My experience with Vinted as a seller has been extremely disappointing.

I sold an expensive pair of Gucci glasses. The buyer reported that the parcel arrived damaged, and Vinted decided that the issue was caused by insufficient packaging. I was then informed that I would not receive any compensation, while at the same time Vinted did not help me recover my own property.

This means that a seller can potentially lose both the money and the item, even though the item still belongs to them. This policy leaves sellers completely unprotected, especially when selling valuable items.

I expected Vinted to provide a fair solution and protect both sides of the transaction, not leave the seller alone with the problem.

After this experience, I am seriously reconsidering using Vinted in the future.I will also share my experience with others so that sellers are aware of the risks when sending expensive items through this platform.

I hope Vinted will review its policies and start providing better protection for sellers as well
