Bosch dishwasher delivered this morning. We had indicated on the order form that the old appliance was to be removed. Delivery man said no, because there is no room on the van because you are the first delivery of the day. We were informed that JP Home would arrange an alternative day to collect the old appliance (fulfilling EU Directive on disposal).

So, poor planning by JP Home reference the old appliance & the first delivery of the day (he had taken a larger box off the van!) or this is a deliberate ploy to avoid fulfilling the EU directive on disposal of old appliances. Either way, we are now at home for 2 days instead of one. We had conflicting times for delivery right up to 08H15 this morning … when the new Bosch dishwasher was delivered.
