Review of N26

Annoying now introducing trading fees - overall not sure what the point of N26 is

Bit annoyed that they now introduce trading fees - (0.90 € per trade, irrespective of size) initially (first few years) they offered free trading which was obviously attractive, now they must have realised that this isn't profitable enough for them. Annoying - if you know something is likely not sustainable, don't start it in the first place!
The solution - I am in the process of transferring all my shares out to other brokers. Tip: Trading212 has no fees & interest on cash balances for multiple currencies with good support. There are other brokers that are free for example if buying/selling shares for over €500.
The banking with N26 is ok - nothing spectacular, you probably get better service elsewhere - having had a N26 account for perhaps 10 years I now tend to use other bank accounts.

Hey there, thank you for your review.

According to our T&Cs, we have the right to proceed with a change to our fees, after a communication with our customers.

We can totally understand your need for free trades. For that reason, if you have a Go or a Metal account account, you can have free trades each month. To be more exact, for the N26 Go you have 3 free trades and for the N26 Metal you have 10 free trades per month.
