Was able to order a Harvest Right Medium Pro stainless Steel Freeze Dryer at a saving then called to check on shipping and delivery timing after about 10 days and was given the bait and swiitch that the more expensive Stainless steel version was not availablebut they would give me a black one at the same price. Wild Oak hould have changed the web site so the Stainless version was not available to order given there were none available then not done a bait and switch but given money off the less expensive black version.

Even though the item ordered turned out to be out of stock, the Wild Oak Trail people communicated with us about it and sent it when they had it. Very helpful.

This might not be a giant retailer but their customer service is top notch! Ordered a OVS rooftop tent, received a personal phone call the next day and it was delivered within a week. Top notch and every process was seamless. I’ll be doing more business with them, no doubt!

I ordered Berkey Phoenix replacement water filters. Nowhere on the website was it mentioned that they are made in India. That's not OK with me. I didn't find this out until I read it on the back of the box. Wild Oak Trail contacted the manufacturer, who gave them a bunch of excuses, but the bottom line is that neither the store nor the manufacturer would refund my money or exchange the product. I find that unacceptable. Otherwise, I have really liked doing business with Wild Oak Trail.
Update: Wild Oak Trail very kindly called me and said they would be sending me Clearbrook filters, which are made in the USA. I think that will be exactly what I want.

This is a long awaited review, but I recently purchased our Berkey from Wild Oak Trail. We couldn’t be happier with the product and experience! The shipping was insanely fast and I was informed every step of the way. With such a large purchase, this was a relief knowing where our product was.
As far as product goes, our family now has peace of mind knowing we have clean drinking water. I didn’t realize how chlorinated our water was prior to using our new water filter. Additionally, we live in an area with frequent boil water notices. When the next notice comes, we won’t have to worry!
I wish I would have invested in clean water sooner. Make the jump, you won’t regret it!

The item that I had ordered became obsolete. A young man from Wild Oak Trail called me immediately the next morning to inform me of this and to offer me an upgraded item. I appreciate the fact that they followed up to quickly and offered another option. I received the new item within 2 days, in perfect condition. I would definitely order from them again.
