Horrible. Got my package & paid for installation & was first told they waited 48 hrs after I received the package before they come. Schedule me one day and doesn’t show so I call again and said the new date was today sept, 4th 2026 and didn’t show at the expected time. I call again just for them to tell me they didn’t have any specialist in the area and refunded my money. Never gonna text/email from them. Horrible business. DO NOT USE

Contractors: Think Very Carefully Before Giving Angi Your Money
My experience with Angi Leads has been one of the worst advertising/lead-generation experiences I have had as a contractor.
The sales process is slick and professional. They know exactly what contractors want to hear. They sell you on the idea that Angi is going to help grow your business and provide valuable opportunities in your market. They are very easy to reach when they are trying to get your money.
My experience changed dramatically after signing up.
The leads are extremely expensive for what you actually receive. You can be charged substantial money simply for the opportunity to compete for a job—with no guarantee that the customer is serious, qualified, reachable, or even a worthwhile prospect.
Then there is the saturation problem. In my experience, too many contractors are chasing the same work. That completely changes the economics of what they are selling. A lead is not nearly as valuable when the homeowner’s phone is blowing up with contractors all competing for the same job.
Bad leads are even more frustrating. You would think that when a lead is clearly bad, invalid, unreachable, or does not reasonably represent what you were paying for, getting your money credited back would be straightforward. That has absolutely not been my experience. You pay real money for these leads, but when there is a problem, suddenly you have to fight over whether you deserve a credit.
And here is probably my biggest complaint:
THE COMMUNICATION BEFORE THE SALE IS NOTHING LIKE THE COMMUNICATION AFTER THE SALE.
When they want to sign you up, you can get a polished salesperson on the phone who has an answer for everything. Once they have your account and you start questioning the charges, lead quality, credits, or what you were told during the sales process, getting someone who will actually take responsibility and resolve the problem becomes a completely different experience.
That is what contractors need to understand before signing up.
Don’t just listen to the sales pitch. Ask IN WRITING:
• Exactly what will I be charged per lead?
• How many contractors receive the same lead?
• What specifically qualifies for a credit?
• What happens when the customer never answers?
• What happens when the information is wrong?
• Who is my actual point of contact after I sign up?
• How quickly can I stop the service if the numbers don’t work?
Then do the math yourself.
If you’re paying hundreds or thousands of dollars for leads that are being distributed into an oversaturated market, it doesn’t take many bad leads, tire kickers, unanswered calls, or lost bids before the entire program becomes a losing proposition.
Contractors work too hard for their money to throw it away chasing overpriced leads.
Based on my experience, I would not recommend Angi Leads to another contractor. I would put that advertising money into building your own website, Google presence, relationships with general contractors, property managers, building owners, and repeat customers before I would spend another dollar buying leads from Angi.

I was impressed with the timely fast service I received. Front room and bedroom were removed within a couple of hours.
Would call and use this young man and company again.

They are stealing your money until you. They cannot credit because they decided they cannot credit even if it’s irrelevant reason.
They gave me a phone number numbers of five people for a keychain model. Each person said they never called. They never contacted nothing.!
And they tell you sorry we cannot credit you that’s it.
The worst Customer service I have ever seen.
Don’t make business with them

Stay as far away from this company as possible!! what they tell you on the telephone and what actually takes place online is entirely different. Everything is a bait and switch. The customer service is horrendous. The only thing this company cares about is their bottom line not the contractor or the consumer that uses their services. I’m actually surprised this company is still in business. Doing well enough to have commercials on television is actually mind blowing.

Costco booked Angi to mount my 98-inch television. Angi gave me a specific appointment date and time, so I reasonably believed I had a confirmed installation and planned my day around it.
At the last minute, Angi cancelled because “no professional accepted the booking.”
In other words, there was never a confirmed appointment. Angi had merely posted the job to its contractor marketplace and presented that unaccepted request to me as though an installer had actually been scheduled.
To make matters worse, this was clearly a two-person job involving an enormous and expensive 98-inch television, yet Angi attempted to assign only one person. After cancelling, customer service refused to find anyone for the same day and admitted they could not even guarantee that a rescheduled appointment would be fulfilled. I could select another date, wait again, and potentially receive another last-minute cancellation if no contractor happened to accept it.
That is not a professional scheduling service. It is a speculative job posting disguised as a confirmed appointment, with all the risk and inconvenience pushed onto the customer. If an installer has not accepted the work, Angi should clearly say the request is “awaiting assignment”—not issue an appointment confirmation.
Angi wasted my time, left a 98-inch television sitting on the floor, and offered no meaningful resolution. Costco should seriously reconsider attaching its name to a service that cannot guarantee the appointments it schedules.

This place is the worst, sent one person for a 2 person job and me the homeowner was physically hurt.
Made a deal with them and had to chased them down after they breached the agreement. I said the agreement has changed and they said go pound sand.
If a lawyer sees this I'm down for help

It's been 24hrs since I replied back to Angi (homeowner @ angi.com) and nothing - Again be very cautious about using Angi as they are not customer friendly when you have an issue. It's easier for them to turn their back on you rather than doing what's right. I would not use Angi ever and if I can keep just one person from going down this path, then it's worth it.
Still 0 stars
48hrs I replied to the (homeowner @ angi.com) and again no response. These people don't care so I would strongly advise to find another outfit because this one is definitely not worth using. Their customer service isn't worth 0 stars - AVOID USING ANGI
Update:
Sent yet another email to (homeowner @ angi.com) and still no reply - Skip all this hassle and find another company than Angi - negative stars review

I had the worst experience with Angi. i paid a lot of money for a deep cleaning after renters moved out of a townhouse. You can’t get a detailed receipt to include what a deep cleaning includes. you cannot print a receipt you have to take a screenshot. Don’t ever use them. The service is terrible. I’ve wasted too much time on the phone with them today

I started my business in July of 2025 accepted a contract with Angi September 2025. From then until now, August 2026 I never obtained one lead from Angi. The amount I paid per month only generated 3 or 4 leads and as always the customers never responded or went ghost after providing estimates. Then it’s set up where you pay for a lead if a customer wants you to bid. So you could potentially pay $100+ for a lead you’ll bid on and never even get the job….overall I will NEVER use this service again for my business. I lost $5,000 basically. Not an investment this is a liability! So if you’re new to the game, stay far away.

On June 15, 2026, I purchased Angi assembly services for two beds for $144. During the service, one bed was damaged by Angi’s assembly professional, and the second bed was not assembled.
For more than two months, I have repeatedly contacted Angi by email and telephone seeking reimbursement for my documented out-of-pocket costs and removal/disposal of the damaged bed.
Angi agreed in writing to arrange removal and disposal at no cost to me. However, when the appointment was scheduled, the professional arrived stating that he had been booked to assemble a bed, not remove the damaged one. After I immediately notified Angi of the error, another professional was again dispatched for assembly rather than removal/disposal.
Angi also proposed a payment of $199.98 but required me to sign a three-page General Release Agreement. The original agreement broadly released Angi, the third-party retailer, and numerous related parties. It also provided that a breach of any provision would constitute a material breach and included $5,000 in liquidated damages, in addition to other potential remedies. After I objected, Angi removed the $5,000 provision and narrowed some of the release language, but Angi has refused to remove the third-party retailer from the release.
This is particularly concerning because my retail order contained two beds, while my claim to Angi concerns the one bed damaged by Angi’s assembly professional. I do not believe I should have to provide a comprehensive release involving the retailer and potentially affecting the second bed when Angi’s proposed payment addresses only the damaged bed.
I have not signed the release agreement.
I am seeking reimbursement for my documented loss, including the assembly charges, damaged bed, applicable shipping/handling and taxes, along with the removal and disposal of the damaged bed that Angi previously agreed to provide.
After more than two months of emails, telephone calls, incorrect service dispatches, and attempts to resolve what should have been a straightforward property-damage and service-refund matter, my experience with Angi has been extremely frustrating. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Angi.

I would not hire MR. Handyman and his name is Mark Dixon 144 S. Rochester Metro Park. He ripped people off doesn’t know how to do. The work doesn’t pay his employees and I’ve tried to contact him and text him several times about my paycheck. I had to call and make a claim to New York State labor board department for the unpaid wages to me over $1000 plus I went to a customer‘s house paid $60 cash out of my pocket for the customer stuff then in return I got the money back with the customers check for the parts and labor and MR. Handyman still didn’t return my money 60 bucks back to me or pay me for unpaid wages that I work for them from August 17 of 26 to August 21, 2026 MR. Handyman doesn’t know how to do the work he doesn’t know how to estimate work jobs and tries to get more money from other people

Its a fraudulent business. The people who sign you up will sell you on lies and tell you an average amount of leads per month, but their agreement is written in a way to have zero obligation to fulfill that average and you're stuck paying the full price each month.

My experience with Apex Drafting has not been the best. Reuben at Apex Drafting, has been deceptive, says one thing does another. Said he'd meet on our first appointment than called to let me know he would have to charge to come out and measure 1 hour prior. His plans were short on information and was given pictures and guide line from the city. He say there working on things and says that they'll be ready the next day, which has happened mulitple time. No schedule and lack of communication. from 6/01/2026 to 8/27/2026 Also promised a structural engineer which he has not produced. We were under the impression he had one in house.

I went with Angi for pros.
They promised me good leads.
1.) They gave me the wrong coverage area.
2.) They fixed it but said they couldn’t fulfill the leads they promised me.
3) Wouldn’t let me out of the contract even though it was based on something they couldn’t fulfill.
4) The leads that came in were from people looking for free work.
5) So I asked if I could completely delete my profile and contract. They said it’ll cost me over $1000 to cancel remainder of months. Turns out they put me at 12 months instead of the 6 months I said I needed. I do summer work.
I have contacted customer service MANY times to talk about the lack and quality of leads. They keep passing me onto someone else or tell me that there is nothing else they can do.
I’m. Not. Paying.
Collections if needed. I like a good battle.
Add on: Hey, we are the business owners. We know not all leads are won jobs. Also, summer work isn’t an 12 month job in Michigan. That was made clear and it wasn’t accepted. Especially when you sell a lead for $50 a piece to 4-5 different owners. Disgusting.
Looking forward to another reply from your keyboard workers.

Zero accountability and non-existent reliability. I purchased a garage door opener installation package through Lowe's, which was subcontracted to Angi. Angi has rescheduled my installation appointment TWICE with zero regard for my time. They take your money upfront and deliver no-show service. Save yourself the massive headache and hire a local technician directly instead of using Angi.
