They came (and left) when they said they would.

When I called for a quote to move from Los Angeles to Sacramento I was told a price and was ok with it. I asked for an additional quote on storing the container while we purchase a home and was told a price of approximately $300 something monthly and I was ok with that too. Time passed by and when the first charge for storing came, they charged me $483.95. Initially confused, I called them to complain and the agent that I spoke to apologized for the mistake and said that he indeed saw the initial quote and that I will get a refund for the extra charge. About a week later I got a frustrating email that said they will not fix anything because they found nothing wrong with the price and that the case is closed. I was NEVER told recurring monthly price to be dam near $500 or I would have never agreed to keep it with this sneaky dishonest company. This needs to be resolved and made right. People please be careful with hidden fees. If you google common complaints about this company you'll find they're notorious for charging hidden fees.

PODs made a cross country move from Chicago to San Diego seamless and secure. Both PODs delivery drivers were personable, friendly, and helpful. The phone support teams were all very helpful throughout the process.

The service people were fantastic, professional and knowledgeable. Gave us correct information. No problems on booking and follow up. The whole experience was flawless. I would if needed in the future, would use PODS services again. I highly recommend PODS.

Very poor response and customer service from agent on the phone

Made it easy to make the move. Convenient to have the pod dropped off and have time to fill it. The transport to our new place took a little longer than expected.

At first I was excited to use pods but the container that was suggested for us an 8x8 was actually too small so we had to wait for an 8x16. On top of that we were quoted $6200.00 guaranteed to relocate the container to Hawall but in the whole process we were charged an additional $1500.00 for various charges that were beyond our control.

From the 1st call just for quote right off the bat there were no pushy or fake people trying to make a sell. ALL the people involved with this shipment have been kind and caring and most of all real people that genuinely wanted to help. Thanks for making this cross country process as good as you did.

Pods is a convenient way to store your stuff whether moving or remodeling. The process to schedule pick up and delivery is simple. The drivers go above and beyond to place your unit. The storage and moving fees are high and would probably prevent me from using pods versus higher traditional movers in the future. But it is great if you need to store your stuff for awhile before relocating.

No real problems.
Initial scheduling was off due to a misunderstanding of it was a long distance move versus a local move. The price change was shocking! Other than that, I’d have to say scheduling gets a little weird during your busy time. For example, it took almost 3 weeks almost a month to get y’all to come pick it up from the house I was leaving. But it worked out. I wasn’t ready for it to be delivered to me down here in Florida so it went to one of your storage facilities. So overall a good service. I’d use it again if I ever move again of which I do not have any such plans.

The people of NWA WERE GREAT, NOT PHOENIX! Since so much is outsourced, we had extreme difficulties and these two POD moves were a horrible experience. Last MAY, 14 MONTHS AGO EVERYTHING WAS PERFECT. Spoke to ALL American Employees. We had to hang up and begin anew due to their inability to speak clearly, speak good English, be nice and w low volume. I will NEVER AGAIN REFER PODS as last May was 100% perfect. What changes you have made in the past 14 months are not WHAT YOU EXEMPLIFIED PRIOR! That was a very expensive, rate changing, overcharging and poor moving experience. That's too bad that you are degrading your services.

Phone service and in person drivers were outstanding. Moved from Maine to North Carolina. Everything about the process went as planned. Great service. I would use PODS again and have already recommended PODS to others.

Driver NO Showed and NO management call or care whatsoever. This is pathetic. I paid workers to be here and nobody at PODS cares. Customer service overseas people dont care either.

Over all exceptional.

At both pick up and drop off the drivers were profession and courteous. During the drop off, the driver even took the time to call and confirm where to place the POD.

Far too expensive, I found much less expensive alternates after the fact. It actually would’ve been less expensive to have a moving company do it - not one of the big name brands, but there are plenty of independent companies moving from East Coast to West Coast.

No complaints about pick up and delivery. That was fine.

You did what was suppose to happen . On time and both drivers were great.

I had an incredibly frustrating experience with PODS due to a complete lack of transparency regarding their pricing and delivery process. After initially paying $689, I was hit with an unexpected $50 charge to have the container delivered to my new house. At no point during the setup or booking process did anyone explain these additional fees.
The worst part of this experience was their communication—or lack thereof. PODS canceled my delivery entirely, citing "nonpayment" for this surprise fee, but they never notified me that there was an outstanding balance in the first place. Once I realized what had happened and immediately paid the fee, they refused to honor my original delivery date. Moving is already stressful enough without a company failing to communicate and then penalizing the customer for their own lack of transparency. I cannot recommend their services.
