Had to change the dates on my insurance as my travel dates changed and Paul was professional and accommodating and helped sort it out . Their reply was timely coordinated. I am always gonna use them as my travel insurance company

Mauvaise expérience avec Insurte.

J'ai souscrit une assurance voyage pour la demande de visa de ma grand-mère, car il était indiqué en évidence que l'assurance était remboursée en cas de refus de visa.

Finalement, le problème est que nous n'avons jamais réussi à obtenir un rendez-vous au consulat de France au Maroc. Quinze jours avant la date prévue du voyage, j'ai contacté Insurte pour demander l'annulation et le remboursement de l'assurance, puisque le voyage ne pouvait plus avoir lieu.

Leur réponse a été qu'ils ne pouvaient pas rembourser l'assurance, sauf en cas de refus de visa, le délai de rétractation étant expiré. Ils m'ont proposé de mettre le contrat en attente, mais en me demandant de fournir une preuve d'annulation du voyage (billets d'avion ou hébergement).

Or, comment fournir une preuve d'annulation d'un voyage qui n'a jamais pu être organisé faute de rendez-vous au consulat ? C'est une situation absurde.

Au final, j'ai payé environ 50 € pour une assurance dont je n'ai jamais pu bénéficier. Je conseille donc de lire très attentivement les conditions générales, et pas seulement les promesses mises en avant sur le site.

My husband and I purchased comprehensive annual insurance plans with Insurte for our relocation to Portugal. I had one occasion to use the medical system for a total cost of less than 300 euros (two hospital receipts and one pharmacy receipt). We paid out of pocket as is required and followed the reimbursement protocol by submitting the receipts, along with the insurance form and multiple identity related copies (passport, entry stamp, lease document, insurance card, etc.) Nevertheless, we spent months and more than ten emails and nearly as many phone calls, as well as filing with our US insurance company to prove they would not pay before we finally were reimbursed. First, we were told there was one copy missing so we sent it. Then, several weeks later, we were told we had to resubmit everything in one email as the claim could not be processed if documents were submitted in separate emails. Then, we were told they had processed only two of the claims, because the third lacked an itemized bill and we had to contact the hospital to obtain one. The two hospital receipts were formatted identically and both listed the exact services performed (one exam and one scan). The insurance representatives were dismissive and, at times snarky. It was an incredibly frustrating process. Before our Insurte policy expired, We purchased new plans with MGEN and have had a much better experience.

Excellent customer service from start to finish. The team was responsive, professional, and always quick to reply to my emails. Every question was answered clearly, and the entire process was handled efficiently. It’s refreshing to deal with a company that truly values its customers. I highly recommend Insurte and would be happy to use their services again in the future.

After requesting to cancel my insurance (booked purely for a visa application), they asked me to write them a LETTER which they have already PRE-WRITTEN to cancel the insurance. What else should I do for you? Send it with a pigeon? Ridiculous attempt to rip people off and a massive waste of my time. I have bought insurance for visas from so many companies, never seen such medievalism before.

I needed the EU insurance for my relative. The policy search and website navigations were super user-friendly. Unfortunately I had to cancel the plan the next day due to discrepancies on my relative’s part. The cancellation process was easy and straightforward. I recommend using Insurte and will consider them for my future needs.
