but i also though about this as i was much younger, already dreaming of beeing a level designer... but you would have to look if any bigger company looks for employes, but they are treating it like another job requiring certain skill, maybe also more, like haveing already workin on projects for a year or so, and you need to remind yourself: Success as goal sucks ass and you wont most certainy reach it, but if you do something out of pure passion and maybe then after some time it will eventuallly makke boom or not :D but i reccommed releasing your game on steam rather then on itch only, ive seen multiple devs putting out demos for their steam games on itch with a big "WISHLIST on STEAM" popping directly in your face as you explore the game page, honestly this seems to be a rather good apprach, BUT steam costs 100 per game release and one time 100 dollar for joining steam gamedevs and for ppl outside the us its rather complicated as you need to contact offices to have a certain document dont blame me i forget what it excatly was about also my sur name contains an "Ü" which causes all kiind of trouble, but im assuming putting in "-X-ScornGames" in my case would be okay, i mean if they have my bank connection iban or something the real name wont matter or i need to tell my bank to rename my account or even change my name into "-X-ScornGames", if this is even possible in europe, in the us of course .....

im having a rather equal opinion on this as you state....and so i want to point out Im ccalling myself Game-Artist and not developer as my games are more like art, as they just simply erupt out of me, im never planing much in my maps im doing it and it comes out well, i mean did you guys experienced this as well: sometimes im making simple mistakes or misplacement errors or whatever,  but once im looking what ive actually done, i come to realize that i did something the map/artwork is benefitting from ....

well im kinda unemployed, but in my homecountry once you've worked more then a certain amount of time, but then get resigned from this job you get a small amount of money until you find something new....and as im a "retard" suffering from multiple psychic trauma (tourette-syndrome, ocd, serious deppresion including harming myself with sisscors, knifes etc) the unemployment benefit offices, which usually very unpolite, rude and want to get you into any job available, are acting much more reserved, which gives me the ability to work on my games mostly :O but this is propably not going for an infinte amount of time....so im looking at the future with my middle finger raised to the sky and pain in my stomach

gamedev is passion, love, creativity and.....PAIN :D but yeah since the very first f2p game entered the stage, the possibility to earn some money is ceasing more and more.....ive only owned like 50 dollar by single purchases of my 7 released games, most money came from my participation or hosting of communiety bundles..... which is like the trippled amount. so sicne 2023 i made like not even 200 dollar i think :O well i totally understand that people work hard for their money, but so do we game-devs, and just becasue noone is blasting money in our asses /AAA-Publishers anyone? :D and making really all by myself which also includes a lot of time  not even working on games, but rather doing promo :D --> posting on all platforms and constantly trying to pull over more folllowers :D

fultime dev without wage, well at least not from my games......but this is going to end eventually in the future, which sucks, the whole indie scene is stuck in this free stuff movement....i wish someone would bother joining a subscription for my )upcoming() patreaon but i dont believe it, as my taste is somewhat different even anti positioned looking at what everyone else is doing :O
