Ordered a linen suit online. The next day I received a stark auto email saying they did not have enough stock to fulfil my order and it has been cancelled.

I understand stock issues happen but the email didn’t include a sorry or any acknowledgement of the inconvenience. Just a blunt cancellation.

Print on t-shirt faded after one wash. Wax not very responsive to my emails. Stated they would send a replacement, and never did. Now not responding to my emails or DM. Extremely poor customer service

Just bought an XXL Shelly shirt online. This one was the light blue dobby stripe. Disappointed to find that although it is labelled size XXL, and described as a relaxed fit on the website, it is clearly a lot smaller than a genuine XXL and fits more like a size L. I have another Shelly XXL shirt from Wax London, this one is a flannel shirt and it fits like a genuine XXL. This variation of actual sizing of their clothes is confusing and disappointing. It leaves me less confident in buying their products online because it’s basically a lottery for whether this product will fit me or not, and often it means I am wasting money when paying for postage. Great designs and quality of garments but I really do hope Wax make their sizing more regular and less confusing.

My husband has bought 3 shirts from Wax this summer & they are very lovely. But unfortunately the last time we washed one of them we noticed there were some holes around one of the appliqué flowers & the materiel there was a bit frayed. I emailed customer service to ask for their help as I could see that we could not simply order a replacement as that shirt was sold out in my husbands size. Wax replied very quickly & sent me a refund, without me even asking for it! I was very impressed with this level of customer service. Most definitely 5 star. Wax could not have done any more for me. Needless to say my husband is now busy browsing the website to look for another shirt!!!

I visited the Wax London Covent Garden store after it was recommended as the best location to try on their suits, as they were said to have the widest selection. Kai, the shop supervisor, was fantastic. He was incredibly knowledgeable, helped me find the right size, and gave great advice on what styles and colours worked well together. His customer service was excellent throughout.

Unfortunately, the store didn’t have much stock, and they didn’t have the linen suit in the colour I was looking for. As I needed a suit for a wedding, I ended up buying one from Percival instead.

It’s a shame that Wax London doesn’t seem to stock the full linen suit range in store anymore, as it feels like they’re moving more towards online sales. That said, Kai was brilliant and made the experience a positive one despite not finding the right suit.

Very attentive customer service and very quick response to a request to cancel an incorrectly input order. it gives me a great deal of confidence in this company.

Ordered a suit and wasn’t until almost a week later I was told the trousers were out of stock even though it let me order. They told me this after I emailed them on an update on delivery. Thought this was really lousy and left me struggling to get something sorted for an upcoming wedding.

Redeeming factor is that they have given me a 15% off store voucher for any future purchases and a full refund.

Amazing service. Royal Mail seem to have lost one out of two packages I was expecting. Customer Service team at Wax have replaced lost T shirt quickly and with no fuss at all. Love Wax products and can say customer service team are excellent too. +++++

Quality clothes and quality service. International orders arrived quickly and when there was a post office issue with the return for a size exchange, WaxLondon took away the usual stress of having to get to the bottom of whatever happened at the Italian customs office. They pursued the issue on my behalf. I was very impressed by the level of customer service.

Paying 40€ for return from Europe (Germany) feels like a scam! I*ve never experienced such kind of service before. Fun fact returning it from US to UK seems even cheaper. Should have think twice buying somehting from UK since you guys left EU - never again.

Update: Got refund of 50%. Costumer service responded quickly to this post. Howerever 20€ refund is also very expensive. Costumer should be aware of it befor buying but at least it's written in T&C

My item was shipped quickly and the service I received was great.

I made an order and subsequently realised I had discount code in my junk folder. When I contacted to ask if the code could be applied retrospectively and the difference refunded, I received a response quickly, and was amazed when the answer was yes and the money was refunded to me.

Excellent clothes and great after service experience. Had an issue and was resolved promptly. The mark of a company is not how they act when things go right, it’s how they act when things go wrong. Wax London got it right on this occasion.

Have bought a few things from Wax in the past. Always really like their colours, designs and cut. Most recently I purchased a suit (for around £300) for a wedding. I didn't wear the suit at all before the wedding day (except trying it on when delivered). Whilst at the wedding the stitching failed in both the jacket and trousers. A big hole appeared in the inside arm where the stitching had come undone, and the stitching gave way along the inside seam (so you could see the sleeve lining) as the day progressed. Later the stitching at the back of the trousers popped open. The clothes fit perfectly well (it's not like I squeezed myself into them or they were super tight-fitting). The quality of the stitching is clearly terrible. I was obviously frustrated at the sight of my clothes falling to pieces at my friend's wedding, but imagine if I was the bridegroom... It would have really put a dent in the day.

On the plus side, the customer services team were very helpful when I contacted them. They resolved the issue even though I made the order more than 30-days ago (i.e. outside the standard refund and exchange window). I was offered a variety of refund / replacement options and in the end Wax covered the cost of having the problem fixed by a local stitching and repair shop. I am glad this issue was resolved so easily (top marks to the customer care team) but I remain disappointed the problem occurred in the first place (bottom marks for manufacturing and quality control processes).
