Quick and easy ordering
Quick and easy ordering. Very extensive catalogue of items. I've bought an Arduino board and can't be happier with it. Despite ordering just before 6pm, it was dispatched the same day and delivered the next, as promised. Really good service.

Having opted for express delivery
Having opted for express delivery, my order was divided in two, because 1 item had to be brought from the U.S.
I wanted the order to go to an exporter, using Expressway handling in Hounslow, who will get it sent out air-freight to me in Cape Verde. The addressee was ignored on the 2 packages and his name and company exchanged for my name.
Evidently the Export depot, not knowing my name, refused delivery for the first package and informed Farnell it’d been delivered! Certainly the second package due for delivery on Monday will be refused for the same reason. Who, in their right mind, working for Farnell, could permit themselves to change delivery information? I have phoned twice and exchanged emails with your ‘help’ team without result. On my order, address was clearly indicated as going to Nigel Mitchell, Denholm Good Logistics at Express handling. It’s very annoying-once UPS inform you that it’s been delivered (untrue!) where are my packages ?

Confusion - I did consider giving just 2 stars…
I did consider giving just 2 stars because the items I received weren’t exactly what I’d ordered. How - I spent ages searching for one particular item (36 way header pin) after first finding only 8way headers. I also had to keep tweaking the quantities to get “free delivery”. What actually arrived included 8 way ( not 36 way ) headers AND included a Delivery Charge. 4stars because it was probably my error - but the web site didn’t help !

Farnells website has suffered many…
Farnells website has suffered many issues over the last year or so. Its now got SO laggy and annoying to use that my company have dropped them as a supplier of components. I have been on to their tech people many times and sent them reports, videos of the issues etc. For a website that requires you to search through millions of components, it needs to work. Go look at Digikey Farnell... that is how its done
