Thailand was my 7th FTLO trip and definitely in my top 2 favorites that I’ve been on! (For reference, I’ve done Denver dude ranch, Belize, Havana, Barcelona/SoF, Mexico City, & Morocco.) It’s the perfect mix of city vibes in Bangkok, night markets, street food, & elephants in Chang Mai, and beautiful waters in Khao Lak! The Muay Thai fights in Chang Mai is a must as well! Our trip leader, Beam, is so sweet, informative, & accommodating! She’s very passionate about her country and it truly shows in her execution as a leader. She’s one of the best trip leaders I’ve had. We had a group of 9, and it was the perfect size. We all meshed so well! Leaving with new lifelong travel friends is my favorite part of the FTLO trips. This trip truly was 10/10. If you’re on the fence, just do it! You won’t regret it! 🇹🇭

I had a serious problem at Super Star Car Wash – Mission Valley on September 15. During the automatic car wash, either the machine malfunctioned causing the car in front of me to go off track or it was their own negligence. This caused scratches and rim damage to my car.

I filed an incident report in person and online, expecting a prompt response, as their website promises replies within 3 business days. It’s now been several weeks, and after a brief initial reply, the company has completely ignored all follow-ups.

This is unacceptable customer service and a clear lack of accountability. If your car is damaged here, don’t expect Super Star Car Wash to take responsibility or resolve the issue. I strongly recommend choosing a different, well-maintained car wash in San Diego that actually stands behind its equipment and treats customers fairly.

I went on the Barcelona/South of France trip in June. This was my 4th ftlo trip & most favorite! Raquel was the best trip leader I’ve had. She is wonderful, very kind & has a great personality. She made great recommendations and booked reservations for us. She was very attentive to the groups needs & made small adjustments as needed. It is very obvious that she loves what she does. I would love to be on one of her other trips. Highlights of the trip included the cooking experience and (chill) beach club day in Nice. Barcelona highlights were the catamaran day & tapas tour. My roommate & I got along so well as did the rest of the group. The only bummer was that our group was only 4 people. Past trips have had 12-14ish.
