Humana won’t pay a valid claim my dentist submitted nor give me a valid reason why or anything in writing. Had a dental cleaning on what turned out to be my last day of coverage with them since my employer changed companies. Dentist says Humana won’t pay because my coverage ended that day (employer says I was covered through the end of that day), Humana I think said (hard to get a clear answer) they won’t pay because my dentist didn’t submit the claim for 6 months and I didn’t have coverage with them that calendar year. Either way you look at it, they are not paying a valid claim for a preventative service that should cost me nothing and now I am on the hook $350. All I did was get a cleaning while I had insurance.
