Rent a car on a weekly basis at Charleroi Airport. The weekly charge always ranges for me from euro 380 to 500. On 22nd June I was charged euro 1,070 and upon challenging this huge increase I was informed they could charge this price due to demand on the day. My car wasn’t ready for 30 minutes. Once the car was ready I was asked to sign the rental agreement and at this time the price had jumped to euro 1,900 fo the 4 days rental. When I explained he had quoted me 1,070 30 minutes earlier he simply agreed and changed it back to 1,070. It’s crazy to think a customer can be taken advantage of to this extent as even the 1,070 is an extortionate and unnecessary charge for a rental that is normally half the price. Very disappointed
